0:20

ladies and gentlemen welcome to august 5th 2022.

0:25

we are the hosts of rockybreak podcast this is the rack your brain podcast i'm

0:31

charles fuchs i'm dominic leon and if we haven't mentioned we are wreck your brain

0:39

all right so as always we're this is episode 18 if i'm not mistaken somewhere 18 yeah and

0:46

as always as always we're going to make some some paige and some some

0:51

brand announcements if you will the first major announcement is

0:56

or i should go this way we have our first piece of merchandise

1:02

it is a rack your brain t-shirt uh it's a prototype right now we'll have better ones it is a prototype and more

1:09

better ones to come and eventually we will we will have the etched the hatched edge glasses and

1:15

personalized again and then the personal cigars that's right but for now we we have these these t-shirts we should

1:21

probably uh finally launch a website and actually sell the website is in its final phases of getting together i think

1:27

the last thing we want to do is take a couple of pictures so that it can be on the landing page of the website itself

1:33

we're going to take some professional shots so if you're a fan and you happen to be a professional photographer well i

1:38

got the photographer but what if one lucky fan wants to win

1:43

the opportunity uh and compete for the opportunity to take pictures of us that's right clothing optional for both

1:50

for both the photographer and the photography well i don't care if the photographer's naked i could care less

1:56

i'm not taking michael i'm too fat to take my clothes off yeah you are but for me i can i could go uh shirtless and uh

2:04

perhaps in my boxers uh for anything less than boxers i think i would have to charge the photographer

2:10

[Laughter]

2:16

oh [ __ ]

2:21

[Music] okay so

2:28

i have a topic i'll i'll kick us off wait no he's you know it's my birthday in four days right i knew it was coming

2:33

up i knew it's on the night uh we will the this episode and the next episode

2:39

will be recorded on oppa's uh a few days before and a few days after dominic's uh

2:45

79th birthday and so uh we will wish him a happy birthday twice happy birthday to my co-host dominic

2:54

leon a good friend ride or die except when his husband says no

3:01

i've noticed that i've noticed i get him ride or die whenever it is blessed off or doesn't

3:08

interfere with uh with his husband no because it means hey i got a buried

3:14

body all right but hold on

3:20

you [ __ ] who who am i gonna call that's the ball no it says that you go ahead and you just i'll be late

3:28

this is why i'm on bumble bff by the way it's it's because i need i need uh somebody there all right so then no that

3:35

that that's gonna change i'm gonna take a bit more assertive sort of approach until that happens

3:41

until you are truly the the king of your domain uh well i'm gonna have to find a backup

3:47

you aren't the king of your domain i am king of everything that i am allowed to

3:52

laze up you kidding me

3:58

she's bigger than you two she's taller and stronger i you know it's like in lion king right everything that the

4:04

light touches is my domain however anna always has control over the light switches

4:12

and every time you think of something i can hear a voice going what are you charles what are you thinking about

4:20

charles alexander i can hear her right now way to give out my personal information why don't you give them my social

4:25

security number while you're at it it's seven eight two

4:31

four seven zero six eight nine yeah that's it you're good

4:38

that's some poor bastards i don't know i was about to say some porsche mark is gonna have their identity stolen

4:43

anyway i will okay so as as always we're gonna talk about a whole lot of everything and a whole lot of nothing

4:50

i'm gonna kick us off uh with with the topic and it's it was it's sort of based on something that you were

4:55

saying earlier about about the constitution well it's about it all right let me just go here well it's it's

5:02

it's different you you know but i won't all right well let's go with this thing it's different than you can you can go to your thing okay

5:08

i was thinking about this actually during my bike ride but also what what you were saying about the

5:14

constitution um made me think of this as well so

5:19

months ago maybe three four months ago i don't know at some point but relatively recently

5:25

uh i went to pick up uh some some eggs from a neighbor of mine they they keep chickens

5:31

um i remember you telling me well i i don't know if i told you this that's right you told me about the air so um

5:38

one of the people in in this household they're they're they keep guns and and you know this this

5:43

i'm gonna sort of pass judgment on them but you know if if if you happen to be watching this i don't know if you do uh

5:49

but you're always welcome for a beer at my house but i'm gonna pass a little bit of judgment and so we were talking about this was uh

5:55

this might have been december because i think there was a a second amendment uh supreme court case that just they had

6:02

just they just like done the argument and we were waiting like we were waiting until the

6:07

summer for the announcement so the the supreme court case that was announced what three four weeks ago or maybe

6:13

longer at this point they had just made the arguments in so much like november december

6:18

anyway i go to the i go to their house right you got that going yeah let's go okay and so

6:24

we're we were talking about that that court case and this guy says the the follower this person says the

6:30

phone to me they're like they're like i really like this supreme court because

6:36

they're doing god's work and that the time comes and at the time that's what gets me that is what gets me

6:43

and at the time i just being polite i'm like yeah sure but also we were talking about this we were talking about the second amendment which is something that

6:49

that i support so i was like well yeah well why you gotta mix the second amendment in supreme court with god and

6:55

god that's right like you know and so i was thinking about that today and i don't remember what made me think but i was riding my bike unnecessary and

7:02

and i'm thinking to myself like what i actually should have said was

7:07

no they should not be doing god's work that's what god's for they should be

7:13

doing the constitution's work because that is what that is i really hate when people say that [ __ ]

7:19

like oh they're doing god's work i'm like so you think god's not doing a good enough job that he needs somebody else to step in more importantly we have a

7:26

constitution that separates this no but forget about anything that has to do with legal stuff i'm talking anytime

7:31

anybody says oh they're doing god's work i said well then you must think god's taking a [ __ ] vacation or a break

7:37

because or he's not doing a good enough job that you truly believe that a [ __ ] schmuck has to come in and step

7:43

in for hey all right god you had to go ahead and sit on the bench i got this we're not schmucks like come on or nine

7:48

schmucks gotta say to god hey god no you go on the bench take a breather we got this one since you're so busy

7:55

that would tell me that you're not you're a p you're not even a christian you're piece of [ __ ] to think that god's not good enough to do his job he needs

8:02

nine schmucks to do his job for him give me a [ __ ] break and more importantly we are a nation of laws based on the

8:08

constitution and and there is a clear separation like explicit clear

8:14

separation church and state of church and state and your religious views have nothing to do stay the hell out of the

8:22

legal processes and laws that and principles that apply to people that are not you and people that think

