Beattie Network- Quintessential Creative Media
Social Media and Artificial Intelligence has cheapened the cause of a Free Press and is threatening the existence of professional journalism. The Beattie Network is the antedote to Artificial Intelligence and Social Media. As we build the infrastructure in our communities, we start to train a new breed of authentic journalists; creative directors; songwriters; producers, authors; filmmakers and presenters. The idea is to take the information super highway and curate the information that really matters, and build new bridges next to the rusting beams of the internet.

Broadway to Jones Beach- 1970 to 1972 Constance Towers
Jones Beach Marine Theater was a special place to see musical theater. It is geographically 40 minutes from Broadway, yet in the community of musical theater it is very much a part of the Tony Award lights from stars, directors, producers and crew. It is where so many actors revived and originated roles, in a bigger than Broadway scale. Constance Towers and Richard Arnold Beattie give a behind the scenes look at the nightly business of the theater by talking about their shared experiences at Jones Beach Marine Theater from The Sound of Music in 1970 and 1971 and The King and I in 1972. This week, on chapter 3- From Broadway to Jones Beach.
