Yes, axel Foley is back, got dug in 2024. Axel Foley is back, eddie Murphy playing Axel Foley. He ain't flipping over no cars, he ain't flipping over no windows, he ain't jumping to nothing. He's walking real slow Cause God dug it. He's older now. So now, the first Beverly Hills Cop was in 1984. The second was 1987. Third was in 1994. And now we got in 2024. That was 40 years ago from the first one. 40 years ago, yes, he plays, makes great movies, does great things and, yes, I am going to see it. I'm going to check them out. Fact of the day we're gonna be talking about Madam CJ Walker. December 23rd 1867 was her birthday. She was born Cerebreed Love. She became the first self-made female millionaire. How did she become that? She became that by selling and developing her own hair care products and she did cosmetics as well. Yes, that's right, she did cosmetics. So when you and your mirror putting on your, your blush, your eyelashes and everything else thanks you to Madam CJ Walker. And also, who she did it for was the black community. She went door to door helping other black people get themselves together, get them, get their look together and everything. So when you're in that chair getting them weaves, getting them braids, getting them that you that do and everything else done, remember. And also she had brothers and guess what her brothers are doing? They were barbers, so she had the whole gambit. So, brothers, when you're in that barbershop and they doing them, fades out. Uh, what ladies, when y'all getting them braids done and them them do's and them wigs and everything, and them hot curls and them them bump curls or whatever you else want to wash and press or whatever else you want to do. I am so excited that you decided to tune in to me. Today's topic we'll be talking about time. We'll be talking about a couple of things in time God's timing versus our timing versus when you pray. When does it really come? The reason I'm talking about this is because I heard a story today and it kind of got to me, not in a bad way, but in a good way to make me do better as a person with my time. So how the story goes is like this it's a billionaire young billionaire, not young, older billionaire. He has a apprentice, someone that he's training to take his position. He told him to be at the airport at 645. Yes, it's a private plane, but be at the airport at 645 on time my time, 645. Don't be late, don't be early, be there 645. Now the billionaire billionaire, sorry got there at 645. They got the plane ready to go. They said does anyone else want to be on the plane? He said yes. He showed them in here already. He told the pot, he told the stories. She said do you have everything you need? She said yes. He said wait by that door. When you see this man disheveled and running up, all sweaty and tired and everything, close the door. He's about to learn a valuable lesson, a valuable lesson in timing. And she said are you sure? He said I'm very sure. Young man comes around 7 o'clock, running, disheveled, got his towel off and sweating and running, and he got through the doors of security and led him through and, next to you know, she pushed that button. He looked at him, he bowed his head, he pushed that button and took off, floated off. The lesson was be on time, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not be late, for you are on other people's time. Respect their time. I say this to everything, I say this to everyone God's timing is not our timing. So, if you've ever heard this, we pray and we ask and we pray and we ask, and we pray and we ask and we want it right then and there, and it doesn't happen. But you always hear this he may not come when you want, but he'll be there right on time. That is a true statement. God is not gonna. God is not a magician that he can bang well, he can if you want to, but he doesn't do that. He works in his own timing, he works in his own ways. God's timing is no near being our assignment. Peter 2, peter 3 and A says one day, it's like 1,000 years to God. One day. So you spent Monday that's a thousand years to God like, wow, that's crazy. We, we, we, we, sometimes we, russell, I'm not gonna lie to you, me and myself, I love my bed, I love to sleep and I love to enjoy my rest. You know, you understand, hey, you gotta be up at this time, you gotta get up at that time. You supposed to be there, be on time. Because now you're disrespecting somebody, because if you, if somebody is waiting on you, that means you're on their time. Now there's no more your time, it's on their time. So you have to respect the people. Time around you to time is something you cannot get back. Don't care how much you put out, don't care how little you put out, don't care how much you put out. You cannot say you know what? I gave you an hour and 30 minutes, I want it back. No. You can't go and say, man, you know what? I spent 10 hours here and 30 minutes, give it to me no. So this is why the job comes in and they give you money for your time no, it's not all of what your time is really worth, but they do give you something for your time. But that time you would never get back. So I tell people, anytime that you go and do anything with somebody, respect the time that they give you. Someone is teaching you something. Respect that time that they give you, listen and learn, because that's something you can never get back. I was reading a Bible and it