Spiritual Awakening 101 Guide

Speaker 1:

Hello everyone, welcome to our Spiritual Spotlight series. Today I am joined by Sasha Lipskaya. She is an embodied, self-loaded teacher, intuitive mind coach, spiritual guide and sacred sexuality and leadership mentor to high-achieving and soul-driven people who want to go deeper into their true nature of who they are and their life purpose. Sasha, thank you so much for bringing us to the Spiritual Spotlight series. I'm so happy you're here.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, garret. Oh my God, rachel, I almost called you, garret, you know.

Speaker 1:

You called me Garret. That's fine. I actually love that.

Speaker 2:

I know I'm like it's where it says right Before us no, so thank you, rachel Garret. Thank you, rachel, for having me. I'm really happy to be here. Well, you said we're going to be adult about this, which is how this actually works in my head, like it's going to be even more fun. Like it's going to be more fun. Yes, yes.

Speaker 1:

To tee this off. We were having a lot of fun before we got started, because we want to have this to be a fun peppy interview today. So, sasha, your journey has taken you through various roles and experiences. Now this may be moments of pivotal moments, but can you maybe just tell us what was one pivotal moment, when you decided to become an embodied self-love teacher and spiritual guide?

Speaker 2:

One pivotal moment.

Speaker 1:

I know it's like a stack of 50.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, yeah, and also the question clearly came to you, for you, so that I can answer it because there's something to share that's important for people to hear. Otherwise you wouldn't have asked. So I know that there is a moment that I need to speak to right now and that actually you know. So I've been doing this work, for I want to save my whole life, without officially calling it right what I call it now, and then when I chose to surrender, you know, and really start understanding how much of this work this work being coaching, guidance, teaching right. Any kind of position that I put myself in, where someone comes to me and I then create a space for them to essentially heal right. Not because I'm healing them, but because I'm creating a space where that becomes possible for them right. Whatever. So, whatever modality I needed to learn that called me in the moment. It could have been, you know, akashic Records reading. It could have been developing, learning more about the science behind intuition and how it works, so that I could really claim it as one of my not just superpowers, but one of the things that I use primarily in my coaching coaching skills, coaching tools, psychology, right, like all of the shadow work and tantra. All of that has led me to embody more and more and more of the confidence that I have now to say that I really do know that, right now especially, I am in the space where I can say I had a moment that now I see more and more, and that was, you know, with a client of mine. Actually, we were, well, we were in a session, we were speaking, and she has really been instrumental in offering me a space to see how my work works, you know, and every client that I've had had, you know, obviously had that effect on me.

Speaker 2:

But with her, specifically, it was really interesting because she, you know, did not have the specific goal, right, that I need to get there, which is what you would think in coaching, you know like, or in healing I want to heal this, right or it was very for her, it was very specific and it was extremely ambiguous and it was exactly what you said I did in the beginning, which is, you know, she came to me because she wanted to understand experience and really, really live and breathe the practice of self-love, right. So not just practice, as in you know, meditate, take care of your body, actually, no, that's the challenge. Sometimes that's not something that you know how to do, well, or you don't want to do, or so the concept here is that the practice of self-love embodied self-love, and what I realized with her and there was a moment where I recognize that for me as well, as I came to this work it was about that, right. It was about, you know, to love myself in all of the ways that I show up in the world, in my body, my relationships and my work had always been a big part of my life. I'd always been very purpose-driven, and we can say that's my masculine, but it's actually my feminine. So, you know, but it's like the expression of me, right, I want to create, I want to expect. Right, and it was, it had been actually driven by self-love or lack thereof, right? So I'm going to prove myself in the world. Therefore, I will create this, but it's coming from a lack of self-love versus I need to express this. It makes no sense. Oh my God, I don't know what they're going to say. They're going to judge me craziness. I want to do it, I'm doing it. That's self-love, right? So, because they want to, because my heart's saying yes, I'm saying yes to my heart, that's self-love.

