Speaker 1:

Hey everybody, welcome back to the remember podcast, so happy to be here. I'm your host, Dalyne Buehler, and we have well, we've got Tresden with us today. No, Mikaela, but Tresden's here and he's happy to be here. Yeah, he gave us a little smile and we have an amazing Was that an audio cue?

Speaker 2:

I was supposed to say something. I'm so happy to be here everybody. It's great. It's amazing we're missing Mikaela, but I am ecstatic to be here even.

Speaker 1:

Here we go, but we have an amazing guest with us today, two guests actually, a duo, ella and Amelia right.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So Ella and Amelia are not your typical guests, these two amazing ladies. They run the relevant podcast and we're super excited to have them on here. We just finished a recording with them for their podcast and it was an amazing experience, and so we're happy to have them on. So, ella and Amelia, go ahead and share us your story and what made you want to start a podcast.

Speaker 5:

Cool, oh my gosh. Well, thank you so much for having us.

Speaker 4:

We're so happy to be on. It's like it feels like we're in good company, like being with fellow podcasters. You know, I feel like I'm at home, I feel seen, I've understood. So this is awesome. We're excited to chat. It's going to be great.

Speaker 5:

Yeah. So yeah, we can share kind of how the podcast came to be. Well, first, amelia and I have been friends for a long time. We met when we were in like seventh or eighth grade and just became good buddies all through high school and we would always have these really amazing chats in mostly Amelia's car, like she would give me a ride home and then supposedly would just be talking in her car for hours and about anything. But a lot of it was about the gospel and we also had a really amazing friend group growing up and a lot of times you would have these gospel conversations with them and stay up late talking and anyway.

Speaker 5:

So then we both went to college, served missions, came home and I just really missed talking with people about Jesus. I felt like I wanted to just have conversations about him more, and I also have always loved listening to podcasts and there's a lot of gospel podcasts that I like. And then there's also a lot of just like random, I don't know, like lifestyle podcasts that I enjoy. But I wanted, I just I felt like there wasn't really an in between, because sometimes I liked listening to the lifestyle podcast but they were never talking about anything of real substance. And then the gospel podcast.

Speaker 5:

Sometimes we're just like so heavy and sort of like felt like I was in Sunday school and I was like I just I wanted there to be something in between and I couldn't find it. So the spirit just put this idea in my head and I texted Amelia and I was like dude, like what if we actually started a podcast about Jesus and we just discussed like a topic of Christ or a name and then just like talked about it for 15 minutes every week? I feel like that wouldn't be that hard and it would just like there was a clear direction of this is what each episode is going to be about. You know, it's like a plan, just laid out in the topical guide. And so I texted her and you were just, she was just absolutely game.

Speaker 4:

I was so hyped. It was like one of those moments where, like, you get the text and I was like, oh, this is 100% Right, like this totally feels good, 100%. And so once we were kind of on board with, yeah, this is a go, we were like, well, like, a podcast can't just be no name, you know. And on our episode that we did with you guys, you talked about how, how hard it is to come up with a name. You know, like we played with the God pod for a second with, you know, just throwing out a whole bunch of random ideas. And I think, ultimately, when she had texted me about this idea to start a podcast, I was on a study abroad. So in a bathtub in Jerusalem, I was thinking about the name and I was like, oh man, what do we name this thing? What do we want it to be Like? And I had two thoughts come to my head Real and relevant. So I have these two kind of ideas that bouncing back and forth, because our point is really we want 100% Jesus focus and so we want to really push the message like he's real and also he's relevant, you know.

Speaker 4:

And then I just had this thought, like, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if something's real if it's not relevant to you. You know what I mean. Like the best doctor in the entire world could be real, but if that doctor is Beyonce's doctor, I don't got a shot. You know what I mean. Like that doctor is off my radar. I don't even know he or she exists, let alone have access to that doctor. So, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter to people.

Speaker 4:

I think a lot of people have heard of Jesus. They know Jesus exists but like, hey, if he doesn't, if he doesn't play an active role in your life that you are actively seeing, it doesn't really you won't want to connect with him, you know. So our goal is really just to help people to see that no, he wasn't just a savior who died, but he died for you. And what does that look like and how can, how can that really impact your life? So yeah, it's been so fun. We tell a lot of fun stories and have some guests on, and it's been. It's been such a highlight for sure.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, and we always talk about how, like, even if literally nobody listened, it would be worth it just for us to get to talk about Jesus every week. Like we, I feel like I've been in the beneficiary the very most of the podcast. Like us.