says in Colossians 4 and 5. It says be, be wise in the way you act with those that are not like believers. Use your time wisely To interact with them. That's another thing. Whatever you do, use your time wisely. We are here for a purpose. I know a lot of things. This podcast is is is a little bit of everything we talk about what's going on in the world. We talk about what's going on in sports, we talk about what's going on with me myself. But today I felt that we needed that. That Jesus kicked in and it's okay. I and like I keep telling people you don't like Jesus, hey, you don't like me. Today, only, I'm running Jesus and I'm loving it. It's a Thing that that that is is a wonderful thing to know that when you call the home, when you call on Jesus, he'll say he'll listen to you, he'll listen to you and he'll Every prayer you have ever gave to Jesus. Go back and look at it and you're gonna sit. You're gonna sit and sit and then look and say, well, he didn't answer that one. You can answer yourself. Why did he answer it? Did you need it or did you want it? Would you to take care of it? If he gave to you, was it dire strength? Me, see, god will give you everything that you need and then, on top of that, he will give you the desires of your heart. Now the word of that says at the end if you delight yourself in him, that means you have to love on him, be with him, talk to him Every day, even though he knows everything you think about, talk about your state and do you still want you to have that time with him and say, lord, father, right now? But I ask you, help me talk and talk to him. Conversation I keep telling everybody Conversation is key, no matter what you're doing life. If you're talking a guy, you have to have a conversation. If you're in a relationship, you have to come to have a conversation. If you have a business thing, you have to have a conversation with these people, have to talk to these people. I have a friend right now that is going through some things, that he's in love. He's in like really, really deep love, but he's shy and he won't go and talk to the young lady. I keep telling them, brother, if you talk to her, you will understand everything. If she likes you, if she don't, if she want a relationship with you, if you don't, conversation he Got signed. Guys, time is precious. God's time is no one near being our time. He may, he. His time is quick, boom, boom, boom. Our time sometimes drags us be. When God tells you to go somewhere, go somewhere. When God tells you to do something, do it. His time, our time. When we are on other people's time. I keep saying it, I'm gonna stress this out from talking to the young people respect everybody's time. A lot of young people don't want to respect people's time Because they think someone owes them something. No, no, we, I, no one, we're all here from purpose. Our job is to find that purpose, do that purpose and in that, in that mean time, in that time we're searching for that purpose, be good to one another, be wonderful to one another, be gracious to one another, love one another. This is the thing that we have to do. God himself will never leave us, nor, for sake, when we pray to him. We might not get that prayer, we might not get what we want right there now, but keep praying. He keep asking, he fasted. Keep believing, keep hoping it will come. Anything that's quickly game is quickly blown away. But once you get it and you understand it and you know that God gave it to you on, cherished it, gonna love it. Hmm, any companies, people got out there, put God first in that company, you'll go straight to the top. Anything in any in adventurous, make sure what you inventing, whatever you inventing, put God in. Put God all the way. In this podcast, huh, this podcast is brought to you by Jesus. Who's my proof? Hmm, now I'm gonna talk about to come to talk to you about mental health and the timing of that. We, as men, last November, in In 2023, it was men's mental health. Not a lot of people knew that. It wasn't advertised, it wasn't pushed, it wasn't, it wasn't done anywhere like that. The reason I say this, because a lot of men, you can ask the man right now how do you feel? Now I'm good, I think great. Pray for your brothers, pray for your friends. Pray for your friends. They can be going through a storm and would never tell you, but you, you should be so linked in with God and linked in with them as friends that you know something is going on. The thing about is this we try, we deal with ourselves a lot. We have to let ourselves go here ourselves, the guy so we can do what everybody else around. The thing about it is we, as people, need each other. We didn't need each other, we wouldn't be here, we would not be here. I Need you, you need me, we need each other. I need you to pray for me, not pray on me, but pray for me. Wow, see the thing about it, we, we, we have to understand what God has done down here. God put people on earth for love, for for family. He is a together person and everything. And and the devil himself is for destruction. He is for division. That's why so many divorces around. You can sit down right now and talk to a woman, talk to a man who, who'd been together for years and years to come, and then say, saving together 40 years. Well, you hear on our news all the time Uh, couple of them together 40 years. Now that divorce why? Irrecordable, irrecordable, whatever, couldn't