In today’s episode, we talk about WrestleMania being one of the most iconic events in entertainment year after year. Where they sell out football stadiums like the Super Bowl and bring back legends like The Rock, Undertaker, John Cena, and Randy Orton, and they win because of the marketing and storylines they create and sell.
As UConn embarrassed the competition during March Madness, it still left us in a wow moment. Men’s college basketball is not a good product. Yet when the tournament comes around, the average fan fills out a bracket, gambles on the games, and watches during work lol.
However, the problem is that no one knows the players; women’s basketball receives more views/attention, and the player of the year for men may go undrafted (Zach Edey).
There is no name recognition. Plus this one-and-done system is broken and on display talent-wise.