Speaker 4:

The least thing. Yeah, we always say as long as we have one listener, we are still doing it. And you know what? Both of our mothers for sure. So minimum two. You know we are set. Yeah, no, it's been really fun. We've gotten to connect with a lot of people and it's been really cool. We're in it for the long haul, for sure.

Speaker 2:

That's awesome. So, with the like. But the whole development of this idea, like was that something that, like, there's anything as you guys kind of like develop your relationships with Christ, like as he got older? Um, was there anything like when you guys were like in high school or pre-mission, or even on your mission, that kind of like? You know, obviously this idea came out of the same fruits of oh, I want to talk about Jesus Christ because I missed that, right. Was there anything that kind of happened before that in the development of how you guys gained your testimonies of Christ that made you more and more eager to have those conversations you talked about, like between each other within your friend group, anything that was like, oh, this is the exact reason why I want to keep talking about about Jesus Christ, like this is what makes me excited about it, like what makes you look forward to that next, next conversation.

Speaker 5:

I guess.

Speaker 5:

I think for me it was just just like the feeling like we would, we would talk about it, we talked about the gospel and the spirit would just I don't know. It's such like an electrifying, exciting feeling and so, um, I'm trying to think if there was like any specific moments for me. I'm sure there are, but, like we said, talking with our friends, that was really big. I remember some seminary moments of just being like dang like he's real, or just reading the Book of Mormon in my room. Honestly, I remember just sitting there with the book open to me like man, this is so exciting, like I just there's the feeling of the spirit. You really can't get it anywhere else and I think that's why I've always loved I mean not always, but why I love today and had loved then just talking about Christ and his gospel.

Speaker 4:

No, totally. And like I feel like there were nights where I don't know we'd be like texting after a dance or like, and then slowly it would evolve into like some conversation about God and like the fact that the spirit was so powerful, even just like over text, like what is the source of, like love and light, that it doesn't matter if it's like through a screen, and so I feel like that totally just added to our confidence that, yeah, we might not even see the faces of the people that end up listening maybe they're listening in the UK or maybe they're listening you know, and anywhere, but it doesn't matter. Like God made technology so that the spirit could work through it.

Speaker 5:

I remember some of those texts.

Speaker 4:

They were so good. Yeah for real.

Speaker 1:

I love that and we've established so many, so many times that treasure and I love to talk and so I think it it's funny that you guys have a very similar story, especially similar to how we started the podcast. Our podcast, yeah, literally.

Speaker 5:

I just like to talk, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I remember there's been so many times in high school, middle school, like I would go camping with my buddies when we were like 12 years old, with no adult supervision. We'd take guns, explosives, like we take all this dangerous stuff and we just go camping on our four wheelers and dirt bikes and then we'd go to the gasoline like oh, so much fun and like we're in these dangerous situations and we'd cause all this chaos and then right before we'd go to bed we would just talk about God and life. Like we went from rednecks to philosophers and then woke up the next morning and we're back to rednecks. And One of the most amazing experiences and some of my favorite memories were when I was having just these deep conversations with people and like that's something that I found that I've loved so, so much and we talked about on your episode, about how I just missed hearing people's stories and there's nothing that brings the spirit more than a story, and I think that's the reason why Jesus taught with parables, right. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because stories are relatable. Stories carry emotion and we've talked on previous episodes about the power of emotion. We had an amazing artist come on her story and where she or how she became an artist and there's so much emotion from her story that she puts into her art and I think that's what gave her this success that she has had. And she's been brought on by the church to do paintings for the church and she does an amazing job. She's very, very talented and it comes from that emotion from our stories and so much power in stories. And I wanted to talk about a little bit because when you guys were talking about the name, you talked about the difference between real and relevant, and I love that actually, because when we remember our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, we only remember Him when he's relevant, right.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Which is all the time. So we should remember Him all the time, but it's typically when we're going through a hard time that we remember Him the most, and so, like I think we're kind of on the same track with both of our podcasts telling the same stories, and I love it.