Speaker 2:

So in the moment with her, she articulated to me that through our work, she had been able to not only cultivate this capacity of, first of all, trusting her intuition, following it, therefore feeling more self-love on all of the things that she's experiencing, and that she had connected to the most important thing in her life, which is a capacity to live a life that is really in alignment with being in service to the divine. It's not to the divine and that to me. Again, I call it God right, and that's not gender specific, but it is that we can call it that. What, if we want to? I do, and she does as well. The way in which everybody I work with doesn't feel triggered by that word. And I'll say the divine, you know.

Speaker 2:

So that people, again, it's not religion, it's not any concept, right, the divine, the sacred. I want to serve that and I know that that is actually how I develop my capacity to love myself, because I am then the vessel, I am then the instrument, I am then actually the one who gets to hear and feel and experience the divine Right, and that is self-love. And in that moment it's almost like I realized wait, what I do is actually I hold. I hold a space as a spiritual guide, more than anything else, so that someone could really honor love and, in a way, trust that their desire to feel the divine is not only valid, but it's actually, by definition, self-love, self-worth, purpose, all of the things we're looking for, and that's what it comes down to. This is it.

Speaker 2:

And then I realized, rachel, that oh my God and this has been very recent I'm like, wait, my whole life has been about looking for the divine. Like I literally have never thought of it that way, but I had been looking for God my whole life. I just didn't call it that, but that's what it is. And like, oh, but that's what people call it. Oh, now we're speaking the same. I'm like, oh right, it's like wow, I didn't get tripped up by the word because it never was a thing, but that's also why I didn't realize that's what I was doing.

Speaker 2:

And now, speaking to my clients, like, oh, you come to me with a clear desire to feel self-love and I'm looking for God and I want to serve God, and I actually now viscerally know what you're talking about, because that's what I do. But now I realize that a lot of people don't call it that and people don't understand what that is and they actually feel a little bit like oh, that's the woo-hoo stuff. I'm here for spiritual growth. It's like well, spiritual growth, like what is that about? What does that mean? Why Right?

Speaker 1:

So true.

Speaker 2:

So, so there is. There is the moment. It's when she told me I had been able to feel it. God, and that's what we're doing, that's amazing. That's, oh okay, that's what we're doing.

Speaker 1:

So thank you for, of course. So sacred sexuality and leadership mentoring is a very unique combination? Yes, so I think there's. This is a dual question, one for somebody that's not familiar with sacred sexuality. What is that? And then, how do combining these two aspects intersect in your work, and what benefits might they bring your clients?

Speaker 2:

Yes, so you just brought it to this. What I just said is literally that so sacred sexuality in the way that I teach and learn it I'm foremost a student of it and in the way that we connect to that concept in tantric tradition, which is what I believe they practice more and more now, which includes every other tradition, but because that's, tantra is everything.

Speaker 2:

So, that said, sacred sexuality is your capacity as a human being to experience your body right, your sexual energy right. So the energy with, literally within within your body, that creates like desire, right, that allows you to feel that arousal of I am alive, I'm feeling pleasure, I'm here with and this is to your other question actually that place in you that can lead that desire, lead that intuitive insight of I'm called to do this, I'm excited, I'm turned on, right. I want to make love to the world. Literally, that's what sacred sexuality is. Understanding that, again, the concept of sex is like. It's a representation of what we want to create in the world. We want to merge, we want to be in union with, again, finding the divine, finding God. We want to feel ourselves as of service so that our whole being is activated right, so that we're alive. I'm activated alive, I'm in service, I'm not wasting one ounce of my being Right. All of me is being heard, seen, felt. That's one part of me Right, and that part needs another part of me, which is where polarity comes in right, and sacred sexuality is about playing with polarity so that you can then take that part that's turned on and excited, and we can call it the feminine energy.

