In this fast-paced world of chasing our dreams, it's really easy to forget about the things that really drives us towards genuine victories. You can ask anybody around here. Personal growth equals business growth every single time. As a matter of fact, be successful, you need to work on a few habits, like making fast decisions, being authentic, being a problem solver, being prepared and learning to anticipate what's coming, to name a few I want to talk to you about what I think is the hardest habit to really embrace, especially as an entrepreneur, and that is to be authentic, finding the strength to just be you. You are enough because you are extraordinary, and only you can bring your gift to the world in the way that you were meant to be. That is a gift, but growing up, many of us felt the need to fit in or do whatever was expected of us, whether it was following what society thinks is right or going along with what our friends and family wanted.
Speaker 1:It's common to lose sight of who we truly are. We are often told to stick to certain rules, fit into predefined categories and hide our individual quirks and interests. Maybe, like me, your parents are parent-generation and believe in things like ADHD or autism, and you're still working on what that means for you, but inside we really just want to be ourselves and show our true colors. Can you remember a moment when you felt the weight of the world on your shoulder, trying to fit into an expectation that didn't align with who you truly were? The daily struggle, the confirming at work. I will always remember the time I walked in to work with an ice cap. For my non-Canadian friends. It's a frozen coffee so much better. And my boss would literally give me shit because she truly thought that drinking a nice cap in the morning because of the sugar content made me too happy. I was too happy in the morning. If you get to know me personally, you know that I thrive on being a rainbow of sunshine. I want to be happy. I want to laugh. I want to fix all of your problems, but in a positive way. I want to make your day. I want you to be excited.
Speaker 1:I believe that many of us found ourselves in that situation and we felt the need to be someone else in order to succeed. It's really essential to recognize that true success lies not in becoming a carbon copy of others, but in embracing our authentic self and, as an entrepreneur, that is the foundation of our business. So here's the deal. I recently had an incredible honor to be a guest speaker for the Unleash your Voice and Elevate your Spiritual Entrepreneur Journey event and in our hard-to-hear conversation with Cheryl, the host, we we really dived into how I created a dream-driven, all-in-one platform fueled by passion and ignited by a vision.
