We hardly declare John 16:33 as God's promise but it is a promise. It reads, "I (Jesus) have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Suffering is something we ignore and reject in our journey with Jesus. Often, we get confused and filled with doubt in seasons of suffering.