8:28

like you you are free to live your life according to your god but you cannot

8:34

make the laws uh apply apply as such i'm gonna say this

8:39

right now in the beginning of the pandemic starting around 2019 you know kind of

8:45

2020 liberals started getting like really wacky with some of the like you know not

8:50

not democrats but the liberals the radicals started going really the progressive side again really wacky with

8:56

all kinds of weird [ __ ] that they wanted to do and what they were presenting and what they were trying to get accomplished and

9:02

it had no place in a rational discussion some of the [ __ ] that they really wanted to

9:07

accomplish i think they were just trying to do it to see how far they can can go how far they can push the envelope i

9:13

think so that's what it seemed like the perception was that they were really just trying to push that envelope to

9:19

just see how far they can get however but sure but you know the perception my

9:25

perception whether it is or it isn't it has nothing to do with my perception but now the [ __ ] conservatives are

9:31

doing the same god damn thing they're trying to really shove this [ __ ] you know the the the god's work

9:37

[ __ ] down people's throats with what the supreme court is doing because it's not just this one guy with the eggs

9:44

look at i mean you you you look with clarence thomas he he said something before about like you know he tried to

9:50

push something about the legality of whatever and then he said he made a comment because i saw i watched it in an

9:55

interview and i'm like he shouldn't have said that man like dude i get what you're trying to do but you cannot you can't make comments like

10:02

that and be and then be on the supreme court and still expect people to take you seriously nothing against christians

10:09

nothing against conservatives but those two should not be exclusively in the same conversation when talking

10:16

about anything legal or anything religious for that matter those things should be

10:22

exclusively unto themselves like you should have them in separate conversations

10:27

and now the conservatives conservatives are starting to do some wacky [ __ ] and

10:33

i don't like you know so what i've done is i went ahead and you know because

10:39

every you can change your you know you can change things your voters i i had to

10:44

a lot of [ __ ] that the conservatives conservatives are coming out is trans to me right now

10:52

my pronouns are he and uh him he and poppy he and papa

10:58

but i am coming out as an un what is it unaffiliated yes i'm going to feel that

11:03

yeah i changed my political party i'm not a democrat can't be a democrat but i just can't don't see myself i

11:09

congratulate you i don't see myself welcome continuing to support because now more more of these conservatives are

11:16

starting to what they were criticizing for so many years

11:22

this is who they're starting to become they're starting to push their religious radical um i'm not going to call it nonsense but

11:29

they're really trying to push their beliefs on everybody's throat and then in an intertwined with these legal

11:35

proceedings that they're having and it just doesn't make any sense to me right radicals

11:40

that radicals will always try to but again to twist yeah twist the law and

11:45

the constitution to so here's the thing if we are a country of a con with a constitution a country of laws

11:52

right and the first amendment gives you the right to free speech and the freedom of religion and all that [ __ ]

11:58

well that gives you the right to freedom of religion but it doesn't give you the right to cons consistently two things

12:05

shove it down my throat your morals and your beliefs and and what you believe is right or wrong

12:11

and you also cannot intertwine legal proceedings or legal decisions based on your religious

12:18

morality legal anything legal and constitutional must stay within the legal

12:26

realm of what you're deciding it shouldn't your religious morals should not come into play there's there's an

12:32

expression and i think i'm getting right with am i wrong in saying that no you're absolutely absolutely right but so there's two things one there's an

12:38

expression i think i'm getting it right which is which is um one person's freedom of

12:43

religion is another person's freedom from religion which is one and the other

12:49

thing with with what you're saying uh is that that the though specifically

12:55

the conservative radicals the the the evangelical christians the religious christians

13:00

um act that they i guess i'm playing devil's epic in and and defending them slightly

13:07

they they see religious principles in some cases

13:13

as being consistent with with legal principles because if you ask a a truly

13:18

religious and i know i'm generalizing and stereotyping but many religious conservatives will say that the founding

13:25

fathers created the laws of this nation including the constitution based on

13:30

christianity they will say that right and i've heard that and that's what i was going to get to if if you really believe in the

13:36

constitution and you believe in the first amendment freedom of religion but this but the but these same

13:44

conservative politicians continue day in and day out to say we are a

13:49

country of christian values you cannot say that without dismissing every other

13:56

religion that exists in this country we are not a country of christian values

14:03

we are a country of multiple religious values because not every religion

14:08

follows your morality and your values as a christian you can be christian and have your values and live by what you do

14:15

you perceive as moral above all else we're we're we're and i and i say

14:20

where is in the country but like based on what what what the framers of the constitution all right forgive me if i

14:26

sound like an [ __ ] but you know i'm exploring my words a little bit but continue i'm sorry well the most important thing is that you look like an

14:32

[ __ ] oh yeah i mean you are what you eat all right

14:38

take that take from that what what what you will okay um i personally i i i take

14:44

that as as meaning that uh hot dogs for example have like all kinds of like pig back to your point

14:52

uh parts that that wouldn't normally be including pig anus okay so um

14:59

okay so the the we're we're a nation of of um democratic

15:05

values is is where was going with that yeah

15:10

and that's that's listen it doesn't get any simpler than that but to say that we are a country of christian values

15:16

dismisses jewish people dismisses muslims dismisses um every other religion other than

15:23

christianity we are not a country of christian values and morals we are a country of religious

15:28

multiple religious values and morals because not everybody follows the same religion there are

15:34

there are plenty of nations in the world that have their legal systems based on religions you are welcome to go live

15:41

there if you want to live in a theocracy there are theocracies in this world the united states of america is not a

15:47

theocracy thank god it is a democracy specifically a constitutional republic

15:54

and because of that we we well i mean there's there's numerous sort of uh um

16:01

conclusions from that one of which is that is that prince legal principles and laws

16:08

have to take into account a consensus they cannot re represent

16:14

radicalism on either quote-unquote side right whether you're talking about banning guns or whether you're talking

16:19

about banning abortions neither one takes into account at least the plurality

16:26

if at least the majority of views in this country with respect to either those two issues

16:33

i'm just i'm just really tired of of these you know from both sides you know trying

16:39

to enforce their morality and all multiple sides trying to enforce you

16:44

know and really push their morality on other people because the problem let's say the

16:49

problem i have is with a lot of these progressives they have this this uh

16:55

mob mentality of you know and i think a lot of it is if you look at let's let's look at um and this is again

