THE HISTORIC LYNWOOD PODAST

EPISODE 135 with ALANA MIGNANO of

ELEVEN WINERY

Our guest today is the Co-owner of Bainbridge Island’s own ELEVEN WINERY, Alana Mignano. We brought Alana on the show today to talk about the largest winery, by production, on the Island, its history and their sponsorship of our upcoming GODFATHER FESTIVAL which begins a mere four days from today. An added bonus is that Alana has lived a half-mile from us since her parents migrated here when she was eight. She is a 2007 graduate of BHS, attended both he UW and Seattle Institute of the Arts and has been with Eleven since 2011, staring out as what Eleven so aptly names the position as a ‘Happiness Engineer” and working her way to ownership. We discuss the big upcoming Labor Day Weekend GODFATHER festival, their sponsorship thereof, the history of the winery and of course, movies in general. Eleven Winery has a pair of tasting locations you should visit not only for the sampling of their many blends, but also to partake in the plethora of special evens they host, music, the arts and the many food truck visits at the winery location on Day Rd. Their website gives you all the facts, all the wine club opportunities and all the reason to visit both locations. Be aware, however that the Winslow Way site, this time of year, is jam packed with visitors coming from every city, state and country on the planet. They make it easy to connect with the global wine loving community and we love therm for that.
