Speaker 1:

We're here, we are here. That's the open.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that was so awkward.

Speaker 1:

Yep, it was.

Speaker 2:

I wish it recorded from the start of the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, because, I swear to God, I feel like I clam up and I get hot. I'm like, oh no, oh no.

Speaker 1:

So what we learned from this is that it literally records. It starts recording at like three.

Speaker 2:

Oh, does it.

Speaker 1:

Because in two podcasts in a row I heard two one and I was talking about it.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, interesting.

Speaker 1:

So you get the little insight into what it's like, what happens with Brooke and I, right before it starts.

Speaker 2:

Before we talk about anything. I totally forgot to ask you on the last one how is your brother's foot?

Speaker 1:

So he's doing much better. He's walking on it. I've seen a photo of it recently and it's healed. I should say it's healing. I should say that it's healing Much better than what it was, but yeah, it's cyanara.

Speaker 2:

Did he have dissolving stitches or does he have to go back and have them take out the stitches and stuff?

Speaker 1:

I don't remember honestly. And after this, when we're done, I'm going to find out, because I'm curious.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know the aftercare of losing a toe, Like do you go back to the hospital?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm going to guess that it was real stitches for something like this, Because I know the dissolving stitches say this carefully, I'm not a doctor are usually for more minor injuries when it just barely needs to be stitched. I know, for heavy stitches I think they traditionally like to use real stitches. Okay, Gross Makes sense.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I've just been thinking about it. I'm like uh.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no.

Speaker 2:

I don't feel like. I feel I also, when I listen back to the story, I think I feel like I was super insensitive about it sometime, like maybe it's just my brain being like that. I was like, oh my God, you know. And I'm like when I listen back to it, I'm like that's Chris's brother.

Speaker 1:

No, I mean, it's a wild story.

Speaker 2:

It is wild.

Speaker 1:

You didn't learn about it until I told you.

Speaker 2:

No, like literally, in the moment of the show I had no pride. Yeah, it was just like, oh my God. Yeah, but no, I've been thinking about it.

Speaker 1:

I'm glad he's doing it, he's doing okay, he's doing, he's doing okay.

Speaker 2:

Is this fiancee scarred for life?

Speaker 1:

I think she might be. Okay, I think that I mean, it's pretty disturbing to be unknowingly looking down and going what am I looking at? And it's half a toe Of your significant other nonetheless.

Speaker 2:

Have you heard all of the TikTok, the icks that people catch, Like what a specific ick to catch is when you find your husband's toe in the middle of the loft. I know Terrible, it's crazy, I know Even that I sound so insensitive, but I'm wishing the best for your brother and his fiancee.

Speaker 1:

So people are going to have to see what I do live here. As I'm looking at myself on the screen, I'm like I'm looking like really down. I'm going to lift the screen up, but I want, brooke, while I'm awkwardly moving my screen around here, if you're actually watching the video, what do you want to tell us about? To start today, there's a story you have.

Speaker 2:

It's not really a story, but I'm loving your hand on the hip thing going on over there. It's really I'm loving that. I just own it For some reason that feels comfortable at the moment.

Speaker 1:

That's like my thinking hand placement. I just do this and look really cool, Really really cool.

Speaker 2:

No, you look like you got some serious, too, going on. That's so funny. Well, I'm really excited. It's not really like a story, but I'm excited. People who know me know that I have a little brother and he's like my BFF. I love him and a few years ago, me and my best friend we flew down to Disney when he started his college at Disney and we surprised him for his birthday. No, sorry, we flew down to Florida when he started going to college in Florida and we surprised him by taking him to Disney for his birthday. I think it was his 19th birthday or something. And now the roles have reversed and now we get to go down and Tyler is an intern at Disney, so he gets to get us into the parks for free.

Speaker 2:

So you know if you're an older sibling and you you know you're like I don't know if I want to spend the money. They'll get you back someday, you know they'll get you back.

Speaker 1:

They'll get you back. So, are you planning going soon?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, we're planning on going. I think next. Yeah, I think yes, next week. I always get so scared about, like saying when I'm leaving, but I guess when this comes out I'm not gonna reference when we will be there or not.

