Episode 3: Cam Heyward contract, and Steelers schedule

Episode 3 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out.  We start the podcast with the news that Cam Heyward will be skipping OTAs in a contract dispute with the Steelers.  Heyward announced this on his podcast, and even went as far as to say “I want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler, but we’ll see what happens”.  This opens up the possibility of a long holdout, and even a possible trade demand.  

Next it’s all about the Steelers 2024 schedule.  They have one of the quirkier schedules we can ever remember.  Pittsburgh does not play a division game until week 11.  The entire second half of the season is brutal.  The Steelers even have a Wednesday game on Christmas Day against the world champion  Kansas City Chiefs.  The 2024 season has a chance to go really, really badly if the Steelers are not prepared for this second half barrage.