Speaker 2:

I feel sexual energy. Oh my god, I feel creativity. I can call it creativity, right, creativity right, if I can call it. Ooh, that part of me that then goes into my heart and my heart wants love, right, like, oh, okay, so that is the feminine energy, everything is energy. Well, what is going to actually allow for that energy to then be directly manifested, held, led, led to fruition, in service to what it is that is actually coming from you, as a response to very clearly something that's needed right you need to write a book, start a podcast, have a family.

Speaker 2:

That's actually needed. The world needs that from you. For some reason, you don't think about it. It's coming from your heart. It is needed Once you again start training your intuition, understand how it works, and by training I mean it trains you. Right, right, right, right. Oh, this is in service. I want to marry this person. I want to start a business. I want to move over here. I want to take care of my body, like this Great Energy. Ah, how are you going to act on it? What is going to happen? That's the masculine. How are you going to then actualize it? You know, and the actualizing is energy, but also, is it a flaw, right? Or is it a river that flows on its banks? And that's what I love.

Speaker 2:

Again, the question of psychosexuality, because it comes down to you making love to yourself right In your polarities, being able to lead yourself really well, being able to then evoke that in others If you're in partnership, knowing how to play that in a relationship. And that's where sacred sexuality is really juicy and everybody thinks oh, it's about you know, relationships and sex in the bedroom. It is also, and it's extremely important, but it starts with a new how in harmony am I with my feminine and my math as a feminine being? Essentially, how do I work with my masculine? I just taught a master class on this yesterday and I trip myself up in a way, because to go for hours, be like the concepts and the words, and words will fail us. Sacred sexuality and leadership fit into one another and this is how sacred sexuality is your capacity to feel your fullest potential Now, in this moment, which you never felt before, because this moment in the game, right so now, is this, is it?

Speaker 2:

This is what's possible. What are you doing? And the what's possible comes from. What do I desire? What wants to come through me? What do I want to create? How do I want to express my being, my instrument in this moment? What's being called from me?

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

The song is this world asking me to sing in this moment? And okay, well, what am I going to do about it? Right, how am I going to sing this song? Where? How long is the song going to be? And also, what does it matter? That's the masculine. See how my voice drop. Why does it matter? It's calm, it's present, it's deep. Let's just let's see what's happening, let's see how you can do that in service to everyone. We have time. That's the masculine. We think the masculine is about pushing. No, that's the distorted masculine.

Speaker 2:

The true masculine is I'm going to hold you and I'm going to lead you. I'm going to help you create what you need Perfect timing, no rush. Stay with me, right, and so hot dance. That's sacred sexuality. How are you leading yourself to create that which your soul calls you to offer this world? Right, that is that union of the yin yang within you. And then that transforms, obviously, how you show up in a relationship.

Speaker 2:

You can play with that sacred intimacy, partnerships, and in your work, right, you have a business. How are you leading your business? That's your masculine. How are you creating in your business? That's your feminine. How are you showing up for your clients? Right, if you're holding space with, like, how are you expressing your true voice in that moment? And if it doesn't go to plant all of that, that's the dance of the. Again. You can call it feminine, masculine. It's really helpful. We don't have to, we can just say energy and consciousness and that creates the polarity and the, or the cosmic orgasm, as I call it. Something's being created and it's actually a service, like this conversation.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, so mindset retraining and showerwork are essential components of your practice. What advice would you give to someone who wants to start exploring their own shadows and transforming their mindset?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So shadowwork has been a big part of my growth within this world and it's a big part of some Tantric traditions. It's not part of Tantra necessarily, but people bring it in Right Because it helps you see the unseen right, see what you want to see. And then for me, it's become actually more and more about and yes, like resistance or anything else, you see it great, we're aware of it how we start retraining our mind to not follow the shadow right.

