As Disney+'s latest Star Wars content to hit the small screen -- The Acolyte -- winds down its first season, despite its glowing reviews from critics, the series has earned the unfortunate distinction of receiving the lowest viewer score in its 50-year franchise history. (And that's saying something considering how risible the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special is).
The evidence is clear -- thousands of users have review-bombed it to send a clear and divisive message to Disney and the Star Wars franchise that goes above and beyond the efforts of "Gatekeeping" fans.