Speaker 1:

A little bit of competition. But no, what I love about the word relevant is I think it plays a lot more into how we apply the gospel into our lives. That makes it relevant, and this is kind of something that I hate about the. I don't hate it, but it bugs me about how we teach things in the church, because we talk so much about how do we or we need to bring our sins or our weaknesses to the foot of the Lord so that he can make us stronger. It's like well, what does that look like? Like how do I do that? How is that relevant to me?

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't make. It's never made any sense to me, and so I think life has just been learning how it is relevant.

Speaker 4:

Right.

Speaker 1:

I love what you guys are doing and I think it's amazing. You want to get into some doctrine. Let's get into some doctrine. How would you answer that, like, how would you say we put or bring our sins to the foot of the Lord, or our weaknesses and make Him stronger so that he can make us stronger?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, let me think first Take your time.

Speaker 1:

I'm a deep thinker, and so these are the things that I'm constantly like, and this is why I love conversations is because I can think through other people.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. Conversations are just a way to think through other people.

Speaker 2:

I think that's something that a lot of people miss just in society now. And so, while you guys think about your answer, I'll just go up on a little tangent. And I think so, sin is anything that separates us from the presence of the spirit. Right, that's what sin is, and there's so many things that are just worldly, that do separate us from that. And so I think one of the easiest ways to answer that question would be, you know, like, how do we bring our sins, our transgressions, to the foot of the Lord? And that's to like, how can we do the opposite of the world? And I think that's something that a lot of people, especially a lot of young people in the church, that are really trying to find.

Speaker 2:

That next thing, there's some people that need the comfort that comes with the gospel. You know, within the things that we teach in the church. And I think there's, you know there's always there's got to be a very clear difference between the, you know, when we talk about the church and we talk about the gospel. You know got to be make sure that there's a separation between those two things, because there's two different things. There's an institution, is the eternal light of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

There's the word of God, and so I think, as we do the things that are against the world, as we realize, okay, this is where my weakness goes, this is where I keep falling in the end with the world, just going to God and saying, hey, how do I do the opposite of this?

Speaker 2:

Or, you know, even if you have that plan for yourself, it's not even so much going to God. And from the get go, you have the list of everything that you've ever done wrong and you're saying, god, I'm going to repent for each and every single of these. If you can do that, then you are so incredibly self aware and, like you know, I applaud you for the ability to be able to do that. But one of the biggest transgressions that we do is just day to day. It's the things that we do that keep Jesus Christ from being relevant, and so I think the first thing that you can do to make sure that you're bringing those things to the Lord's feet is look at the reasons that Jesus Christ isn't relevant in your life and go to God with that and ask him to change that.

Speaker 4:

I think that's so cool. Just what you mentioned about how one way to make him relevant is to ask yourself the question why would he not be relevant right now? Or how is he not relevant in my life? I think that's that's a cool approach to it. I like that that take.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, um, diane, when you were talking about like bringing our weaknesses to Christ and what does that actually look like, it reminded me of like something Emily and I talked about a lot when we were in high schools. Like I felt like people would always say like yeah, Jesus is my best friend, or just things about like accessing the Atom of Jesus Christ, and I was like I don't even know like what that means. Like what do I do? Is there like a step by step? Like how do I make Jesus my friend? Because in British, when I pray to God, I'm not Jesus and I'm pretty sure I feel the spirit, but what? Like what? That's the Holy Ghost, right? Like I just was not quite sure about his role, I guess, and like how I could make him my friend. And one time we were texting and I was like we were talking about this and I think this spirit taught us that the way that Jesus is applicable in our life is because it's his love that changes us.

Speaker 5:

And there's that verse in Moroni, chapter seven. It's like my favorite verse ever, but it says praying into the Father with all the energy of your heart that you may be filled with this love which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, jesus Christ, that you may become the sons and daughters of God, that when he shall appear, we shall be like him. And I think that that verse tells us exactly how we can. Those weaknesses can be transformed into strengths, and it's by relying on the love of Christ and praying for it with all the energy of our heart, like begging to feel that in our lives and when we. Those are the experiences for me when I have felt his love the most and when I have felt changed by him, when I have been motivated to become kinder and become more loving and to trade some of those weaknesses for some of his strengths.

Speaker 1:

So it's awesome. I love that. This is why I love this. This is great I love. I love asking questions and like, especially like deep question. I love questioning everything. It's kind of like an addiction to mine. I have an addiction of listening to people's stories and questioning everything.

