Marshall Neil "Doc" White - The Path of a Learned Man, Part 1
In part one of a two-part series we cover the early life of Marshall "Doc" White. Through exhaustive research and an interview with his son, Ronald White, we piece together the story of Marshall "Doc" White's early life that started in the humble beginnings of Humboldt, Tennessee in 1909. It is an amazing journey from the sharecropper fields of Tennessee to the tight-knit church community of Muncie, Indiana and through the halls of Northwestern University's Institute of Surgery in Chicago. His amazing journey through medical school and his military service in World War II, with all the trials and tribulations he experienced, you can listen to why Marshall "Doc" White developed a drive to become the man who lifted a community in Ogden. This story is about the man who was Marshall Neil White. The man who was so much more than an Ogden Police Officer who lost his life in the line of duty.