Speaker 1:

But I always get nervous about being like not gonna be at our house that week.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, no, we're excited, we're going down. Didn't really wanna go down in the middle of summer, but it's funny because right after we booked our tickets he got the notification that he's gonna be able to extend his stay there and intern until next, I think next April. So if I had just waited one week I wouldn't have to go down when it feels like Satan's toenails.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that'll be. It's pretty guaranteed it's gonna be warm.

Speaker 2:

So it's gonna be pretty hot, but I'll check in with you before that so that you can help me prep. As far as how hot it really like it's like, I'll probably check in with you and be like so am I gonna die or will I be all right?

Speaker 1:

Well, it depends on what your definition of die is gonna be, and I can give you an answer.

Speaker 2:

You got any info off the top of your head about what it's looking like right now.

Speaker 1:

Without even looking at anything. I'm gonna go to guarantee that the humidity is gonna be high because it's July and Florida is surrounded by water, so and the sun angle is high, so it's going to be hot no matter what midday.

Speaker 2:

And I chose to get bangs in the middle of the summer, so I'm just gonna have to deal with a sweaty forehead.

Speaker 1:

You're gonna be dealing with a sweaty forehead. It's gonna be awesome. Since you've got those bangs, you've been liking them. You've been happy with them.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm always like it's one of those things where you can't go back, so you kind of just have to embrace it until they grow out. But I'm giving them my own trims and there are days when I feel like they look good, and then there are days when I feel like what did you fucking?

Speaker 2:

do so I'm assuming that when I'm in Florida, most of it is gonna be on the side of what the fuck did you do? Because when I get hot and sweaty they stick to my forehead, and when they stick to my forehead they're even longer, so they go right in my eyeballs like this. So it'll be an adventure. Hopefully Chad's still attracted to me after he sees. And the other thing is that it's funny because in the last podcast we were talking about New Orleans when I went to New Orleans with my sister and my mom my mom when she gets hot, she turns like super bright red. Oh, we talked about this. She turns like super bright red, and I get that from my mom and me and my sister.

Speaker 1:

We were talking about running and I was like I hate people that I don't really hate. We were walking around with the races.

Speaker 2:

Yep, I think we went in the middle of July and we were walking around New Orleans and I was sweaty and hot and I was super humid and my sister turned around and she goes oh my God, you are mom, because I was just. It's a super red dripping sweat, it was so bad. Did I say that on the other podcast? I don't think you did. I think we just talked about.

Speaker 1:

We just talked about races, yeah, and running, and specifically that was like finishing a race and seeing people in the photos of the photo finish and they look untouched, untouched and they won.

Speaker 2:

I'm fair.

Speaker 1:

And they're in like first, second, third place. And then there's me in the back of the pack, happy with just some thing run and I look like I'm gonna die.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, literally it's the hospital evidence. It's like, oh, that's what he looked like before he came in.

Speaker 2:

That makes sense no reason. He's on the table, yeah, so I'm excited about that, even though I'm gonna be super hot. So I probably won't be taking a lot of photos of myself because I can only imagine I don't know it's gonna be crazy, but he's really excited to have us and he's. I told him I want him to map out like all of the things that we need to see. So now that he's got like the insider's view, he can kinda he's gonna make us reservations at, like, the Star Wars lunch place, which I guess is like a really, oh, very cool yeah, none of us like Star Wars, but he was working in the hotel and he was like it's freaking awesome, so we're really excited to go.

Speaker 1:

Oh, is that actually? I wonder, if that's, is it the Star Wars hotel Cause that's closing, so you may, you should definitely get in, if you can do that.

Speaker 2:

The Star Wars hotel is closing. He loved it.

Speaker 1:

Well, there yeah.

Speaker 2:

Is it really?

Speaker 1:

There, cause it was the. It's like their two day or three night I don't know if it's two night, three night stay where like it's the experience, like you stay in the hotel and it's like each day is different and there's activities and it's like you're part of it, but it was there. They're not gonna be running it after a certain point this year, I think, cause it's just I'm going to go to get it was really expensive.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's dumb, expensive, dumb expensive, where I again, it was a I think it was a decision. They thought more people were going to be apt to pay for it and I'm going to go to guess they're not. So there was the initial flood of people that you know Star Wars, heavy people but what I've heard is that, like it's cool but it's not worth. Like at the grand or something, tyler said it's awesome. I believe it. No, I absolutely believe it.