Speaker 4:

Those are some pretty wholesome addictions if I do so, and you get yourself out of a lot of trouble with those ones. So, you're doing just fine.

Speaker 1:

Probably.

Speaker 1:

It's just it's so fulfilling, you know to just ask this crazy random question and then talk about it, and then you get to hear people's stories as they're trying to answer the question. And it's so much fun and I think for because I'll go ahead and ask that question or answer that question as well. How do we, how do we take our sins or weaknesses to the foot of the Lord? Like, what does that look like? I think for me that's even though you have this weakness, you're going to work hard and act as if you don't, because you trust that the Lord will make it stronger. That's cool. You can take away those weaknesses.

Speaker 1:

Because there's that story of a town. They're going through a drought and I'm from Southern Utah, hurricane, we were always in a drought, so like this, it's home. But this community? They decided they wanted to get together and pray for rain. And everyone shows up and this little boy comes with an umbrella. He was the only one with an umbrella. He had so much faith that it would rain after they prayed for it that he brought an umbrella. He was prepared for it. And I think that's how we bring ourselves to our only Father is we act as if he's there next to us and he's going to do whatever we ask for.

Speaker 4:

In the same line of I don't know, in the same vein of water, I don't know. There's this quote that I really love, and by the Prophet. I said that it says if it was from nobody, but okay. So the Prophet says, and he's basically answering the question okay, how do you do it? Like I'm looking for what Ellis said, I'm looking for that step by step, I'm looking for the manual, I'm looking for the guy. Just tell me explicitly what I need to do. And he's answering that question. And he says he makes this promise.

Speaker 4:

He says when you reach up for the Lord's power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours, and I just love that, because no one's, no one else, is in your body. You know what I mean. No one else can feel what it feels like for something to be intense. You know what I mean. So they can't give you a prescription for how to reach that level of intensity. Only you can. You know what I mean. Only you can be reading the scriptures and feeling like, oh, like. You know, I'm going to push myself today. I'm really going to like search with my soul, you know, and then you feel that intensity grow and only you can, can, can, be able to self diagnose. Oh my gosh, like I'm really feeling God right now. You know, it's such a personal, personal thing.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely, and I love that, because only we can make God relevant in our lives.

Speaker 1:

Only we, only we have that ability to do that. Only we have the ability to change. There's a oh I just put it on my story on Instagram a couple of days ago, but it was this video of Elder Holland and he's like don't give me your excuses Like it takes exactly how long to repent, as it takes to decide to change, and I was like what? Wow, because I think so many people, and myself included, we get ourselves like wrapped up into this. Oh, it's complicated, oh it's oh, it's this, oh, it's that. Oh, like I have this going on and so it's making me do this, and it's just kind of like not exactly taking responsibility for our actions, for the things that we're doing and we've.

Speaker 1:

I've talked about this a couple of times, I think, in previous episodes about we're here to learn how to exercise our agency. That's the purpose of coming to earth. We're here to learn the difference between right and wrong, good and evil and how to choose between the two, and that's the power of God to choose one thing over another, and part of choosing is taking responsibility for those decisions. Funny enough, we talk a lot about conversations today. Last night, I was up until midnight talking to my brother. We literally talked until like we were falling asleep and like this is one of the things that we were talking about is is that taking responsibility for our actions and for the decisions that we've made? And if God isn't seeming like he's relevant in our lives, it's probably because we're doing something to keep him irrelevant, irrelevant, blah, blah, blah. It is our conscious decision to push him away that separates us from God, not the other way around.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think it's also I love that phrase in the scripture the immediate goodness of God and that's the phrase that came to mind while you were talking, Diane is just like like yes, we might not change completely overnight, but when we repent, when we reach out for Christ, for God, it, there's immediate goodness in our situation and we'll feel his grace pulsing through us and helping us to do things that we could not on our own, which is just like so makes repentance feel so achievable, because it's really not about us, it's about him, it's what he's going to do. So if we just make a little choice, then, then he can actually do his work and just give us that immediate goodness.

Speaker 2:

And I think you're hitting on. That is something super key and it reminds me. So Daly and I had a conversation A couple months ago. We all met up and had lunch and we were driving back and you know we were having the conversation about, you know, the accountability and the things that we need, like, you know, something very along the veins of what you and Daly and had just spoken about, and one big thing that was like it was this big piece of revelation that I was just looking for and just one little click that Daly and had shared with me. That was awesome and we were talking about the choices and stuff that we have to make.