17:01

this is my perception i'm not generalizing this is just how i see things and and conservatives are just as guilty

17:08

of it it's like all these little things you see and all these little people these groups you see

17:14

it's just people well you know they them he [ __ ] i don't know

17:19

these these [ __ ] people i don't give a [ __ ] i'll give a [ __ ] what tell me what not

17:24

to say i'm a [ __ ] person i'll say whatever the [ __ ] i want these people

17:30

um it's almost like they're so afraid of being excommunicated from their groups because

17:36

they're just a bunch of cowards that they'll just follow whatever direction their group is going and even

17:43

if they don't believe in a [ __ ] thing they're trying to do or trying to say they're just afraid that if i speak out

17:49

against my friends even if i don't believe in what they're saying or the direction they're going they're gonna

17:54

just toss me aside and say well you're not cool you're not you're not you know you can't be with us and then they're

18:00

going to be like in no man's land because they are no person's land because they don't want to

18:06

they don't want to be driven from their group that they've known even though they don't agree with what they're doing

18:12

but then again don't want to join who who they've been opposing this entire time

18:18

so they're kind of left in this limbo but then the conservatives are doing the same thing whereas like well if i don't follow

18:24

you know these lines that i had that have specifically been drawn from you know from fellow conservatives

18:30

if i don't toe the line no i i think you're not a liberal conservative you're talking about more more republican and

18:37

democrat right no no i'm talking about the radical progressives and the radical conservatives a lot of them don't

18:43

believe in what the the group is talking about but they're afraid of being kind of shunned look at the for example

18:50

look at what bill maher is a great example but look at the conservatives right now the conservatives what was happening with

18:56

the democrats back in in um in like 2020 2021 where it seemed more progressive

19:03

where it seemed like the party was having these inter-party you know they were really kind of going

19:09

at each other and they seemed very divisive within their same party and in early 2021

19:16

the republicans seemed like they were kind of all on the same page now midway through

19:22

2022 it's no it's completely different now now you have

19:28

the republicans have are very divided and now you're starting to see

19:33

their radical sides coming out when who's more of the radical conservative

19:38

and who's just a regular republican you're starting to see it so it's not i'm starting to see it's not my perspective

19:44

but you're saying it's not this it's not that it can i could be wrong on everything i'm

19:49

saying that's my perception from what i'm seeing you know on on a day-to-day basis from

19:55

there the conversations that i'm looking at on whether it's you know on c-span or whatever i'm watching you

20:01

know what they say perception they say a lot perceptions are like [ __ ] you put a

20:07

mirror up to it it sees itself my [ __ ] must look at itself every day because i'm always looking

20:13

i present my [ __ ] to the mirror constantly i say hi to it perceptions are like [ __ ] if you

20:20

bleach it it just won't feel the same yes it will [Laughter]

20:26

anyway no but i mean yeah you ever put hair on your insole no no i have why

20:32

would i remove any hair from there god intended for there to be hair between my crack and and hair shall remain okay

20:40

okay plus i don't it's it's an out hole only and so i know but it feels so like clean when you wipe oh it's it's i think

20:47

that's where the baby webs are for anyway perceptions aside

20:52

because of one of the problems in this country where where where there's a

20:58

strong belief that they're oh well i'm sorry because of the beliefs

21:04

in in wit in in parties okay there's there's a reality that there are only

21:10

two major parties there there are more parties than than two but because people

21:16

vote for vote for people i'm sorry they vote against people rather than four we've we we have the result of two major

21:22

parties uh which is which is a problem due to due to that reality

21:31

neither of the two major parties truly represents

21:36

the majority of the people that identify with with that party

21:41

that's why people say oh uh democrats aren't um aren't aligned they're not

21:46

aligned what's the word um unified democrats are in unified republicans are due to fight how could there be

21:53

when when one of two major parties cannot possibly represent 50 percent of

22:00

the views of or the views of 50 percent of this country it's just it's it's impossible

22:06

statistically it's impossible and use any uh adverb or adjective use

22:12

any word that you want to and and it'll work it's just impossible the other parties need to have some sort of

22:21

more they need to be more visible they need to be more it's not about the visibilities but people need to vote for them but no luck

22:28

convincing somebody to vote for somebody yeah i know i think it's just because you look at democrats and republicans in this um the amount of money that they

22:35

can generate versus the other politicians from other parties people are afraid of voting

22:42

for somebody else and a lot of them are afraid of voting they've so used to voting one way or another

22:49

between two parties so that they need to really [ __ ] start opening their eyes and saying hey there's other options you

22:54

don't like the two-party system because there is no two-party system there are other parties open your [ __ ] eyes do

23:01

the research stop following like sheep every [ __ ] news report and every other friend and all just because my

23:07

daddy was a republican [ __ ] that do your research there's more parties out there vote for the smartest candidate vote for

23:13

the best choice at least that you know don't just be ashamed i'd rather have a democrat the

23:20

republican what if the democrat is a turd literally it turned out of someone's [ __ ] is the republicans the

23:25

[ __ ] sandwich no no the republicans are human but the democrat is a piece of turd literally [ __ ] out of someone's

23:31

[ __ ] but it has the stamped democrat you want a turd because it has that that but a lot of people will vote that way

23:36

because oh my daddy was a democrat not even because of because they they truly have this book they're just so dead set

23:43

on their no i vote democrat and that's it and the the parties themselves i'm sorry

23:50

the parties themselves the democrats and the republican parties like the the the what do they call the party bosses

23:55

for like a better word they they they encourage those views among people who aren't politicians they

24:02

want an us versus them it only benefits them what i'm showing you is is an art is a headline or a piece of news that i

24:08

saw earlier in the week or i might have seen it last week former republicans and democrats form a

24:14

new third political party they're calling it forward

24:20

and it's supposed to be this new centrist party a moderate kind of moderate party i i i hope i would give

24:27

him a shot let's give him a shot that's literally i mean because for democrats and republicans to come and form a third

24:34

party it means that they all have a collectively kind of inline idea

24:40

they see the flaws from each of their respective parties the radicals and they say hey listen we can make it

24:46

if this is the ultimate bipartisan move by kind of escaping from your from your

24:52

original party and saying let's form this thing let's let's get together with our opponents and let's form this let's

24:59

register as forward forward members [ __ ] yeah i'll do it i'll do it hey forward people you got my vote that's right not