Speaker 2:

He was like working in there is like incredible.

Speaker 1:

It must be yeah.

Speaker 2:

Cause you feel like you're actually in space.

Speaker 1:

That's very, very cool. Yeah, I will say that the Star Wars. Have you been there? That's like the actual Star Wars themed land at Walt Disney World.

Speaker 2:

No, Galaxy's Edge is what they call it, the last. I don't even know if it was there when we went last time. The last time we went I was it was 2019.

Speaker 1:

So was it there then? I don't think so. No, no, no. So I haven't.

Speaker 2:

There was like one ride.

Speaker 1:

I think there was like one ride that was like Star Wars but, it wasn't that one's been around for a while, yeah, decades Cause we did it when we were a kid. My little brother, kevin, who's had the toe incident. He was probably like eight. Maybe I'd have to go back and look and we always Are we talking about the roller coaster no, it's like an indoor ride.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

It's like the. You're like, it's like a, you know, not virtual reality, but you're looking at a big screen and the whole like car you're in moves around, and it's like you're flying around in space.

Speaker 2:

I also haven't been on rides in like kind of a long time, so I'm like a little nervous that my old lady body is going to be like okay, no, don't, you can't do that anymore.

Speaker 1:

Oh, they're not that bad, they're cause they're not like roller coasters, they're. They're like oh no, those are what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2:

We're going to go on roller coasters, but I'm like scared.

Speaker 1:

They have the new Tron ride too. That. That looks pretty cool when it's like the, it's like you're on a like a motorcycle bike, but it's a roller coaster, so like you're leaning, like you're holding on.

Speaker 2:

Are you a Disney adult?

Speaker 1:

I'll go there and enjoy. So okay, kelly loves Disney.

Speaker 2:

I love Disney too. Okay, Kelly's a.

Speaker 1:

Disney adult. Kelly's a Disney adult. I love Disney, I like the rides, but I'm more.

Speaker 2:

I like the I like your face. You went like this, you went.

Speaker 1:

I love Disney, no, no, no. Yeah, it sounds terrible, it's not. I really do enjoy when we go on, but we have gone enough times where we're like even Kelly's, like you know. We can take a break from it and there are certain rides there. I will say this Disney World does, or I should say that all the parks I would have supposed, but I've only been to Disney World. They do people management the best, like there's all. You never feel like no one knows what they're doing or people are upset Like everyone looks relatively happy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. They do the rides I mean, how could you not? You can go to the parks when you're not at work. I know it's so cool. That's all Tyler does. He calls me. He's like hey, I'm at Epcot. I'm like, oh, lucky you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there are a ton of cool things that you can do there. When you wait in line, like all the lines are like themed and there's things to do, like it's always there's always something going on. The food is pretty good and, yeah, the experience overall is very good, whereas Universal Studios they don't do as well with people management.

Speaker 1:

There was like and we did a Disney a few years in a row and then finally I went to Universal with Kelly and I was like cause I really want to do some of these roller coasters, cause they got more more intense rides versus, like you know, rides that are family friendly, I'd say. But Disney is very much, that's pretty much, you know, that's. All they have is a lot of family friendly with slightly more intense rides, like Space Mountain.

Speaker 2:

Universal's a little spooky.

Speaker 1:

Universal can be spooky and the rides are real, like their new roller coaster with the called the Velosa coaster.

Speaker 2:

That is an intense roller coaster. Can you tell me about that? Is that the? Is that like with Velosa? So dinosaurs?

Speaker 1:

Jurassic Park themed Yep. It's straight up and it's-.

Speaker 2:

Is that the one where the T-Rex is like over your thing?

Speaker 1:

No, that's the, that's the, the flume one, that's the long one.

Speaker 2:

Dude, I know that stuff is fake, but I still am like on the off chance that this robot like either malfunctions and like the head comes off or it's still scary.

Speaker 1:

It is. I was afraid of Jurassic Park when I was a kid and I did that ride as an adult and it freaked me out Because you it's themed like you go through, it starts off and it's it's like the movie. It's like it starts off, you're going through and it's all the like nice dinosaurs. So you're on a log flume and you just kinda tour around and it's like the Brontosaurus and like you know that they're, you know, adorable, cute and it's it's all part of the ride. And then all of a sudden it like part of the theme.

