Breaking the Mold

Art, Spirituality and Creating Change with Artist Shep

Shep Season 1 Episode 18

North Carolina-born, LA-based Shep is an artist who “creates a compilation of stories. These are tales of cultural pain, paint strokes channeling beauty we see daily, with colors reflecting the human and spiritual experience.”

Known for his murals of Salvador Dali, Rihanna, and the late Kobe Bryant, Shep defies the odds of what society told us was possible by creating his own life and lane through his art.

In this episode, we touch on ideas like:

  • Perfectionism
  • Observing if something is an obstacle or misalignment
  • His view on talent
  • Relearning how to be happy while creating
  • Tips for artists
  • The role of spirituality in what you create
