Andy

The benefits of technology and media are numerous for children as they make learning fun and an engaging experience for them. However, to maintain a healthy balance, it is crucial for parents to think about both the good and bad effects of media on children. While Smart Devices are an inseparable part of our lives, parents may want to know how much Smart Device time children should be allowed and what kind of content is appropriate for their children’s age group.  Smart Devices can offer educational content, entertainment, sports, and exposure to different cultures. On the other hand left unchecked, it can curb physical activity, impact social development, affect brain development and behavior, expose to vices and give a distorted view of the world.  In this episode Byron and Josh talk about the impact media had on their lives growing up.