Speaker 2:

It goes faster.

Speaker 1:

It goes a little faster and it's it's part of. It's like you're in the movie and it's like the voice talking and things like oh no, like something went wrong, blah, blah, blah. And like all of a sudden you start going through and you see like little raptor dinosaurs like peek out of the bushes and go back and it's. And then you go and go into the building which is dark and it's like the lights went out, so it's like flashing lights. And then, yeah, when you get to the top, literally a Transaurus Rex head like is right there.

Speaker 2:

No no.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, no, it's freaky, it's, it's very cool, but that's, that's, in my mind, minimal compared to the their new roller coaster, which is like your. As Kelly told me after it was done, she was like as soon as it started, she was like I don't know, jesus, take the wheel, because I've got nothing. This is, yeah, it was. It's intense, it's very.

Speaker 2:

It's one of Wait, wait, wait. So do I, okay. First of all, since it sounds like you've gone down there no, no, he's crawling in her sleep. Since it sounds like you've gone down there more than I have probably ever in my whole life.

Speaker 1:

I've only been to Universal once in the past. I've only been there twice my whole life.

Speaker 2:

There's a free boardwalk at Universal, though, right With, like, the restaurants and stuff like that. Okay, cause I wanted to take Chad there, cause I don't think he's ever been to Universal.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's outside of the park, it's just outside and it's like it has like Margaritaville. Yep, it's got like your big chain restaurants but it's like I thought I remembered that there's a big movie theater, like there's things to do, like in that little. It's like a shop center and then at the end of it is the entrance to Universal Studios.

Speaker 2:

It's like the Universal version of Disney Springs. Yes, that's exactly what it is.

Speaker 1:

Yep Disney Springs is bigger. Disney Springs is much bigger. This is much. It's much smaller, but it's still got like two levels, multiple places to eat and things like that.

Speaker 2:

I'm just ready for some good food, but okay so tell me about that Well, before I lose the thought. Kelly's gonna have to give me some recommendations on like her favorite things to do. If you guys go like relatively often she can tell you everything.

Speaker 1:

I've got a couple of people that can tell you everything A few of my brides.

Speaker 2:

Well, my brother, but then a few of my brides too, thank you. Some of my brides are like Disney adults dude and they plan like every single family, which I'm not hating on anything, I'm not yucking anybody's young like. If you love it, you love it. I'm I'm happy for that.

Speaker 1:

But I haven't heard that phrase in a while. I'm not getting anybody's young Yep.

Speaker 2:

But okay, so tell me, like what made here's? The thing is like I I Always think to myself I think I'm too, I think I like have this problem with like being too real and I can't separate like fairy tales, like I'll watch things like the bachelor right, or like the bachelorette, and when I see these women on the bachelorette and I'm like I Wish for just like a minute I could adopt that mentality of like life can be a fairy tale. You know, like I wish I could do that. But I swear to God, the fucking second I get on one of those roller coasters, like if, if, the sound came over and it was like oh my god, oh no, we're gonna have to go faster my brain is I can't.

Speaker 2:

I get so scared, but I can't. In my real life, I can't be like. Fairy tales are real, but I get on there and I'm fully immersed in that, like I'm like. But what if there is a real one?

Speaker 1:

you know so going. Oh my god, so I was hilarious now is envisioning you on this ride and like just some, some like Kid, like a 12 year old who's finally brave enough to get on the ride but but gets separated because of how they arrange the seats and sits next to you and you look down and be like it's actually gonna happen.

Speaker 2:

No, I could totally see myself doing that too, because I would freak myself out so much that it would scare the kid yeah oh yeah, people be screaming for dear life.

Speaker 1:

The passengers watching from the ground, all the people like just seeing the roller coaster go by, be like, oh my god like.

Speaker 2:

What's wrong with that woman? Is that woman having a psychotic Chad? Better be ready, but okay. So tell me about the roller coaster and what made it so scary. The what's it? What's it called? Again.

Speaker 1:

The Velocicoster. Velocicoster yeah, it actually wasn't so it's not so. Disney rides are really. They're like really themed, like you go on and it's all part of the story and such, and this, the Velocicoster, definitely like, has some of that, but it's mostly just roller coaster like.

