In this incredible episode, you will meet Sharon; renowned author, speaker, professor and therapist. The depth of this woman's story of recovery has such far reaching levels of impact. I urge you to not only listen, but to share broadly.

From growing up in a teetotaling, legalistic religious household, Sharon really had no grid for the idea of alcohol having any sort of impact beyond "relief", when her ER
doc suggested a glass of wine to ease her anxiety (there wasn't an understanding of what that was 'back then'). As you can imagine, for Sharon, that first drink quickly spun out of control. And as one who was active in her church community, raising children and in the throes of 'adulting', the shame and isolation would soon become her story, too.

Sharon Hersh offers a treasure-trove of experience, strength and hope - for those on BOTH sides of the recovery journey. She is a prolific writer with such extraordinary talent for touching the very depth of your soul with her words that drip with wisdom - from her journey and beyond. Be sure to find her on social media, grab any of her books (I can't wait to read her most recent) and share her story broadly. It's one that will touch everyone!
