Speaker 1:

Here at the Conscious Salon, we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land in which we stand today, the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Welcome to the Conscious Salon. Welcome back to the Conscious Salon podcast Cheers. Yes, we're back with a vengeance. I don't really know what that means, to be honest. I think it's like I don't know. People say that with like when they're like I don't know either. I'm gonna actually like google what that means. All right, well, we're back for some fun. I think it means like you're back and you're grumpy so just makes me think you're like yeah, we're seeking revenge, let's yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 1:

So let's change that. We're back and we're ready to rumble test the week that was with a vengeance yeah, here it is second thing back with ah, and it just came up. What does coming back with a vengeance means? What does it mean?

Speaker 1:

I've used the wrong emphasizing that it happens to a much greater extent than expected. Okay, we're back with a vengeance, welcome back. But test the week that was. How's your week? Great force or vehemence? All right, tess is really like now. She's undertook reform with a vengeance to an extreme or excessive degrees. The tourists are back with a vengeance. Wish I never mentioned it very good down.

Speaker 2:

How's the?

Speaker 1:

week been great, really good. Um, what was? I was just still focusing on the vengeance, all I can think it's like superheroes now, so that's really good. Or just back in the room, click my two, one, uh, yes, great week. We've had a real ripper. Yeah, solid, great, fantastic. We've got some a bit of exciting, something exciting happening.

Speaker 2:

We've got one of our birthday party, one of our beautiful mom and dad are coming back from japan.

Speaker 1:

Actually that's exciting yeah, they've been in japan for two weeks, honestly most traveled couple in victoria. Where do they live? Uh, malvern, yes, they are traveled, well traveled, and they're spending all their inheritance. They've been to like six countries in six months. Yeah, I know, but I'm just like sorry guys, can we just like keep those pennies in the pockets? Yeah, but also immediately, mom was from another country texting us and letting us know that she was also booking another holiday for literally two weeks time I know I don't want to complain or be prickly or ungrateful, but it is affecting my child care because they do look after sully on tuesday.

Speaker 1:

So I'm a bit like, oh cool so we've got a couple weeks convenient it's like mom, I need to call you, and like whine about my life, I can't. You've lost your um your spokesperson the umbilical cord has well and truly snapped from me and mom. But um no, and she's when you think about it. So she's coming back like it's the end of may today, last day of may today. Then we've got. When is it?

Speaker 1:

we're going away, we're taking dad to ham o island, yeah, the big dog turned seven zero a few um weeks ago, and nicky and I'm paying for him to go up to hamilton island, a beautiful um retreat. I'm really gonna make sure that he knows that that's from us, because I think you might be a chibi. I don't think you'd have any idea. No, I'll be making him know. I'll just leave the receipts around the house. No, you won't. You're like that though, aren't you? You're just no way Me yeah.

Speaker 1:

Needing the recognition constantly. Mate, you didn't even know that I had paid for the accommodation until about three months after we have paid for it. I know, but you didn know that was down to poor communication actually, so that's new. But anyway, we're taking the big dog up to um hamilton island in a couple weeks I think that's on the 13th and then the next week they're off for another holiday to queensland to queensland to look after like someone's aunt's, cousin's dog, which I was like what, how did that happen?

Speaker 1:

honestly, I just I can't even, but he's really prickly like. She's like not acknowledging it. I was like I think I said back like you know, hate to see you guys like stay in melbourne and you just left her on red. Yeah, I'm like thanks so much for like no notice for the child care, but yeah, but also that when I look at it, I'm like you guys look after him every tuesday, love you guys, 100% I'm paying hail or shine, like one time he had covid and they're like that's fine, bring him around.

Speaker 1:

I was like, aren't you guys in your 70s. They're like it's fine yeah, he's had a few times, has he? Yes?

Speaker 2:

yes, and they just kept him they're like it's fine they didn't care do.

Speaker 1:

I think I would have done that too. Then I was like I can't, I can't remember my time being affected with him, having covid, I don't know. Did I know? Maybe I wasn't even aware. I don't really get covered, to be fair, like watch me fall down now, but there's a that's a little flex that I have. I feel like I'm pretty covered, immune. You've had it a few times. I've had it twice and I got it on the first one and the second time I wasn't even unwell, I was like asymptomatic, that was so ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

Remember I wanted to go to the wedding and you were like you cannot go to a wedding. I was like I reckon I'm right you just gotta make out with the bride's grandma at the same time. I know, I know I stayed home, everyone don't worry anyway, there were different times like, oh my god, we're so like I'm so, beyond the pandemic conversation, I have to say but we are back it has been a very exciting week at the conscious style.