Speaker 1:

It's just a scary roller coaster because it's one of the ones where and a lot of them are doing this nowadays, because I've been on multiple recently where, instead of your traditional the chain, you just go. You know all the roller coasters energy is simply derived by gravity, where it just pulls you up on a chain and and then you go down at the top of the hill and all the spins and loops and everything is simply based on that one Pull to the top and you're just riding it around. Now they're getting really creative with coasters by, instead of going up a hill, they're using propulsion methods where and that's what this one does where you get on now.

Speaker 1:

And it's like on both, so like there's a whole story again of like, while you're waiting in line, that you're like at Jurassic World, at the park, and then all of a sudden so like Chris Pratt is on the screen and the actors from the movie and it's all. But it's like a different story. It's like ever so slightly different for the ride. And on your left, when you get in the seat, they put you in and then you go on a track that's a straightaway, and then you're still inside the building and on both sides are you are like these screens but they look kind of real, like they're like their gates and but they're but their projector screens. So they say on the ride like, oh, let them out.

Speaker 1:

And then, like the gates open and on both sides of you you see the Raptors run by you, on your left and right on the screen, and when the last one runs by you, the roller coaster just fires just straight like full you know full speed ahead. You get launched like a like straight-up propulsion method and it you go Really fast, really fast. In a second like I'm sure it's not a second, but two to three seconds You're, you are accelerating Incredibly fast and the ride is full of twists and turns and you feel the G's the whole time and I Truly thought Kelly was going to come out of her skin when that ride was happening, because it was she was, I think on the Me too Kelly, me too yeah.

Speaker 1:

It was a, a, definitely a. As soon as it started, I was like oh God, oh no, this is not good and. But but I, at the same time, you're like, also like, wow, this is, this is incredibly fast, this is, this is a lot of a, this is a lot of energy on this ride. And then there's one point at the end where it goes over the lake in Universal, because the park is, the whole park is around like a big pond, I'd say. And where they have the.

Speaker 2:

Jurassic Park ride right. Not the Jurassic, no, the the Jaws ride in the in that big pond right. Well, maybe I think the Jaws ride was in the old this.

Speaker 1:

Two parks in Universal there's the regular one and then there's Islands of Adventure.

Speaker 2:

And I. This is an Island of Adventure, and anyway the ride as it comes to its end.

Speaker 1:

It's like final point. It like does this big loop and then when you come around the loop, you're going like down into the lake and then it twists at the surface. So you, you literally look like you pull back, it looks like you're about to just go right into the lake.

Speaker 2:

It's such a weird feeling.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it very well done, very well, well done. But it was when it was over. It was like I don't even know if I can do that again because I think I'm too old. Like I had like a headache just from the twists and the turns.

Speaker 2:

Like the whiplash kind of.

Speaker 1:

Little bit, little bit. It was more over just my head, because you're like kind of you're locked in but you're bothered. It's just a lot of G's, You're just twisting and turning at pretty high speeds. So wildly impressed, wildly impressed with the ride. But yeah, if you're not a roller coaster person, don't do that.

Speaker 2:

Chad, if you're listening, we're not doing it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry, Chad Never mind.

Speaker 2:

It's really like super light easy super when you hear the screams.

Speaker 1:

it's just people having a good time, they're just yeah.

Speaker 2:

No, what really? Gets me is the, the going into the water and the turn because you like me, I don't, I don't, I don't fuck with water, I don't do that. Like I if there's just like the tiniest little thing that could go wrong on that thing and that turn doesn't quite turn and I'm going in the water.

Speaker 1:

You would be unhappy.

Speaker 2:

No, I can't do it you yeah that.

Speaker 1:

So I'm sorry, Chad Does Chad like coasters?

Speaker 2:

I don't know, that's something that I should know about my husband, I think. I think he does. We've gone to like six flags and stuff, but we've never gone. We've gone to six flags but it was kind of like I don't know we're going to get the fast passes this time, because I feel like every time we go somewhere with rides it's kind of like mostly in line, like we're just like literally standing in line forever and we might get to ride.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this time of it, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Especially if you get older. He's a thrill seeker, so he probably really loves it, but I'm a little less brave than I used to be.

Speaker 1:

When you get older. That's what happens sometimes, and then I think I'm going to go to guess that when you, when you are much older, maybe it reverses and you're like fuck it. Fuck it. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Cause I think most of what my like hang up is is, like my neck, I'm afraid to get off of a ride and be like, ow, I need to go to the hospital.

