Heyward was extremely upset that Dulac reported he did not tell the Steelers he wouldn’t be attending OTAs. This led to a very pointed tweet from Heyward towards Dulac. It’s this kind of sensitivity that make us wonder if the contract negotiations could get ugly if things don’t go Cam’s way.
Next we discuss a possible return of Ju Ju Smith Schuster. Rumors are swirling that he could be cut soon by the New England Patriots. We discuss the pros and cons of a re-signing of Smith Schuster in Pittsburgh.
Up next is a look at the Steelers 2025 free agents, and who might get an extension this summer. Pat Freiermuth seems like the most likely candidate of all. A Justin Fields extension would be risky, but could benefit the team.
We wrap up the pod trying to figure out where Cam Heyward would fall on the all time Steelers players list. He’s definitely not top 10, and probably not top 15 either.
