Welcome to Homework with Kim, Episode 4 - Time to LISTEN.

Thank you so much for joining me!

This week's episode's Part 1 has a special guest , my 4-year-old daughter, Phoebe.

As a mother, I  usually  do alot of instructing and not enough listening.

It's easy to become fixated on the duties at hand and everything we must accomplish to keep things going smoothly, to ensure the wellbeing of our families and homes.

However, it is very easy to overlook how much more significant (and fun) the relationship tasks are.

One way we may get to know our children  better and watch how their values and character improve is by asking them thoughtful questions, paying attention to their answers, and engaging in two-way dialogue.

In this episode, I ask Phoebe some questions, including those surrounding matters of the heart.

First off, let me admit that I'm not always good at listening. However, let's do the Homework in this area by setting aside Time to LISTEN.

In part 2 of this podcast episode, I shar  a brief, but true story that illustrates why it's important to make time to listen to everyone, not just our children and  those at home, but also  the homeless.

We ALL have homework to complete, so SHARE if you believe it could be helpful to someone, as we encourage each other to make Time to LISTEN .

Just look around, you'll see it... we have some HomeWork to do. . .  so let's get started!
