Zac Benton
Zac is a native Texan from the small town of Jarrell. He fled for freedom 2 weeks after high school and found himself on the yellow footprints at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. He served 3 tours in the infantry, earning the title of Scout Sniper. By sheer miracle he survived Iraq with his body intact, his pride buried deep in the desert, and ready to begin his civilian journey back home. However, a brief stint in the fire service left him with an itch to rejoin his brothers overseas as a medic and chase his dream of sailing around the world with his new wife, Angela. As his network grew, he landed a position in a Top Secret government program working for the DoD in Afghanistan. In 2021 he received an invitation to go to Colombia and try his luck in Season 14 of Naked and Afraid. Upon returning from the jungle, he learned of the withdrawal from Afghanistan and that he'd lost his job. He now dabbles in many things, one being this podcast.