25:05

yet let's see what you got let's see what you talk about well also let's see if you'll sponsor us yeah rockybird podcast sponsored by

25:12

forward party the forward party that'd be amazing that would have been moving this country forward that's right dude

25:18

that would be amazing that would kind of put an end or at least a four year end to some [ __ ] radical [ __ ] mm-hmm

25:26

um by the way do you know what the statistics show as far as like and i i want to i want to be accurate

25:34

but by actually there's some detail that i don't know where i'm going with this do i understand you don't know

25:43

i'm a jack of all trades master of none masturbator if not um so

25:49

uh it's something it's so here's here's the statistic but i i hear and i'll explain the detail that i don't know 40

25:57

of people in this country identify as as unaffiliated or or or maybe they

26:04

identify as moderate the point is only 30 percent of one side and 30 percent of another like truly truly

26:12

identify as either democrat republican and i don't know if that's based on voting records or if it's based on

26:17

actual registration of parties or maybe it's just based on polling either way that's

26:23

the statistic 40 40 of the people are in the middle 30 are identified as radical

26:29

and 30 on the other and and the fact that there's there's hopefully a viable now

26:36

a moderate centrist party that'll that'll put put the other two into check that would be amazing

26:42

what we need is at least four to five viable viable major parties but but

26:48

hopefully we will get them and if all these people you hear all these interviews with you know people on the streets saying

26:54

well it's a two-party system well here's your [ __ ] chance you have a new party coming out the forward party you don't

27:00

like the two-party system that has been presented to us or at least that you know that is the perception because of

27:06

voting statistics people voting norms you vote one way or the other well now here's your chance we all have an

27:12

opportunity to see what the this new party is all about to uh to see the candidates that they

27:18

present and to see what they can present to us as far as a change in whatever it is

27:23

that we don't like or do like here's our chance don't talk all that [ __ ] about you don't like this or that

27:29

when you have a new opportunity to make change and then do the same [ __ ] thing you've been doing this entire time is

27:35

voting either republican or democrat you have a choice you have a new opportunity with a new choice a new option i'd say

27:44

get off your [ __ ] ass do the goddamn research and maybe take a chance take a chance to make this country better than

27:50

it already is because right now right now we're in a world of [ __ ] in my opinion

27:57

i'm trying to see by the way there's this guy on tick tock

28:03

and he goes around and his whole thing is we get all these people that we you know you watch

28:09

fox news cnn you watch all these major news networks and you know you're getting these people

28:15

i guess they're they pick them or i don't know who the how the [ __ ] it works but they're all talking about like well you know would you either vote for this

28:22

run of that one i don't know this guy's on tick tock and he's making it very clear but this guy is

28:28

going out to some of the worst neighborhoods in the country talking to gangs like

28:35

i mean like when i say gangs i mean like a literal street gang like it could be the bloods or the crips or whoever

28:40

whatever neighborhood he's in and he's talking to people in their gangs well they're wearing colors and they got guns on them and everything

28:46

he's saying who would you vote for watch those tick tocks i'm not going to say what the what the people on the

28:52

video say but it's not who you think they're thinking about no it's not joe biden they dude

28:59

these people could not [ __ ] say enough bad things about biden before

29:04

they actually said trump because the guy said if you had to vote right now between joe biden and donald

29:10

trump oh my god it was just an overwhelming there one guy was like biden

29:17

bye man you need to get trump back in the white house these are gang members they're all

29:22

like 30 deep in the street and there's one white guy with his phone is out there vote based on gang member no i'm

29:28

just saying but the perception is that they all said that all donald trump is raising me to wait for me to register

29:34

for this year's congressional race in my district as a forward member no i don't think it's too late at all but why don't

29:40

you do more research until the forward party into the forward party and see more about like what they're about

29:46

like but here's here's the thing though and i know what you're saying right like what is their position on yeah what is

29:52

there for like what are they exactly representing so at a at a high level they represent

29:59

being moderate right that's that's one right and i almost want to say

30:05

to a certain extent it doesn't matter what their specific policy positions are because even right now people who

30:11

identify i'm not talking about politicians hey even politicians paul whether you're a politician or

30:16

whether whether you're you're a citizen [Music] identifying as

30:23

being affiliated with a political party doesn't indicate what your views are

30:29

on any issue that's what i'm saying it's a leaning yeah you're either going to lean one way or the other but that's why

30:35

i say we gotta do more research until like what exactly this is what i'm saying it doesn't matter if it's a moderate view

30:41

i and this is an assumption right that whether it's about guns or abortion or about

30:47

the border about anything it's going to be a centrist view you can't have completely open border you can't have completely

30:54

closed board you can't have abortions up until the day of birth you can't eliminate abortions

30:59

altogether all together rightly and so on and so forth that would be my assumption and you're right it's it's it

31:05

it does depend a little bit right there's some importance on what their specific views are

31:10

but just the fact that they're trying to be a centrist moderate party is

31:16

already attractive to me yeah already i'm with you 100 there's a reason i changed my political

31:22

affiliation because i just cannot i cannot remain

31:27

leaning towards one side when the side i was leaning towards just has has not been making any sense it doesn't

31:34

lean to one side no i'm kind of like one of those kind of down the middle guys

31:39

it takes up a lot of room so if you get to the left if if mine leaned to one side or the other

31:44

i would probably be arrested for indecent exposure so i have to make sure it's always down the middle

31:51

anyway uh i think it might be too late to register for this year's uh i would i think you should research it see what

31:58

the timing is on it and [ __ ] do it i'd vote for you yeah i need to raise funding

32:04

you know what am i doing at home is there such thing i know there's not

32:10

but imagine if there is such thing as um vice congressman you would be my wife's congressman

32:17

i can be like the staff member i'll wear listen i'll wear the high heels and shave my head like this [ __ ] idiot

32:23

that biden has right now and this is coffee this is not bring your i'll bring your your black with three pumps of

32:29

caramel and five pumps of caramel and foam

32:34

all right uh brown sugar brown sugar and cold foam yeah i'll bring that i go to donkeys and

32:40

get your [ __ ] cold foam thing uh this is not an endorsement of nepotism if and when dominic leon

32:48

becomes one of my staff members um it'll because he passed the test that's right it'll be

32:53

because of his uh his merits and and not because uh he's my ride or die unless his husband says nobody

33:02

while he's in the office i'll be standing in the front door go where the [ __ ] you going you got an invitation to this party no

