Self-Control

We’re building on our topic from last week. Last week we talked about the dangers of seeking control outside of ourselves. External control is not what we were created for. However, there is a type of control that God gifts us. Today we are going to talk about the gift of self-control and how we can take control by controlling who we put our hope and trust in. 

Journal Questions:

• What areas are you lacking self-control in?
• When you lack self-control, how do you tend to respond? 
• How can you make the choice to control which path you walk in during life? (Think the path that the world gives vs. the path the Jesus shows us).
• What would life look like if you made the choice in each moment to put your faith in Jesus?