Speaker 2:

For example, I have a shadow that is, you know, a wounded little child that thinks she's going to be rejected yeah, it's a right. She's going to come up and she's going to try to sabotage, like, no, you're not going to do this. No, you can't do this and you don't need to do this, this, right. So all of that, it's again not helpful to what I want to do. And the shadow work comes in when you see it, you make it visible, real, understand that it's. It's not real, right, but how it manifests in your life is very real. So then, in Tantra, what we will look at in I love this is it isn't so much a shadow, it's yes, it feels like, oh, I don't want to see it. Therefore, it's a shadow, yes, but it's also, it's a, it's an energetic, it's almost like an imprint right.

Speaker 2:

It could be something that happened to you. Again, we don't need to know the story, but there is a reason and it could be from a past life, it could be from your mother, it could be Jeanette, who knows? It's here, right, this thing, and it's an imprint in literally your like. It's your physiology right. Your physiology holds your mind. Is your body right? So, yes, it is in you.

Speaker 2:

It's not a thought that you're like oh, I'm not going to think it anymore, I'm going to think a different thought. It is a thing like an actual moving energy field in your body that will then literally close down your heart, for example, block the energy flow, make you not right, respond to something in a way that you want to, because rival mode, because you're being triggered, as we say sometimes, or because you're reacting Now you are not reacting, that part of you is, but because you're not aware of it. It's running the show. So the way that I work then, with shadow work and this is to answer your question and retraining the mind, is seeing every shadow.

Speaker 2:

This again, this imprint, the physiological imprint, the psychological imprint, the spiritual imprint, energy holding, basically holding you back in the sense, constricting you. It's closing down your heart. There's something, it's like an actual physical response in your body. You're closing down your potential. You're not there. Yes, yeah, something right that. If you see that as a signpost of there is so much light behind me, that's a gift that I'm here to give you, right, so you immediately see it.

Speaker 2:

Oh, there is something Now. Oh, I see it now. Oh, I know it, I know what it is now, and the retraining starts. It starts with compassion, curiosity and a desire to integrate the gift, right. So it's gift I have. This is what I just shared. It actually has a gift. She's traumatized little girl. Okay, she has a story. She's dramatic, whatever, whatever she needs to believe to do what she's doing, which, which, again, that part of me believes she's doing me a favor.

Speaker 2:

Right, so it's not like I do something bad. Okay, so compassion and curiosity. I wonder I'm resisting this. I wonder what the gift is. And as soon as I do that, my physiology changes. I then step into my full right self. It's my heart. So I'm like, ooh, there is this element in me. She's doing this. I wonder, hmm, open, I receive. What's the gift? I choose to believe there is a gift. I choose to believe that this wouldn't be happening if there wasn't something here for me right now. It's important that I receive it right now. Yeah, because it's really bothering me right now.

Speaker 2:

Right, and oh, it's actually the fact that she is not nourished, she's starving, right, and on many levels. Right, doesn't have to be specific to everything. She's not playing, she's not being fed. Well, she's not given attention, she being this specific part. But I can say me right, my body doesn't, okay. So let me get even more curious.

Speaker 2:

Where, where in my life, am I bypassing my needs? Right? Where am I selecting what I desire, what I want? Right, oh, okay, I need to. I need to sit down to eat. I need to take a walk. I need to see. No to this. I need.

Speaker 2:

Oh, wouldn't it be interesting if, whatever you know like I'm not going to do this. She's coming up. She's like, no, don't do this, you're not ready, you're ashamed. Okay, okay, valid. I hear you what, if, what, if I take the lead? Again, I take the lead. I promise you you're going to be okay. And I hear you, what you need, I will give you. I will give you what you need. You need to be nourishing, to be held. I hear you, I will give you that and thank you. Right, so that conversation, it doesn't have to happen right In this like big, dramatic way, but that actually is the practice.