Speaker 2:

Like, like Daly and just barely said, we're put here on the earth to learn and so, as we're here on the earth to learn, like we know we're going to make mistakes and we know that these things happen, and I think we all have such a hard time accepting the oh yeah, we made mistakes in the past because we want to go back and fix them. Like that's what humans do. If you have that mindset, like no matter what happens, that's why we overthink, that's why we overanalyze relationships with people, that's why we overanalyze every little thing that we do is because we can always think and go back to, okay, how would I fix that mistake? But because we are put here to learn, we are given the opportunity to be accountable for those mistakes. First of all which I think you know there's just kind of a plague that goes on the world where people in accountability are like cats in water, like it's just you're jumping out of it. Some people are right to jump right in, but a lot of people it's just you know that's not what they want.

Speaker 2:

It's a scary thought, right, but as we take the experiences that we learned from, and as we do take accountability for our actions, we can realize that we don't have to just be subject to God's will right the things that we need to do. We need to make our own choices. God put us here to make our own choices, like if we're not making any decisions for ourselves, we're not getting the experience that God wants for us. And so Dal and Boyd and Dal he's like I think God knows exactly how to react to whatever decision we make. We have these things, but in front of us we have the opportunity to make the right decision or the wrong decision, and no matter what we do, god always has this plan going forward.

Speaker 2:

So one of the big things that a lot of people need to focus on is okay, I have my will, I have the things that I'm going to take to Heavenly Father and I just need to make these align with his, because the beauty of the world that we live in today is that we have the blessing of immortal existence. We have the blessing of having all these gifts to learn, and if we are able to just be accountable, to take the responsibility for our actions and take the experiences that we've learned to mold everything that goes forward, then, a and just another, nod back to your name we're making Christ more relevant in our lives. Right, you're giving more reason for him to exist, but, b, you're giving more reason for your life to be something that God is going to use to be a tool. You're giving him more of those choices. You go back to that immediate goodness that Ella was talking about.

Speaker 1:

We're getting kind of long, so I want to quickly thank everybody for everything that we've talked about, and it has been absolutely amazing. But I want to end on one more question for Ella and Amelia, and it's a very simple one, but what advice would you give to our listeners to keep the Savior relevant?

Speaker 4:

I love that question. I think it's one that's so big that it can't be contained in a little summary, which is why we make so many episodes about it. It's so fun. I think it's kind of even blown us away how much you can make out of it.

Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm not going to be talking for real. I'm getting crazy. But I would say, how do you make Christ relevant? I would say, like by a little nod to your name, remembering that you're always relevant to him. I had this to finish off with a tiny little experience. There was a moment at the beginning of this year where I started donating plasma for a little extra funds. So I started donating plasma. The first day that I did I had a concert that I was going to, so I went donated and then two hours later my friend swings by, picks me up, I hop in a car, we race down a Salt Lake from Provo and, like you guys, this is my first time donating plasma.

Speaker 4:

I did not know that you don't feel well if you don't like eat. I think there's some, there were some directions you know. So I was new. So we go and this is I'm not going to say whose concert was, because we're not going to judge here Okay, so I was at a concert and it was a pretty intense concert, like we were front row and like jumping up and down, we were going really hard and all of a sudden I am unwell, you know, and I turn to my friend and it's like an hour into the concert and I'm like I'm really my stamina, I'm amazed I've gotten this far with how poorly I feel.

Speaker 4:

So I turned to her her name's Marissa and I say Marissa, like I, if I don't leave right now, I think I might go throw up. So I'm going to walk out, like just give me a moment, I will be back in 30. My phone's on me, don't even worry, I'm an adult, don't even worry about me. So I started slipping away and she's like whoa, whoa, wait, what? Like she couldn't really hear me because like the singer was singing so loud and I was like Marissa, like we bought these expensive tickets. We're at the front, like just stay, like keep our spot, you know. Like I don't want us to lose our spot and I don't want to take you away from this concert that you invited me to. And she, so I start moving away from her number one to like make her leave me so she can enjoy the concert. Number two, so I don't like throw up on her, you know. And then she grabs my arm and she's Amelia. No, you don't, you don't get it.