Speaker 1:

It's. Yeah. If you're a nerve, I would definitely say don't start with the Velocicoster. Then it is. It is any. I would label it as a eight out of eight and a half out of 10 for intensity, absolutely so.

Speaker 2:

All right, Well, uh, noted, but yeah, tell Kelly that I want, I want. I've been trying to pull one thing from each person that I know as a Disney adult, as far as like, okay, what do you think I have to do? So, if you ask Kelly, ask Kelly tonight, like if you could give her one thing to do while she's there.

Speaker 1:

I will ask her that.

Speaker 2:

I will ask her. I mean, I can also ask you, cause you've probably gone with Kelly multiple times, so you know what she likes, but I do, but I actually I'm going to I haven't asked that question, particularly like one thing.

Speaker 1:

One day, what are you going to do? Like for me?

Speaker 2:

even if it's just a restaurant, like if it's something or you guys are like you got, you have to go to this restaurant. Um, I'm happy to do it. I think we're going to have two days at Disney, and then we have two more days to play with.

Speaker 1:

The one piece of advice, then would be if you want to do a restaurant, reserve it way ahead of time like ahead of time, tyler's trying to get reservations to that restaurant this week. Okay, good, yeah, cause if you try to do it in the day of, you won't get it. So it's just that's crazy. There's certain things there that will still be open, but it's mostly going to be like the fast stuff.

Speaker 1:

Fast stuff. Yeah, I will say animal kingdom has the best food for the fast food, and I say that. But my interpretation of best is they've got a more. They've got healthier options or I don't want to eat fried food all the time.

Speaker 2:

So they have your interpretation and my interpretation is very different, very different.

Speaker 1:

I mean I enjoy, I enjoy a good. You know, they just have. They just have a variety of options that I think are more spread out versus, like the Mickey pretzels and the ice cream. So which I'm, I'm all about, it's fine.

Speaker 2:

I was just going to say, hey, I love, I love them. Sounds great, Sounds great. No, but I'm excited cause Chad hasn't gone since he was like, like, a like, a little little little kids.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's cool then I know I'm like really good balance now too, for like adults and kids, where the the Star Wars land in general is for, it's for adults Like well, we're going to try to do like the drink around the world too. I want to see if like yeah.

Speaker 2:

I've never done that cause I've. I've always gone like I don't know with people or when I was too young just be careful.

Speaker 1:

It's easy to go ham and go crazy Like we did that.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you get hit fast.

Speaker 1:

They know their drinks aren't incredibly strong. It's just. It's just the sheer volume, if you, you know you hit all the places and some of them are sugary and it's just a little. I mean, I want to say 10.

Speaker 2:

And that's an eccot right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I wish I could go through all the countries, cause there's I don't know, 10 sounds right. It's probably somewhere right there, but started Mexico. That's rule number one.

Speaker 2:

Started in Mexico, don't start in.

Speaker 1:

Canada, cause everyone goes, you'll be going backwards.

Speaker 2:

Why.

Speaker 1:

Um, you'll be just going against the traffic going against everybody.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay, starting in Canada, and that's an eccot right.

Speaker 1:

No, started in Mexico.

Speaker 2:

Oh sorry, haha, no, started in Mexico.

Speaker 1:

Okay, started in Mexico.

Speaker 2:

That's generally my go to anyway, but I don't know what they have in Canada, I don't even remember now.

Speaker 1:

I would think beer or something, molson beer, yeah, and that's going to fill you up.

Speaker 2:

Yep, yep, um. I hope everybody was excited about listening to our Disney podcast now that we're Disney adults.

Speaker 1:

We had talked about this all the week. Actually, what we should do is invite people who are Disney experts on this. That would be great.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

That would be good, get them.

Speaker 2:

Next time one of us is going on a trip, we have to like put out a poll like who's been there? All right.

Speaker 1:

We'll be there in 15 minutes and then we'll Great idea, that's a great idea.

Speaker 2:

Because then it'll give other people like an insight, you know.

Speaker 1:

Let's do it.

Speaker 2:

All right, let me know what Kelly says as far as where we need to go, but I will start in Mexico with a hopefully spicy mark.

