Junction City Justice
Tales of history and policing in and around Ogden City, Utah. From the railroad junction population explosion to the modern day. Electric Alley in all its shady glory and the evolution of 25th Street. A deep dive into the history of those who’ve walked Ogden’s streets and has their stories buried in its history. We are dusting off the stories, the events of Ogden’s past and in doing so, shaking the hands of these people who made Ogden the unique city that it is. We do exhaustive research to bring you these stories in the vernacular and parlance of the newspapers and documents written at the time.
We read directly from these articles and documents verbatim, and we do this because it is important to keep an unfiltered view of history. In doing so, we might repeat words or situations that may be offensive to the listener. We ask that you understand that we are trying to bring you the history as it was, good or bad, offensive, or not. It doesn’t represent the opinions of anyone at the Junction City Justice Podcast, it represents the person who wrote at the time it was written. Our view is that history is what it is and we will bring it to you unfiltered. We do not represent any law enforcement agencies, officially or unofficially. Our opinions are ours and history is what it is.
Now, sit back and enjoy!

And Now, The Rest of the Story..Tales from Ogden Utah Policing
Episode 11, The rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say. Ogden, Utah - We revisit our old friends Pender, Noble, Keeter, Burk, Stettler, Finn, Dyer, you get the idea. As the episode is titled, these are the rest of their stories. Stories that, for whatever reason, we weren't able to get to in the podcast. A season recap, a clip show, and a return to their sagas and stories, but with something of a twist. These are some new tales on our old companions. Why was Pender policing an Ogden vs Salt Lake baseball game? What was Stettler dealing with in 1976 that is oddly familiar in 2022? Did Keeter and Ballantyne get a last laugh on Harman Peery? Why was the Saintly Tim Dyer dubbed the Unluckiest Cop on the Force from the local media? How were Finn and Milligan always in the right place at the right time? All of this and more in this episode.