33:08

then [ __ ] kick rocks but i'm a constituent yeah constituent of what

33:15

of what yeah keep going i want to talk to him talk to me first

33:21

no no no no no no no this isn't the mob

33:27

yeah i'm the door but i ain't no what do you want that's my name open door how

33:32

can i help you i want to talk to charlie yeah my name's charlie today what do you want

33:40

i'm here i see my congressman i identify as charlie the congressman right now you're talking to me what do you want

33:46

no that sounds like [ __ ] keep going speaking of of uh you got an appointment

33:53

no speaking of of uh uh congress people um

33:58

uh you know going to bed or or assisting things i'm so happy

34:03

so happy that i'm finally at 100 uh gi bill oh dude yeah that was that was uh that was that was uh yeah it was

34:10

over a year and a half it took me a year and a half this you got it squared away because you got you did the

34:16

right thing you went through the right channels and you spoke to the right people and you pushed you pushed and you pushed and

34:21

listen that's a good testament to uh don't give up especially when you know you you're old something you know you're

34:27

right you kiss you can't just [ __ ] lay down belly up and give up when you know you got to get something

34:33

and it's coming to you you [ __ ] push you get that [ __ ] that's right now if somebody if if if

34:39

the thing that somebody's got to give to you requires you to lay on your belly then uh you know that's that's

34:46

that's another story um anyway that's that's unrelated to my

34:51

i do suggest that belly down position it's unrelated to my previous comments about passable trainees

34:58

oh there's another topic i wanted to talk about transgender no no no okay uh uh

35:07

night court nightcore all right so going back to the first thing that charlie mentioned about you know it was a it was a clip i showed

35:14

him about about um [Music] the uh the constitution and all that and

35:20

in this clip the guy says you know we're all a family we're all children of the constitution and we all

35:25

should treat you know we're a family and we should all treat each other with respect and and yada yada yada

35:31

i had made a comment about that saying but the problem with that is i'm tick-tock the problem with that is

35:38

sometimes family can hurt you more than people you don't even know and that's the kind of

35:44

pain that's hard to to go away or it's harder to make go away especially when

35:50

people you love you know family and friends if they hurt you in such a way it's like

35:56

you know they hurt you the pain is harder because they're closer to you so you feel it a lot more

36:02

in your soul and you take it a lot more personally because it's coming from a person who knows you

36:09

that being said i've been going through this family drama for about a week now

36:15

and you know it really hit me this is the new drama now you know i'm kind of i'm

36:21

just going to kind of lay lay out my personal [ __ ] here for a second

36:27

for almost 43 years now most of the women in my life not all of

36:33

them most of the women in my life have let me down or upset me or or

36:41

did something harmful to me that i can't say it's unforgivable because

36:47

i've always tried to be that person that let it go just move forward forget it

36:53

and it kind of goes away but then my father never did that and my father was in my life

37:00

kind of in and out because of his job he was a merchant marine um [Music]

37:05

my grandfather never did that only because he didn't really know how to raise a kid

37:11

and when i went to go live with them he did the best he could with what he knew how to do

37:17

but um because my mother is my grandfather's stepdaughter so he never had any of his

37:22

own kids so he did the best he could with what he knew how to do now

37:28

i grew up with a mother who was pretty much

37:34

not all there she was you know kind of on the on the crazier side she was one of those studio 54 people

37:41

she was you know obviously very deep into the 80s anybody who understands that

37:47

you know take it how you how you can get it um and

37:52

you know we my mother and i were homeless for two years and we lived on the streets of coney island and south

37:59

brooklyn and then my grandmother figured out what was going on my sister had already been

38:04

living in puerto rico and then my grandmother figured out what was going on somehow i think somebody

38:09

said something to her and i i eventually ended up in puerto rico when i was eight years old but before the time i was six to eight years old my

38:16

mother and i lived on the streets of we were even sleeping underneath the boardwalk of coney island and bushes we were kind of everywhere in

38:23

different people's houses because we had nowhere to go but a lot of this was my mother's own

38:28

doing because i watched my mother do a lot of you know weird [ __ ] that kids should never see

38:34

their mother ever doing and you know and uh and the abusiveness out

38:41

of that was a lot of it was geared it was towards me because i was the only person

38:47

i guess the closest to her where she can get out that rage and anger and whatever the [ __ ]

38:53

else she had in her mind and in her heart i was the i guess the the target of all that and

38:59

then when i went to puerto rico it didn't really change you know anything that bad happened in

39:06

my house my sister would my sister could have burned down the [ __ ] house my grandparents would have beat me for it

39:13

and my grandparents had a bad day i'd get in trouble for they'd yell at me or hit me for whatever

39:20

and mainly it was my grandmother not my grandfather so much he would get upset mainly because he

39:25

didn't want to hear her mouth but my my struggle was that i was always getting

39:30

in trouble for things i never did my sister would do or she would be the one couple before it but i would always

39:38

get the the [ __ ] end of the stick and then fast forward

39:44

so now i got it from my mother i got it from my grandmother and now i'm getting it from my sister

39:49

where she just she's got no friends she's got no life my sister is 47 years old she's never worked a day in her life

39:56

my grandfather's given her a house she destroyed it she's had at least 17 cars she's

40:02

destroyed every single one of them she's got three beautiful girls all of which my grandparents raised because my

40:07

sister's a [ __ ] idiot um but because nobody is around her and because she's got no friends and she's

40:13

got no life i think the only thing she has left is to create drama where there is no drama to

40:19

be had only because it's the only thing that makes her life kind of i guess it's the only excitement

40:25

she can find kind of thing but because i'm the only one around because she's got no friends and nobody

40:30

else that gives a [ __ ] about her i'm the target of her you know [ __ ] aggression so again

40:38

here i'm going through this [ __ ] you know with family and it's always primarily the women

40:45

now again i don't have anything against women but it just seems that the women in my

40:51

family have decided let's all just attack me because i'm an easy target because

40:57

i don't i don't really go after people i don't really give a [ __ ] but it still hurts

41:03

and it hurts me because i seem to always try to go out

41:09

of my way to help people when whatever way i can if it's within my reach and you know like i had my

41:16

niece living with me for a while which you know it was a big deal and because my sister

41:21

was just such an incompetent person but she took that as if i were trying to

41:27

say that she was a failure and then she's no good and that's when i'm like i'm trying to help your own daughter

