Lindsey Mango: Overcoming the Fear of Judgment as an Ambitious Mother
May 01, 2023 Episode 56
Lindsay Roselle

Today’s conversation is going really deep into mindset, confidence, and authenticity and how finding certainty in our lives really requires us to be confident in who we are.

Being ambitious and driven is in Lindsey Mango’s blood. As a life and business coach, mindset expert, and mama to her 1-year old daughter, she talks about her journey from leaving corporate to creating a successful life coaching business, and all the ups and downs she's had along the way - from feeling safe in her online identity, to Mom guilt and navigating fear and uncertainty.

We also talk about one of my favorite topics - money, and how it factors into the motherload. Lindsey also gets into the nitty gritty of a self-imposed challenge she ran in her business to make $100,000 in 30 days. Not only did she achieve her goal, but she exceeded it, and will break it all down for us.

In this episode you’ll hear about:

  • How working with a life coach blew Lindsey’s mind at a point in her life when a lot of areas (relationship, career, etc.) were stagnant. This inspired her to launch her own coaching business, where she replaced her full time income in just 6 months!
  • Dealing with comparison, losing clients to other coaches, and the plateau Lindsey faced in her business early on, especially after having her daughter
  • The moment Lindsey committed to doing as many uncomfortable things as possible, including pushing herself to make $100K in 30 days
  • How to get over the fear of being judged. You may feel “unsafe” in your identity when stepping more into your authenticity, but it will help you build a community around you
  • Lindsey takes us through a typical day in the life, including when she stops and starts her work day so she can be more present with her daughter (plus, how she manages “transitions” and “Mom Guilt”)
