90. Jacob: The Home is Your First Place of Worship.

‭Deuteronomy 11:18-19 reads, 'So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.' (NLT)
Worship is not a program, it is a daily lifestyle practice. Unfortunately, the Church in America has delegated worship to programs such as church ministries, youth groups and schools. Although this is not necessarily wrong, the priority needs to shift. Any opportunity to hear and practice God's Word empowered by the Holy Spirit will never return void. On the other hand, programs  support what is taking place in the first church, the home, not the other way around.