Speaker 2:

The practice is any shadow imprint, anything in you that's coming up. It's not a service, so to speak, to you is actually urgently yelling that there is some work, embodied work, that you need to do within yourself to realize where you're blocking the flow of life body, in your mind, in your psyche, that's triggering this response of survival right Of fear. Essentially, that's what it's fear to be here, to be here now and to do what you want to do, so that you can then not just make it go away, you can learn what is on offer for you, because I bet that whatever you receive will enhance whatever you want to do. I want to step up and be on the webinar and she's what? Or interview. She's like, okay, you need something Great, I'm going to give it to you.

Speaker 2:

Can I show up and do this thing? I trust, I trust it's going to be great. I can feel her presence, yes, an element of me saying okay, and she can then become part of the experience. She can then say something and share something that will enhance what I can offer, because she's okay, she's not just a shadow, she is an imprint from something that clearly impacted me, right? So, whatever that is, I can use it in service when she's an ally, when she's not something that I'm calling a shadow, that I need to fix and get rid of the ego.

Speaker 2:

Right, it's like, no, actually we can't get rid of it and there's no need to, and also it's actually not advisable. We can't even try, because the ego is part of how you experience life. So what are you doing? I don't want to be in this life. Well then, whole other conversation about spiritual work, and if you all want to be in this life, it's a very different work we're going to do. You're going to go to the inlayers and live in a cave and just bliss out and check out. That's fine. That's fine, right, but it's not the work I'm doing, that's not the work you're in, and I'm not here to do that work, right? Yeah, so shadow, great, what's on offer? How can I help? How can we actually work together? Because I know, I know it wouldn't be here if I didn't choose consciously, in some way, that this would serve me somewhere, consciously, I mean on a soul level, right?

Speaker 1:

Now, I don't.

Speaker 2:

But yes, my nervous system knows.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was such. You have so many gold nuggets of wisdom in that answer. I would recommend that everybody goes back and listens to that specific answer. There's like so many like pockets of wisdom. I love it. So your podcast being brave with Sasha Lipskaya what does bravery mean?

Speaker 2:

You go ahead. I need to ask you. Let me record my intro, sasha.

Speaker 1:

I love her name. Okay, guys, like I love her name, I will say it all day long. You have no idea. So what does bravery mean to you in the context of personal and spiritual growth?

Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you for the question. Bravery again. Brave courage, right, Courageous. The word courage and I say this a lot because it's so like wow it comes from the word heart in French. So being courageous, AKA being brave, means living with an open heart, right, and that's back to sacred sexuality, retraining your nervous system, integrating your shadows right. Not being afraid doesn't mean you're not here, right? I don't feel that like my fear is worth my closing my heart, but I very much feel fear all the time, right, so I choose to right. I choose to know that this is more important. My open heart is what I'm here for. So open, broken heart, it has to be because it's feeling so much and it has to grow, which means it has to be open and keep breaking right so that it could grow, Not because it's broken and we have to fix it.

Speaker 2:

No, it's broken because it's part of how your heart owes its capacity to love back, to love yourself. That's what you do Now. Bravery for me has been the like I would say it's the one thing courage, bravery, the one thing that has led me through life Like I've doubted myself, like I said that I've created different roles, I've played different roles. I've tried to achieve. I've come from a place of thinking I knew and wanted this and it wasn't that a lot of, again, shadow, right, a lot of Right. Yeah, I'm passing the truth of my intuition, although I was very intuitive always. What got me through it? What's through it? I don't mean get over it. I really went through it to understand how to work with my gifts and my intuition and not let them actually become my handicaps, which they could have been. That's what happens to us when we don't work with our guests, right. So it's being courageous, it's being brave. I had to say I don't know, and I did this my whole. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Something does I trust, I trust and I know that in that trust it's not oh cool, I trust, this is great. No, no, I trust. It requires that I am really brave, because I don't know what's gonna come, but I know I'm brave, I know I am brave, I just knew that and I kept claiming that word because and that actually came up, like last week with my parents, I left a partnership and business and she, my mom was like you're really brave and I was like I am, that I am, although I don't have the stakes around that. You know, it's like this huge, yeah, it's like every day I'm being called up. Okay, how much more courage do you have? How much more bravery do you have? Because let's go deeper, let's go more. And the reason this is so important bravery specifically again, open heart is bravery. That's why being open heart takes courage Every day, doesn't you? Don't go with callus it. No, that you know. Playing your heart as an instrument means it's raw, it's real. You have to work with it. You have to know how to have a capacity to actually be with the open heart. Right, all of that. That's what I do, so that you're not overwhelmed, so you know, nervous system doesn't blow itself out. So, yes, so that you don't sabotage yourself, Right, so you don't regress over a thing that you're doing it wrong. No, that's also courage.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to be courageous to ask for help. I'm going to be courageous to say I don't know Right, but somewhere I'm going to be courageous to keep looking for the right answer. I'm going to be courageous to know this isn't right for me, I don't need to do this, even though everything else or everyone else is telling me it is. I know it's not going to be brave and trust my heart because it trusts me. And I'm going to be brave to keep exploring, yes. And I'm going to be brave in trusting again, trusting that whatever it is that I come from, that bravery too, like whatever I create from, that bravery has to be in alignment with my heart. It has to be because it's not coming from I want to get something, I want to get away from something or I'm trying. No, bravery means my heart is open. I'm here to love. I want to do this fully right.

Speaker 2:

Like as a sacred warrior, right Like spiritual warrior. It's not an archetype, it's a way of being in the world. Absolutely, that's what it is. Yeah, I totally agree with you. I dare to love.

Speaker 1:

I dare to love. I'm like you're mentioning so many books. I sorry, I was like, oh, I have that book, I have that book, OK, yes, yes, ma'am preach. So let me ask you this Before we ask you the last question me and my archetypes, you and all of your parts, me and all of my parts, what is the best place for somebody that is looking to learn more about you, get in contact with you? What is the best place for them to go to?

Speaker 2:

Sure. So I feel like my podcast being brave yes, with Sasha Lipsky it's one sentence and my website, sashalipskycom, as well as my YouTube channel actually, and my Instagram, like you mentioned. Pretty good, yes, and my YouTube channel and, I would say, my website are probably the best places to see all my offerings in terms of free masterclasses I'm offering and however else we can engage, and also just to learn more about my weird, quirky, brave self.

Speaker 1:

I love your weird, quirky brave self. So in your bio, you mentioned daily practices for healing and spiritual growth. Can you maybe share some of these practices that our listeners can incorporate into their daily lives?

Speaker 2:

Yes. So I will share two right now for everyone, because we spoke about sacred sexuality, we spoke we're training your mindset, and we spoke about bravery, courage. So it starts and ends with one thing having the capacity to feel your heart, really feel your heart, not just know that your heart's there. And I was like, yes, I hear it. No, like really hear your heart, which is how you train your body to then respond to your intuition and not mind, right, and not your again, any shadow or imprint you have.

Speaker 2:

And back to the practices, it doesn't just come with. Let me hear my heart. For a lot of us, the reason we don't, I feel, especially for women, is we are also extremely disconnected from our lower body, our wounds. So for me, when I say speaking to the heart, listening to the heart, I mean listening to the womb heart. So it's the hope into the gut, into the womb. Even if you're a man, you have an energetic womb right. There's space inside of you that holds this creative sexual energy. That's now, for women, very real. We're like, oh yeah, that's where babies are formed in our bodies, right? So like, oh yeah. So that heart that I speak about its root goes right in and through the womb into the earth and then it opens, opens like a flower right, and it connects to the sky and it connects to the whole universe In however way. You are called to experience that, and so your heart is your whole being right.

Speaker 2:

But physically being able to be with your heart in your chest, first and foremost starts with two practices. So I will offer this in sequence so you start your day with, especially if you feel a little bit disconnected from your intuition or and the truth of what you want to do. That's what it is feeling your womb first, right. So feeling, just feeling your pelvic floor, feeling that space between your hips, right, just understanding that there is this very potent wisdom center that we often don't talk about. And if this center is not heard, if not, if you don't know how to feel it, it's not that you can't right, you might never practice, you just haven't practiced. So this is what you do, you start practicing and you can squeeze your lower abs, squeeze your lower body muscles, your kegel muscles, really feeling that sexual center and understanding that, again, that's where that sexual energy lives. It will rise, create. But for you to open your heart and to live with the brave, open heart, you need energy, you need stamina and you get a connection to that guttural knowing of I am safe in the snowing, the knowing that I'm safe in the knowing right. I am safe into know the truth. I am safe in my body. My body knows and I feel connected to the part of me that wants to express this truth. And that's where, again, the womb healing work comes in, as you don't have to do anything, just feel first your womb. Take three deep breaths into your womb through the nose. We can do it right now. You don't have to do anything, just breathe into your womb space. If you don't feel it, don't worry about it, you will eventually keep practicing.

Speaker 2:

Squeeze those lower muscles, lower body muscles, lower keg muscles, that's what you wanna call them, the lower muscles. Just to help yourself locate that area and just feel that place, you can put one of your hands on your tummy, you know. Feel your breath, like literally between your skin and your hand. Just feel your breath moving and as you do that, then feel that energy energetically. Just feel rise, that energy is rising right, so you can feel the energy rise.

Speaker 2:

If you're intending to, you will into your heart. If your intention is to feel your heart, you will feel your heart receive this energy. It's like roots from a flower getting this water. Okay, okay, it's safe. It's safe to be in my body. It's safe to feel my heart. It's safe to know the truth.

Speaker 2:

I'm held right back to sacred sexuality. My inner wisdom, my feminine, is being held by something that is protecting it, guiding it, clarifying it, holding it. That's the masculine, that's consciousness. Right, so you're being aware of your wisdom. Sacred sexuality 101. That we're done, that's it. I'm aware of the heart's wisdom and they're coming together so that I can do something about it.

Speaker 2:

So, feeling your room, three breaths. Bring it into your heart, and this is part two of the practice. Bring it into your heart, heart, feel your heart. Put your hand on your heart. Put one of your hands on your room or your tummy or your gut, put one of your hands on your heart and you feel that connection.

Speaker 2:

Take three deep breaths into the heart and ask what do you need me to know? What do you need me to know? What do you need me to know? And whatever you're sitting with in your life, your business, your relationship, your health, you don't have to ask that specific question. The what you need me to know will evoke the answer to what you need to know, and that will include everything, because it has to. Your heart knows this is where we need to go right now. This is what you need. This is the shadow you need to look at. This is where you're sabotaging, resisting. This is what you wanna do.

Speaker 2:

Whatever you need to know in that moment will then lead to the next right.

Speaker 2:

So every moment informs the next, but this one right here what is the truth of my heart?

Speaker 2:

Really know it's your heart, really feel it's safe to feel your heart and then actually be with that for I would say five minutes, set a timer, breathe, breathe, womb heart connect. And then the last thing I'll say is, if you wanna really complete it one of the practices that I love doing then you stand up once you get the answer, feel the answer still, don't dismiss, really be with it and then move your body right, so not like a linear. I'm gonna do some stretches. No, move your body fluidly. How does it wanna move? Do you wanna shake right? Do you wanna, ah, voice, breathe so many things that we wanna include in embodiment practice, but specifically for this, breathing into the womb, the heart, standing up and then letting your body simply integrate whatever knowing you received into your physiology, so that that knowing isn't just a thought. Right, I know this is what I need to know and I'm gonna let my body actually integrate it so that my whole day then is informed by this. Knowing my integrity with my heart. That's it.

Speaker 1:

That's a beautiful answer. Well, sasha, I wanna thank you so much for coming to the Spetula Spotlight Series. This truly has been amazing, thank you. Thank you, rachel. Thank you, I appreciate you.