41:33

you're making this about you my point to all this is yeah we are all in this country together

41:41

there's no there's no you don't like it you're welcome to leave but if you want to stay yeah that means

41:47

we're all here together at some point we have to figure out a [ __ ] way to be unified but that doesn't mean we're all

41:52

going to get along all the time but at the same time

41:58

you can't expect people to just like you or be nice because we're all under the

42:03

same umbrella of the constitution that's not the way this country works and you can't expect people to accept

42:10

things or [Music] not accept things what's another synonym for not accepting or you know whatever

42:16

it is like no like basically everybody's different and

42:21

that's the beautiful thing about this country is that even though we're in this country we're americans and we're all under the same constitution and the

42:28

same laws it's not always just live and let live

42:33

you know you have to accept that people are different in this country my point of that is you can treat

42:39

your fellow americans as family because sometimes family can hurt you worse than somebody you don't know

42:46

so let people just be people don't try to get into their business don't try to get into their lives don't

42:53

try to dictate what they can and cannot do because then you're gonna end up getting hurt far worse than you expect and far

42:59

worse than you may even think that you can be so don't think of each other as family

43:04

just we're all americans under the same constitution i know i'm probably rambling but i just needed to get this

43:10

out because that particular tick tock really it really kind of messed with my head a

43:16

little bit you know something happens to charlie i'll worry

43:21

and i'll help him but if something happens to the guy down like two doors down i'm like i don't know him like i hope he's all right

43:28

you know that's the best i'm gonna do because i don't know i don't know what's going on

43:35

now now that i got that off of my chest i'm uh i'm i'm looking to whether or not it's too late

43:40

for me to run as a forward candidate i think you should i think you should i'm i already signed up

43:45

on uh on their website as a member and uh i'm gonna reach out to their their local coordinator to see to see what

43:52

they can do about this you gotta show me how to do that then easy peasy japanese

43:59

so was that racist japanese no no you can say japanese you just you shouldn't use the proper pronouns

44:08

japanese in japan

44:15

[Laughter]

44:28

[Music]

44:34

holy [ __ ] that was great

44:40

uh anyway um so what was going on about the candidate

44:45

thing uh oh so so the two in in in our district because i think we're definitely in the

44:51

same district um two candidates then come at the republican and

44:57

just i i want to be careful how i phrase this a a

45:04

someone who first of all there was no party in our uh sorry there was no primary in our district this year

45:11

because there was only one person who registered as a democrat to run and one person who registered as a republican to

45:17

run how crazy is that the republican is the incumbent and the democrat is just some

45:23

guy that's like uh well i guess nobody else is doing it and he signed up

45:30

no i mean no offense them i i don't know anything about him i i mean i read a little bit i don't think but if that's your only motivation that oh nobody else

45:36

is going to do it like come on man holy [ __ ] this is why nothing changes

45:43

because people don't [ __ ] put themselves you want change but you're never going to have the balls to go and

45:49

be a part of that change and then [ __ ] oh this shit's [ __ ] up no

45:54

you had a [ __ ] chance to do something about it and you chose not to that that

46:00

takes away every [ __ ] right for you to say anything about anything you have the chance for change you

46:07

decided not to do anything about it that makes your [ __ ] voice null and void it's quiet shut up you have no [ __ ]

46:14

voice here you decided to be quiet now your opinions mean dick shut up in color

46:19

that's it just [ __ ] toe the line that's what your goddamn sheep i wish i had a [ __ ] spray can to spray can

46:25

people with little letters and big orange [ __ ] like sheep like you mark sheep on a farm i'm gonna mark these

46:31

[ __ ] brand them oh that would be [ __ ] fantastic carry around walking a brand uh carrying a branding iron and a

46:37

blowtorch just actually speaking of [ __ ] i'll just quietly just heat it up and what are you

46:42

doing i'm like you'll see so get this i i speaking of branding i saw this very very cool video

46:48

uh on tick tock of course of all places where uh it was a new technique for a

46:54

painless technique for branding they they took a a bra i think it was a regular branding iron maybe it was a

47:00

special one is it like with the cold ice yeah yeah yeah i've seen so so it was liquid nitrogen they make it super cold

47:06

they put it against the fur and then the fur in that spot always grows uh uh white or gray in a different

47:13

color but in in the shape of the brain it has something to do with the hair follicles yeah yeah they do but the hair

47:18

keeps growing yeah but it just and it doesn't damage the skin or hurts yeah it's painless isn't that cool

47:24

it's not painless man i've had a [ __ ] planter wart and they put that liquid nitrogen [ __ ] on the bottom of my foot

47:30

man i saw marilyn monroe and elvis presley having a conversation but it's like a moment

47:36

still

47:45

[Music] the podiatrist that did this [ __ ]

47:52

nitrogen [ __ ] on my plant no she did that plantar wart nitrogen thing i had like ten on one foot ones no i only had

47:57

like three or four on one foot but so i'm gay but

48:04

this woman she was she was jewish this is at the va hospital in brooklyn

48:09

this woman there was something about her right next to fort hamilton right next to it there's something about her that

48:15

as she's doing this to my foot she was stunning like a beautiful woman

48:21

obviously jewish though you know and that was it was the nose but her nose wasn't like

48:29

it was she was a stunning woman nose and all it was like everything was where it was supposed to be it was like if this

48:34

is the first episode you're ever listening to or watching i am jewish i'm allowed to say the word

48:39

no mistakes were made in the in the making of this woman you know and you know the guy left it in

48:45

there for long enough let it marinate he got in there deep he let it sit every everything was done

48:51

correctly you know they made her and the whole time she was doing this to my foot she's looking at me making eye

48:57

contact she goes is that okay and her smile i almost like god like i

49:02

my body and my brain says not to say anything obviously because i mean

49:07

i'm i'm homosexual but my penis says you should say something to this brother

49:13

you should definitely like yeah i think we should explore this new avenue of possibilities and i'm talking to myself

49:19

going shut up like this no it's not what we're doing there was something about her and she smiled the entire time and she rubbed my

49:27

foot she goes i'm sorry and i'm like oh my gosh she is caressing my ugly ass eyes 13 foot

49:33

i don't know it's the only time but i still remember the pain the pain of like needles digging into my

49:39

foot as she's spraying this thing dude tell me that didn't [ __ ] hurt when they sprayed that [ __ ] on your feet

49:46

horrible burning it's cold but it burns like a [ __ ] i had you know where you got plantar warts

