Announcer:

Stand up comedy. Your host in MC presents comedy Appeteasers, a podcast where you will find short comedy sets, stories, and funny bits from the famous and not so famous. Here is your host and MC, Scott Edwards.

R. Scott Edwards:

Hi, and welcome back to the podcast. We have something musically fun for you today. One of my best friends in the business and a regular at my clubs for many, many years, baby man, Bruce Bond, is going to be sharing some great comedy with us today. We have him pretending to be a radio dj, and he's very funny. And then he's going to play his hit song, marty Feldman Eyes. That's right. Bruce Baum is a stand up comic, produced this great album, and the main song was Marty Feldman Eyes. And I was in on the production and helped. It was. It was exciting to be around, but it did very well, sold a lot, and I think you'll see why. It's very funny. So, ladies and gentlemen, being a dj and then being the lead singer on a song he wrote, it's Bruce, baby, man bomb. Hey, let's move on into the music news. Jefferson Starship, new album, some concert dates. Jefferson Starship, who I've been in since the Jefferson airplane. Before that, the Jefferson boat and the Jefferson scooter. Ozzy Osbourne in the news again, trying to outdo himself. Arrested earlier today, he's out on bail now. He was taking ostriches, putting them in concrete playgrounds and then scaring them. Roberta Flack, Linda Ronstadt together earlier this week to see who could sing the slowest. They're still working on the tune. ZZ top in town earlier today at the airport. Personally, I chugged on down there to meet them. They gave me one of their keychains and my nipples have been hard ever since. John Fogarty putting credence together once again. They'll be touring as the Credence Clearwater revival. Revival. Ooh, watch this. Friday night

debut, worldwide exclusive. Here on my tv, we'll be looking at stop and smell Mac Davis. Except for after a show, the band hats without men. I gotta tell you, I went to the dentist the other day. You know, it doesn't scare me so much when I hear that drill start up. What I don't like is when the drill gets stuck in the tooth and the dentist starts to spin. I went to a town last week, they had a Shriners convention. I wore one of these. I got into two buffets and a seminar for free. Well, a little movie news, little review, little news, little Review, little news Usama's a gay anglo I know to Billy Joe, Usama is a Chicano and walk proud as a hasidic jew in the chosen as an indian and running brave. Now Robbie Benson is black in Mister Bojangles story of a man and his dog and how they love to dance. And you know what ticks me off? Whenever they show any of these aliens in these books or movies, these aliens are always portrayed as being so much more intelligent than us. How come we never see this scene? The spaceship lands, the aliens get out, we run up. We're from Earth. Which planet are you from? I don't know. Uh oh, I'm Devo. Uh oh, the lights. You know, sometimes I come home from work, I got dirt on my face, grease on my forehead, and I've been working hard all day. I come home, I look at my woman, right smack tap in the eyes, and I say, wow. And she's been working hard all day, too. And she's got grease on her face and dirt on her forehead, and I don't know how the heck it got there, but I come through that front door, she looks at me right smack dab in the ice, and she says, cause I'm married to Tina Turner. Well, right about now, I think it's time that we take a blast from the past. It's time for another bogus classic from 1981, Marty Feldman. Her head is growing bald, her feet are twice her size. She says it's not her fault. She's got Marty felt. And I shall turn the sprinklers on you and dry you off with her thighs. She'll confuse the hell out of you. She's got muddy felt, mad eyes. And she'll woo you, then she'll moan, you forget to pull her pants up. She's obnoxious and she knows it. And she knows how to blow her nose up. All the boys think she's fried. She's got Marty Feldman. I show dirty. She's ferocious, narcoleptic, ambidextrous, super caloristic, expialidocious, bulbous bedroomatis. And she dices. All the boys think she's a guy. She's got Marty Feldman eyes. You're so lame. You probably think the song is about you. You're so. You're so lame. Yeah. Jimmy Durant is normal. And Jimmy Walker's lips. Liberace's clothes. Shelley's gooball's hips. She's got Willie Nelson legs. And that's a Regan spleen.

Bruce "Babyman" Baum:

Dolly Parton's lungs.

R. Scott Edwards:

She's got neon sphinx tape pop singers.

Bruce "Babyman" Baum:

Fabria Lily Carter's brain.

R. Scott Edwards:

All the boys think she's some kind of guy.

Bruce "Babyman" Baum:

She's got Marty Feldman eyes.

R. Scott Edwards:

Oh man, I love that high energy music. Marty Feldman Eyes was a minor hit out across the airways. It played in radio stations across the country. Very funny song. And Bruce Babyman Bomb, a good friend of mine has been in comedy for decades and did a great job as a dj and then of course producing this record and being able to do it with him was so much fun. Hey, I hope you enjoyed this special show and we'll see you back next week. Be sure to tell your family and friends and spread the word. Bye.

Announcer:
