91: Good Things and Plant Love with Maryah Greene

What started as an Instagram account full of plant tips and tricks, has blossomed into a full-blown business for Maryah  Greene of Greene Piece. Maryah has established her position as New York’s go-to plant stylist following appearances and features in The New York Times, Vogue, Good Morning America and more.

With a background in education Maryah is no stranger to making a pivot, following opportunity, and to cultivating green spaces wherever she can.

Maryah's best kept secret for 3 years was that she has been offered a book deal leading to her debut picture book: Good Things.

Good Things is a  a beautiful and necessary picture book about a little boy who loses his father and pays homage to his life through the growth and love of plants.

With Maryah's book out in the world and the plants of NYC thriving we dive into her career, the happenstance moment along the way and how everything, is always, growing, changing, and thriving.
