Mini Episode: 3 Things I'm Doing to Realign My Energy for Spring
Apr 13, 2023 Episode 51
Lindsay Roselle

It’s finally spring! And for me, that means getting back into alignment.

This winter, there were lots of gray days. There was a lot of snow and a lot of illness. (In fact, I’m fighting off illness as I record this!) In the new season, I want to make some shifts to feel better again.

When things aren’t in alignment, I don’t feel as energized. I don’t feel as social. I don’t feel as connected to RT or as patient with my kids. So, in this mini-episode, I’m looking at places to make these shifts, paying close attention to physical health, time blocking, and money.

These things are all connected. Physical health impacts mental health, which not only affects our productivity, but also how we show up in our lives. I hope this helps you look at your own alignment as we head into this new season.

In this episode you’ll hear about:

  • Reimplementing daily morning walks outside, which raises my energy and acts as a transition out of “kid mode” and into “work mode”
  • Analyzing my supplements (including peptide supplements, which I’ll talk more about in a future episode), sleep hygiene, and daily movement
  • Time-blocking and being intentional about how I schedule meetings so that I can run my days in a more focused way with less context switching
  • Saving one day a week where I don’t have meetings or calls so I have the option to not work OR make it a creative/dream day
  • My weekly “money date” to look at bookkeeping so that I can stay on top of expenses, projections, budgeting, etc.
  • The mindset of trust/abundance vs. the mindset of avoidance – and making sure there’s true separation between these two things
