Ep 109: Euro's Preview with Adam Miller aka OldFirmFacts
Jun 12, 2024 Episode 109

This week we're bringing you a Euros Preview as Marc chats to Adam Miller of OldFirmFacts about Scotland's upcoming campaign and whether they can progress to the knockout stages of an international men's tournament for the first time ever.

Plus, they chat about Scotland's training camp being situated next to the comicly-named Mount Wank, discuss Steve Clarke's job in overcoming the narrative of the "Negative Normans"/Glorious Failure (and why he sounds like an Aberdonian farmer despite being from Saltcoats), and give their predictions for the opening game against Germany and how they see the whole tournament panning out.  Plus, Adam shares his thoughts on people who criticise the "Anyone But England" attitude of the Tartan Army, and Marc recalls getting to meet the whole Scotland team as a kid after getting lost after a game at Hampden.

Marc's new stand-up special "Away From Here" is out now on the Some Laugh YouTube channel - where you can also find a video version of this & all past and future episodes: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxeugCQL5zyVhd7pCEAi9GA