49:51

if this was in my infantry officer base of course it was it was like the last week of the field and we

49:58

went to some like fake fob you know training fob and there were these like wooden wooden floor shower tents

50:05

and and i walked around barefoot because i forgot my shower shoes and within like two weeks both feet had

50:11

like 10 each it was the worst thing and then they spread to my hands yeah it was

50:17

the worst you keep trying to pick at them and then your fingers get them and it's [ __ ] horrible

50:22

dude i had that that's [ __ ] horrible horrible i had one like right on the corner of my heel over here

50:30

i kept taking my razor to it to shave it down to see if it would help and i even

50:35

dug in there with my knife that joe saw me doing it hey will is it too uh-huh too many

50:41

relationships remember send it you sent it yeah yeah yeah

50:50

i even took a knife and my husband saw me digging into my planetary ward and he's like what are you doing i'm like

50:56

i'm trying to get to the root of this thing out of my foot he goes we need to go to the doctor stop doing this you're

51:01

a [ __ ] animal i'm like i know it because it was a regular kitchen knife that i had and i'm digging well i mean

51:07

was one of those kitchen knives that you no longer use for kitchen stuff it's like more of those like you used to open boxes and [ __ ] and i'm digging in my

51:13

[ __ ] foot you can't get rid of it like that i was trying everything and then joe finally was like you need to

51:19

stop i was making my foot bleed i was gushing it it doesn't work i know but finally i

51:25

went there and i had the she was that broad was spraying all this [ __ ] into my foot i ended up so i would i went to the

51:32

podiatrist and he would do that but like you can only go like once every two weeks or something and i got like the the free stuff from yeah from cvs and oh

51:40

i tried that too it didn't work well so here's the thing the instructions say like leave on for 30 seconds otherwise

51:45

you can cause permanent nerve damage yeah i left that on for like a minute minute and a half i'm like i don't care

51:50

i need to get rid of these things it was it was so bad i was doing all the tricks to say put [ __ ] uh

51:58

apple cider vinegar everything none of that [ __ ] [ __ ] works man you need this bra to spray

52:04

that [ __ ] on your foot and have her look you dead in the eye while she's doing it that's it just and just imagine her wearing a lot

52:11

of leather with spikes and [ __ ] you know because that's that's what it is it's it's a real [ __ ]

52:18

sado-masochistic thing because they're doing it with a smile on them anal sex doesn't hurt

52:25

well i mean it doesn't hurt me after years of practicing i think i've

52:30

developed after years of practice i built up a tolerance for it and a liking to it

52:38

clearly i think we got time for one more topic

52:44

go ahead swing better better swing

52:49

marijuana legalization what's what's up with that i think they were trying to push the

52:54

the medical marijuana here in the state but um i don't know about recreational use

53:04

let's see at some point it is going to be legal everywhere no matter what you do well i mean even the house that they're waiting

53:10

for yeah but i'm saying eventually it's going to just be legal across the country

53:16

yeah there are dispensaries like well first of all first of all i was in

53:21

new york last week and i smelled it ever i mean you used to smell it dude i went to vegas and it was like [ __ ] everybody

53:29

and their great grandmothers is smoking this [ __ ] listen july 10 north carolina senate

53:35

passes bill they could legalize medical marijuana i'm all about if you want to smoke weed

53:40

smoke weed but it doesn't mean that everybody simultaneously has to be doing it in the

53:46

streets just because you can doesn't mean you should all the time because not everybody wants to walk into

53:52

a big puff of your [ __ ] hydro or whatever the [ __ ] it is now or whatever they got going on

53:59

interesting this north carolina bill even says eligible patients it's all for

54:05

medical but says eligible patients younger than 18 could consume medical cannabis through non-inhalation methods

54:11

with the consent of illegal guardians i wonder if my new york medical marijuana would be transferable to north carolina

54:16

i mean if they do it maybe or i mean because i have it from again yeah you would just do it again maybe

54:22

i don't think they reciprocity probably is not a thing yet not with that no i think it'd be too new

54:28

and the reasons that marijuana you know hemp was was deemed illegal anyway where the reasons they had for

54:35

were [ __ ] ridiculous i mean originally like you told me years ago what's that it meant like 70 years ago

54:42

yeah like [ __ ] a long ass time ago i mean it was conservative christian values is what made it illegal no no

54:48

that's not it you look it up what it was is pharmaceutical companies now it wasn't pharmaceuticals either it was

54:55

you've heard that right i've heard that too but it wasn't if you do the research marijuana was deemed illegal

55:01

like over 70 years ago because hemp the hemp that would that would be used from the plant could have put [ __ ]

55:09

paper fabric paper manufacturers and road manufacturers completely out of business

55:14

and they saw that as a threat to their bottom line so they got together with their lobbyists and they [ __ ] pushed and

55:21

pushed and then they made they made movies like um uh what the [ __ ] is these uh what's it's a

55:28

movie [ __ ] it's a movie that was made that they made these like people smoking weed and they were going great reefer

55:33

madness yeah they made that to kind of really demonize marijuana the reason they call it marijuana is because

55:39

marijuana is it's a spanish word that comes from mexico which is another thing they try to attach to it saying that

55:46

well it's this demon weed it's a demon drug coming from the south in mexico and it's this is this drug and

55:53

you know that's if you do it you'll find out it was the paper people and the rope manufacturers they just didn't want hemp

55:59

to be a thing to be manufactured into anything because it would have put them out of business or at least really

56:05

hurt their bottom line so they used lobbyists and money to try to push for this [ __ ] thing google i googled was

56:12

marijuana illegal you ready for this answer i'm reading word for word

56:18

wait what's the source well let me read yeah and then you can ask this first

56:25

the short answer is racism

56:31

oh [ __ ] [Music] good

56:37

and at this at the turn of the 20th century cannabis was a little used drug

56:43

among americans with the start of the mexican revolution in 1910 however many mexicans began moving to the united

56:49

states and they brought with them the tradition of smoking marijuana amid a growing fear of mexican

56:55

immigrants hysterical claims about the drug began to circulate such as allegations that it caused lust

57:02

in addition the term cannabis was largely replaced by the word marijuana which some speculated was done to

57:08

promote the foreignness of the drug and to stoke xenophobia

57:13

iran around this time many states began passing laws to ban pop

57:19

in the year in the 1930s uh the head of the federal bureau of narcotics turned the battle against marijuana