Speaker 1:

That is like I'm trying to think. If they have the spicy mark, they should. They have a big variety.

Speaker 2:

So if not there, they've got to have one somewhere.

Speaker 1:

Good place to go actually. So when you this is my one thing and then I'll be done. Okay, in Mexico, when you get there, there is a you can get a margarita, like on the outside, and they're like they've got a like main food court area. You can't miss it. And then there's the pyramid. If you go inside the pyramid, I think it's it's themed with the movie oh God, what was the Disney, pixar movie with the? It's the Mexican holiday Cocoa, cocoa, thank you. So it's themed with Cocoa on the inside. I love.

Speaker 2:

Cocoa, have you seen it?

Speaker 1:

Yes, it was great.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it makes me cry.

Speaker 1:

Incredible. That was a great movie. Yeah, that was one of their best ones. And yeah, cause they just, they just did such a good job of balancing for kids like the concept of death and life.

Speaker 2:

It just was not so well. I remember at the end of it. I was watching it and I was like Teri, I turned around and looked at my sister and Nicole goes oh my God, come on Right. I was like, I was like sobbing, like I was like, oh my God it was so good. Yeah so good.

Speaker 1:

So you go inside the pyramid and it's. It's Cocoa themed, really cool. They got like the guitar that you know that looks like it in a glass case, but the real life versions is it is.

Speaker 2:

It's really cool.

Speaker 1:

There's a restaurant inside the pyramid that we actually really love. That one I would recommend too. And inside there, though, inside the restaurant there's like a water flume ride, that's like the three amigos with Donald Duck, and they think that's a little cute ride that you can do inside the pyramid. But anyway, they have a tequila bar on the inside. Going there, that's where you want to get your drink, because they are, they have very specific tequilas in there. That are for different drinks and it is worth it because Kelly and I both got them, and they were excellent.

Speaker 2:

I don't think I understand the drink around the world thing. Are there specific restaurants that offer specific drinks that go with it? Or is it like you go to Mexico and you grab a drink and then that was your one drink for Mexico?

Speaker 1:

So the drink around the world thing you're not going to see advertised like in Disney. There won't be a sign that's like stop here for your drink around the world. I honestly think the drink around the world started as a fan-based thing that has just taken off now, but they don't. They don't push it Like Disney isn't pushing or advertising that. So there are, but there are places at each country that you can get a drink, multiple places. So, like Italy has, obviously whatever.

Speaker 1:

Yep, Okay, yeah, there's some. I definitely if you go to Italy and you like wine we tried some wine that they that you literally can only get there, and Italy Like they don't sell it in the US. So, that was a cool little you know thing that we did. So the one that was weird that we really had a hard time with was it was a drink in China and it was a. It's a very clear like almost like opaque. It wasn't sake, because that's that's Japanese, I believe I'm going to say that carefully.

Speaker 1:

I think I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure I'm saying that carefully, but there was a. There was another drink and I remember it. The flavor of it was like nothing else I had and it was just like I think you had to. I think you had to be introduced to this at a younger age because I was like this is such a bizarre taste. Yes, it was an acquired taste, that's for sure.

Speaker 1:

Sweet, and I literally have nothing to compare to, but anyway, there's a lot of interesting drinks as you make your way around, some of them you'll be familiar with somewhere you won't be, definitely a good place to try all that stuff, though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'll probably just get one and split them between the two of us or something.

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to push put the kibosh on the Disney chat which we have Aw.

Speaker 2:

I know I was kidding Cool.

Speaker 1:

So this is a good time to talk about. One of the things that Brooke and I had discussed, really at the beginning before our podcast, was the concept of entrepreneurs or not. Let me take that back.

Speaker 1:

Not even entrepreneurs I'm talking about really anybody Humans and humans who lean into a job or a career at a young age and then go through their life and what do they do if they feel stuck or want to change, or maybe the job presented something that they didn't expect and they don't like it, and they spent years of school, you know, preparing for this, which, by the way, you do at a young age. So I will always say that you are never 100% sure what you want to do, because your brain is not developed at that point.

Speaker 2:

Which isn't kind of crazy, that we go to school with like majors and minors at like 18 years old. I didn't know anything about anything at 18 years old. All right, guys, that's part one of today's episode. Just a quick reminder that we record these episodes and divide them into two parts to drop every Tuesday.
