Part 1: Privilege in the Coaching Industry
Oct 03, 2023 Season 1 Episode 50
Lindsay Poelman

Some aspects of the coaching industry are inherently privileged, and as uncomfortable as it can be to look into, raising awareness is key to ensure safe environments for our clients, and ourselves.

In part 1 of this recording of Lindsay's Problem with Privilege webinar, you'll learn about privilege bubbles, and get a chance to assess where you fit (or don't fit) in with respect to your specific privilege point.

You'll see REAL LIFE examples of how lack of awareness or understanding can do harm, and you'll walk away:

  • With easily implementable strategies around what to do instead.
  • Feeling validated and seen, wherever you may lie on the spectrum of privilege.
  • Knowing more about how to support your clientele and minimize harm.

Bringing a trauma-informed lens to your coaching practice can do wonders to create safety for your clients.
