Episode 89: St. John's Defensive Clinic Leads to Sweep of Villanova

It was another first in forever type of night for St. John's as they handled Villanova easily, again, this time at home. In front of over 12,000 fans, St. John's swept the season series against Villanova for the first time since the 1992-1993 season. It was all led by the tremendous defense by St. John's that held the Wildcats to 16% shooting from deep, as Joel Soriano bounced back to his old ways scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds to power the Red Storm. St. John's improves to 13-7 on the season, 5-4 in Big East play with a week off to prepare for a road game against Xavier.
