Welcome to Homework with Kim, Episode 5 - Pressure Cooker:  Don't Conform, Transform

Thank you so much for joining me for this MID SEASON Episode!

This week we talk candidly about the pressure that both our children and ourselves face.
As part of our homework, the narrative that currently permeates our media and society will need to be contested.

This calls for us to speak out and take a stand for what is right while speaking out against what is wrong. It is necessary for our homes and families!

We also examine the Asch Conformity Experiment  to determine how it relates to current events. Solomon Asch, a psychologist, designed a study in the 1950s to determine whether peer pressure can be powerful enough to alter our perspective and cause us to believe in things that are not true. To do so, he set up a clever experiment on conformity that raises questions about our ability to think freely.

We ALL have homework to complete, so SHARE if you believe it could be helpful to someone, as we encourage each other to release some steam from the Pressure Cooker:  Don't Conform, Transform

Just look around, you'll see it... we have some HomeWork to do. . .  so let's get started!