Speaker 4:

The point in this was not to go to a concert. The point of this was to go to a concert with you. And then she walked me to the side and I sat down and some full grown adults came over to make sure I was fine and brought me water and I was, and then we went back and the concert continued. But I had an experience a few days later where I was like God, like I, I'm just slowing you down, you know, like I'm like just kind of go on without me. You know what I mean. I'm like I'm gonna, I'm doing my homework, I'm doing my best, but like just keep going, and then I'll be here, like when you're ready again. And I just had the image of me at that concert jump into my mind and my friend Marissa saying you know, and essentially in that moment the spirit just spoke so directly to my heart you don't get it, amelia.

Speaker 4:

Jesus, the reason I came to earth was not to come to earth. It was to come to earth with you, and so if I leave, that's 99.9% of the purpose is gone. Why would I do that? I don't want to leave you. This is why I'm here. I'm here for you and I think that's what relevant is. It's remembering that it's not Jesus isn't here to come and go and efficiency isn't, isn't the name of the game. The name of the game is us, and we're always relevant to him. We are always the reason for the concert, were the reason for everything, and so, man, we just want. Wasn't it nice if we just made him that relevant to us?

Speaker 5:

I think that was literally so good. I love that story. That was an excellent story teller.

Speaker 5:

I was thinking about this question the other day as I was studying and I was just reading some verses about the gathering of Israel and Christ coming again. I just was thinking about how this is really like the most epic story ever told the fact that God created this earth and that his son came to die for us and we're going to be resurrected one day, and just like everything within the plan of salvation, it is so incredible and so amazing and just like the best story ever told and I just think if we can connect with that, if we can remember that, that Christ will automatically be more relevant in our everyday lives because we'll be a part of his story and we will want to help him in his work. You know, and honestly, that serving God being an instrument in his hands, like that's when I feel the spirit the strongest, that's when I feel Christ with me the most, that's when he feels the closest to me, and so, yeah, I know that's short, but that's just what I was thinking. That's what I would say. Amen.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. Thank you. Thank you both of you. That has been wonderful, as you were both talking. It made me think of, and I love what you said. Let's see, I don't remember who whose name is what.

Speaker 5:

Ella told the story. Ella, your Ella 5050 champ yeah 5050 and I got it wrong.

Speaker 1:

I shouldn't gamble.

Speaker 1:

But I love, amelia, what you're saying about how we're relevant to him, and that's basically what your whole story was. And it just made I love this scripture and it made me think of it Moses, chapter one, verse 39. And this is very famous scripture, but it's very specific to the LDS church because I don't think there's anyone else that has the pearl of great price. But this is what it says. It says, and this is the Lord talking, this is our Heavenly Father. He says For behold, this is my work and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. That is it, that is his purpose to bring us back to him. And then that takes me to the amazing talk by Brad Wilcox, titled his Grace is sufficient, and he says that we're not trying to earn heaven by the things that we do, we're not working for it right, we're learning how to be heavenly, so that it's going to be a place that we want to go Because our Heavenly Father loves us so much.

Speaker 1:

And here's a little bit of the plan of salvation for those who are unfamiliar. But when we die, we're going to be judged and we're going to be placed into three kingdoms the sea lechel, the sea lechel, the sea turtle, the sea lechel, the terrestrial, the king, the sea lechel being the greatest, and that is where God resides. And then the terrestrial, where some amazing people will be, but they're not people that choose to be with God. And then the tea leshul, and those are the rest, and oftentimes, when I've been taught the plan of salvation, we think of the terrestrial and the tea leshul kingdoms as places where it's like the wicked people and they're miserable and yada, yada, yada, yada.

Speaker 1:

And with the amazing perspective that Brad Wilcox has, it changes my perspective of the last part of the plan of salvation. It's not a place for people to go and be miserable, but it's a place that they will be comfortable. And that is part of God's amazing and wonderful plan, because of his love that he has for each and every one of us, as he wants us to be comfortable to go to a place, to a space that we choose to be, and he hopes with his whole heart that we will choose to be with him. We are so relevant to our Heavenly Father, we are his work, his glory, his purpose, and so for me, I want to be with somebody that loves me that much, and so I hope to go to the celestial kingdom, and that is only possible by keeping him relevant to me. So thank you so much, ella and Amelia, for coming on and sharing this message with us and with our listeners today, and thank you, tresden, for being here. Hey, thanks so much.
