Dr. Heidi Houchen
Dr. Houchen graduated with her DVM from Washington State Vet School and completed an internship in ER and Critical Care Medicine at VITECC the following year. She has been an ER/Critical Care Vet for thirty years. Dr. Houchen joined VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Clackamas in 2006, where she has been the Intern Director as well as the director of the NW Veterinary Specialists Critical Care Blood Bank. Dr. Houchen writes and lectures extensively about her special interests of transfusion medicine, toxicology, and trauma/CPR.