get it together However, uh, irrecordable. Well, y'all tell me the right word. So, but what happened? Why have you ever really sit down and talk to each other and like, really, why are we? Why are we really giving it up? Is it the money? Is it to you, so to speak? Do you not love me. Is it? What is? Somebody tell me something I I had to for myself. So that one I would, you know, been every everybody. If you didn't listen to the podcast, you know about my marriage and everything. We finished my paperwork, my paperwork, our paperwork of Thursday, friday, somewhere around there, and, uh, once again a lot of emotions came up. You know, you've been with a person 20, 30 years or whatever. I'm gonna have you. You're not just gonna be like, okay, I'm signing you the hello. No, it's some emotions coming up, even though you know that you and her are done. You, you know you and her are done. You know it's not going to come through or whatever. The timing. That's once again that timing. That timing is critical because, because how she feels is not how you felt, or how she feels is not how she felt, and no one wants to talk that Communication. No one wants to tell somebody how they really feel. Everyone wants to hide somebody behind something and not tell the truth, or or or or someone's feelings man, people, ladies, boys, girls, young ladies, young men, whoever's out here listening to me, if you are in a relationship with a person, sit them down and talk to them. Let them know how you feel and what you feel, and if that person is not responsive to what you listen, what you, what you hear, your feelings, they don't need to be around you Because it's time out for having to fight every time, all this, all this fighting, all this arguing, all this, guys, we, we're not gonna agree, but we can agree to disagree and honestly, honestly, honestly. When you fight you supposed to or not, I want to say fight, I will say argue. When you argue, you don't flip, lay down and be angry with the first. What about you don't wake up Then what? Then another person is feeling sad, bumble and all messed up. How about getting this stuff together out in the open, letting it all go and say, hey, this is how I feel, this is why I feel like this, let's talk about it, okay then. Well, you feel like this because it is this why I feel, because it is Okay now, mean you don't got this out in open. How about this? How about let's come to a conclusion so this won't happen again? I Just gave you marriage 101 boom. Conversation is key. Love is key, that timing that you have with each other. Cherish that. If you got some kids, cherish that time you got with them when they one and two and three and ten up your house and saying Jai, jai, go, go. Or a crapping everywhere, throwing up everywhere if they sick, or spitting bottles on bottles. Cherish that time, Because when you turn back around at 10, you turn back around at 15 screaming mom, you must in my life, oh, my god, you know. Or you turn back around it. They encourage someone. You say, wow, where's it? The time go? The Bible says cherish the time, cherish it. God gives us time to do things. It is rushed, or do we rush it? Have you ever seen somebody? Always in a hurry? Oh, what are you experiencing in a rush? Nothing. What are you experiencing? Have you seen a flower? Have you see how you smell the flower? Have you smell some coffee brewing? Have you seen a sunset? No, or rise, I'm just talking. I'm just talking. I'm letting, I'm getting things right now off my chest and also I'm pushing some things out that that I really would like to happen. Um, san Francisco and the Tennessee chief. We cut your hands to Tennessee. You know I miss San Francisco, but had I cut my hands and said Tennessee, you did a good job, good work, good working home, good work, good work, good work. Now, my whole thing is this is and once again to Kevin, see, I Deeply, deeply, deeply, from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry of what happened at your parade. It should never have happened. That was a time to celebrate, to Once again a time to celebrate, a time that is Joyous, a time of love, a time of saying, hey, yeah, we did it, we did it, we brought this back to our city Something's good. Someone had to have their own agenda. To the family that lost the loved one, my condolences also. It is a sad day when you can't even go to a parade and be safe. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, everybody in the world, we are here together. You're not here to hurt. We have to love each other. We have to help each other. We're here to Be together. We have a time on this earth. Why make it hard on each other? Why not make it easy? Why not my, my looks? I look at um, I'm in California and I look at the homeless on the street and I see so many empty buildings and so many places that they can go and I know I don't know how much money the city is getting for their homeless, the homeless relief, to help them. But I believe that some way, somehow, that you can get these people off the street, you can get these people Help. Or you can get these people not just a shirt or a A meal and the thing about for Thanksgiving, christmas, the New Year, they can eat all day long. What happens to the rest of the day, like, and some people out there that is homeless, that's not on drugs, they just have a bad break in life. It happens. Some of us right now one check away