57:27

some believe he was motivated less by safety and more by a desire to promote

57:32

his newly created department whatever the rationale uh this this the head of this department

57:38

sought a federal ban on the drug and to this end he initiated a high profile campaign that relied heavily on racism

57:45

he claimed the majority of pot smokers were minorities including african-americans and that marijuana had

57:51

a negative effect on these quote degenerate races such as inducing violence or causing

57:57

insanity you can't argue have you ever seen a person on weed that

58:04

wants to be violent you're you're right but you can't argue as much as as much

58:10

as right like we we laughed at sort of like the the the current implication that everything is is based on racism

58:17

right which is which is false that not everything can be based in racism plus there's all but

58:22

they love to [ __ ] say that plus the current definition of racism is completely skewed as as we know um

58:31

but all that being said you it's tough to argue with evidence that says the head of this bureau of narcotics

58:37

literally said it it affects minorities by making them violent and then the states made started making

58:44

it illegal it's tough to argue with that not being a racist although that yeah

58:49

that is the racist part of it yeah obviously because he used it to that's [ __ ] crazy speaking of weed

58:56

let's talk about brittany greiner that's her name yep nine years ago but yeah the wmba nine years in a [ __ ] uh in a in

59:04

a labor camp it's it's and you know what she's saying yeah but you know what she said that tim kennedy

59:10

uh and i love tim kennedy tim kennedy if you're listening dude i love you great tim kennedy said

59:16

britney griner said when i was arrested they didn't read me right my rights

59:22

and tim kennedy you're in [ __ ] russia this is the what this is

59:28

right is an american thing because of the supreme court you know you like you know and then some and she's like oh

59:34

well this is racist and then she's like oh it's just because she's a woman of color but meanwhile there's a lot about

59:39

herself no somebody else said that but meanwhile is a white guy who did the same exact thing just a few years back

59:44

and he got like like nine years or ten years in prison too so it's not about race it's about the this was the marine

59:50

but this is somebody else yeah yeah it's like yeah submarine or whatever he and he got like something

59:56

fogle is his name and he got and he got like nine or ten years in a in a in a russian prison because he same exact

1:00:02

thing for bringing marijuana in the country no it's not it's not racist

1:00:07

that racist every country has their law you know it's illegal to chew gum in singapore

1:00:13

that that might be the case but the reason the reason she was arrested is because because

1:00:18

russia's aggression ukraine and it's it's retaliation they any american there is not safe truly i hope that there's no

1:00:24

american in russia but the only reason she was there is because they pay her to their they pay her more money than they

1:00:29

pay her here to play basketball and look at uh was it magic johnson that got paid like a million dollars to play in saudi

1:00:35

arabia who was was it magic johnson a lot of these players they go out to europe they go out to these different countries to

1:00:42

play sports and they get paid [ __ ] mega bucks you know how many american mlb players have gone to japan to play

1:00:48

baseball because they get played they get paid megabucks you know how many basketball players go to eastern europe

1:00:55

latvia and all these other countries to go play basketball from the nba and they play in europe and the european league because

1:01:01

they can make [ __ ] bank she was doing the same thing a lot of these other players because she only made like what i think it was like two

1:01:08

or six hundred thousand a year to play in the wnba i don't know who was but i i thought i think it was magic but she was

1:01:14

making over like a million something to play in russia but the problem with that is like she

1:01:21

had been there already several times so she knew the rules she should have known and the

1:01:26

fact that she said they didn't read me my rights i'm like where do you think this is yeah you know that's ignorance random

1:01:33

state in the us there is no miranda rights in russia and you had to have known that bringing marijuana in there

1:01:39

was illegal the fact that you got caught is the only problem you have and now the whole biggest thing is that she she was

1:01:47

really pushing hard for the national anthem to not be played at wnba games

1:01:52

she was taking a knee during the national anthem she was that is completely irrelevant to her current situation in in let me finish because

1:01:59

i'm only regurgitating what's part of the story it's not my perception or my opinion this is it's part of the story in places where

1:02:06

you might have read it but the actual story is wnba like you you said most of it until you got to the fact of what her

1:02:12

stance was in the national anthem irrelevant she could have been she could have been like

1:02:18

opposite she had been like we must pledge of allegiance every morning as we brush our teeth at every nba game the

1:02:24

same thing would have happened to her my point to that is that now the radical conservatives are saying well now the

1:02:30

country that you hated and you hated the national anthem you hated america you hated all this now you want america to

1:02:35

come to your rescue because you don't want to do nine years in a labor relationship we should defend our

1:02:41

citizens overseas even if they're even if they're progressing is it relevant but this is the this is how far people

1:02:47

will go to prove their their radical points they're putting two things that are not tied together with one another

1:02:54

but because it was because of the same it's from the from the same person they want to type one thing of the other to

1:02:59

just kind of make things either worse or just to prove their narrative like see how i'm right look at this and like it

1:03:05

has nothing to do with that we should be defending our citizens the best thing about america is that

1:03:10

for example the two of us could disagree on everything but we have the right to do that here in

1:03:16

this country we don't have to like the fact that she doesn't like the international anthem

1:03:21

listen both of us both of us him and i are in the military don't assume my

1:03:27

gender no no they them and me aren't we i'm a veteran he's in the

1:03:32

military currently but one of the things i always knew about the constitution and what we were doing

1:03:39

is that i'm defending something and i'm in a position where

1:03:45

if you hate my guts for being a soldier if you hate the fact that i defended this country and the ways that i did and

1:03:52

the things that we do and the ways that we do them i'm defending your right to hate me

1:03:59

because that's the american way freedom i'm defending your right to not like the

1:04:05

constitution or not like the [ __ ] the national anthem or not like the flag you

1:04:10

can hate it all you want and i will defend your right to do that that's the american way speaking of

1:04:17

hating dominic's guts if you were a closeted uh conservative or republican who in

1:04:25

heart of hearts likes men even if you hate cabinet

1:04:30

republicans no that's a difference that's always amazing is it there okay it's all gay republicans okay but

1:04:36

they're not closeted they're open i'm talking about they're not they're not and they're not in the closet but they're all in this log cabin

1:04:43

sure but they're not a closet okay but i'm talking about the the closet of the evangelicals yeah like trying to somewhere i'm talking about the lindsey

1:04:49

grahams of the world i'm talking about the i'm talking about the um in the world