from being homeless. Think about it. You're one check that, checked that didn't come. That blame a little knocking on children. Hey, man, can I have my money and a rent out here? It's crazy, but you know it's, it's, it's something that we have to do. We got to help each other. You got to help each other. You know it was a, it was a long time ago, the song we tried and touch someone. Hey, make this world a better place if you can. If you can, if you can, if you know what to do, if you see someone in me, help, trust me, you'll feel better and, believe it or not, believe it or not, it comes back around. It comes back around If you give some money or somewhere, it comes back around. I was listening to a Richie Rich. He's a rapper and I know pretty good rapper. I like him. What's crazy about it was he said that this life thing is nothing but a mirror. So that means whatever you are doing. So if you want more money, give more money, it comes back. If you want to help, give help, it comes back. If you want love, give love, it comes back. Whatever you do, whatever the good things you want, do the good things. All good things will come back to you. And that is true. I have seen it. I have seen great things that that I said oh man, I did that a month ago and this is the result of it. I want to allow people to do so much great things in your life. All you got to do is open up, pray to them, pray to them, and it's not one of them. Oh, you got happy big birds. Some people say I don't know how to pray if you're not talking on pray Father right now, the name of Jesus Christ. But I ask you to help me. Help me in this situation. Whatever situation is, let him know it, lord, and tell them what you want out of this situation. The Bible says Write it and make it plain so he can understand. Write it and make it plain. Things that you want in life, goals that you have in life, right about right amount, put them out. Make it plain to pray on it, fast on it. Ask God to do it, believe in it and believe in yourself because God believes it. It's so much out in the world that God has for you, me and everybody else that's listened to me Go get it. Go get it, go get it. Go get it, go get it. Don't let nobody stop you, go get it. God is with you. Go get it. He is with you. Go get it. Ah, his timing. His timing is wonderful Because God gives it right when you write on the date, right on time, at the peak that it's up. Okay, oh, I need a thousand dollars. Boom, how you get. I don't know how I got in my account, but it's there, thank God, you know. Say God loves us so much. God, look, he gave his son. I did a. I was a church once and I, the preacher, was just preaching, going on, going on, going on, and what caught me was this he said God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. He said do you love God good enough to give us something for him? Give us your life, give the smoke and give us your drink and give your horn. Give up everything that's not like God, or or or or there for God, or going to help you. It's a wonderful thing and and I Never want you to think that, hey, well, he's speaking, jesus, so he's going to be the best of the best of the best. He don't make no mistakes. I'm human. I'm human. That means I'm gonna make me say, I probably make me say, before I get up just off this thing, so this is what I say to people and I'm gonna put put I've seen somebody showed the inside of TDJ church now, since Everything that has happened, everything that has happened, and it was kind of bear, like really really bear, and I hear this saying so long, the same people that put you on a pedestal Will be the same people that have put you in the basement. So Let God raise you up. Let God raise you up. I'm not gonna speak on what. What was said about? Well, about mr Jakes, because he's still a man of God. We don't talk about that. We don't do that. We let God deal with him. He just he's still a man of God who prays for our people, because once again, he's human. Yes, he's a. He's a man of God. Yes, he makes mistakes. Yes. Why he does that? Because he is because he became a pastor or bishop or an elder or whatever he is in the church Does not mean, once he said I'm gonna take the office, being perfect fell upon him. No, it don't work like that. It don't work like that. The devil is knocking in the door 10 times more than knocking at yours, and I know we all hope so. What I'm saying about that is this if you see him or if you hear anything about him, don't get into it. Let God deal with it and walk away. If you're gonna get into it, pray about it. That's how we get to it. Pray about it. Ask God for how to pray for him. I got to lift him up. So this is this is what I say. I've been, I've been, I've been wanting to do a story on TV day, and Every time I get the thing with the paperwork and everything, word. God has said that's my child. Don't do it, don't do it. So guess what you think? I didn't listen. Don't do it. I ripped it right on up. I Ripped it up and it cuz it's. It's that I understand it. I understand, now more than ever, that's God's child, that, hey, you might have a mistake, that's his kid, let him spank him. What am I thinking? Somebody else kids one. But I need you, that's right. Don't need to do that. God knows, and God can do way better than I can. God knows, everything would have happened when it happened how it happened. So To the jakes, I'm praying for you.