Speaker 1:

We've had something very exciting that's happening at the moment and I have to talk about I don't even know what it is, mate? What is it okay? One of our beautiful clients, lou oh, yeah, it's so exciting so lou is the founder of luca hair. She is literally one of the most exceptionally talented hairstylers, I would say, in australia. She's so amazing at her craft, she's so incredible and she has released her own online academy which is very exciting, leah, can we just get a round of applause?

Speaker 1:

yes, we're very excited about this, so we would love everyone to go over and visit her um instagram page. She like she. You know who loves her.

Speaker 2:

Hannah loves it I know hannah loves all of her tips.

Speaker 1:

So lou puts up a heap of business tips like content tips. I've learned so much from her social media stuff. The way that she shoots content, the way that she talks to clients, the way that she consults is so beautiful. But she just released her first container. It's live now. Go and visit her Instagram the Color Society. I think it's the Color Society underscore, but search the Color Society. She's got a container that's launched. It's called consultations that convert and it's all about the art of consultations how to have a consult, the questions to ask your clients. She shows examples of consultations. It's amazing.

Speaker 1:

But you can register now for that container we're going the whole team at ahead is going to this container is very exciting, so we'll see you guys in the course. That's right, but it is. Do you want to talk about your week? That was, I mean, that was basically my week.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I mean, have we had anything else, go on.

Speaker 1:

It was like the best day of my son's life ever yesterday, oh, we've got the boards. You've got to Forget the boards.

Speaker 2:

Forget the boards.

Speaker 1:

That's the secret, but we had.

Speaker 2:

You definitely tell the story.

Speaker 1:

The best day of my son's life ever. So I get a Marco from Pete. That's a little app that we use, marco Polo. We send videos between each other. But Pete Marcoed me yesterday and said we had the best morning ever. He said he dropped Solly off at school a little bit late and when he got, there, got there speedy boy in the morning solly not a speedy boy in the morning, pete, but um pete drives like a 22 seater bus, like a massive bus, yeah um, you know that was one of his must-have purchases a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2:

But anyway doesn't have the 22 seats, so just like to recover. No, they're gone.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's just the one seat for solly, pete and marty yeah, I'm just like now. He just transports cactus around but, I mean, that's a story for another day. But um, pete was driving solly to school, pulled up outside the school and, of course, like he's got this giant school bus, um, so all the kids like rushed to the gate do they? Think they were going on an excursion, probably, probably, and then they saw no wait, they don't go on excursions.

Speaker 1:

When yes, they do, they go on like bush kinder and they go on like little field, it's only gone out of the school grounds? He hasn't yet, but he will in like six months, which is exciting, so anyway.

Speaker 1:

Uh, we so people up in the big bus and soly got out of the big bus and all the kids obviously were already at school and they were all playing outside and they all, like, lined up on the fence and apparently they saw solly and what they did in solly's words, was they started doing three cheers for solly yeah, so they all started chanting solly blue, solly blue, that's my son's name, solly blue and he, pete, said that he had like.

Speaker 2:

His face was like ecstatic, he would have left it, so so happy best day of his life.

Speaker 1:

And so he kept saying, like dad, they're just doing three cheers for solly. And he was so excited and apparently he said, guys, I'm going to come into your room, so then they. Celebrities yes, yes, he was like signing nappies, throwing bottles what for you? He went up into the room and they were all like standing at the door doing Sully. Yay, exactly room and um they were all like standing at the door doing something exactly he was.

Speaker 1:

He was chairlifted he can't put in this animation now exactly, but um yeah, it was like the best day of his life ever and I just thought that was like the cutest thing ever that's ever happened to my kids also so random that that happened to him. Like I wonder who started that. Good on you, probably patrick harrison.

Speaker 1:

There's like the big king yeah, well, pete was like pete was, like I wondered if the teachers told them to do it, but there was like no teachers around, which I mean like that's a different issue in itself how beautiful. We think this is like really unique at the moment. We're like god, it's, like you know, the most popular kid at daycare, but like probably they do it to every child no, it's harrison. Harrison's the most popular kid at daycare by far. Every time someone like every time harrison he's a little cutie king.

Speaker 2:

He's really cute. But I'm like yeah, cool harrison anyway, test jealous, we do a little segment around here.

Speaker 1:

What's it called? Hot girl hotline. So, for anyone new around here, we run a segment each week. It's called hot girl hotline. We put up a questions box on instagram and we ask you for your troubles, your woes, your business blues, whatever is keeping you up at night, and and then we offer our advice around it.

Speaker 1:

Tess, what is today's listener question? Today's question is oh, it's a bit of a sad one. I'm feeling really down. My team don't perform, no matter how much I train them or ask them to change. Our clients are spacing out their appointments more and more and the books are quiet. I don't even know what to do anymore. Please help. We're going to voice message this person later. Let's agree to voice message this person as well. I mean, we'll voice message on here, but we'll offer this person a little bit of extra support as well. Lovely, okay, okay. So I don't even want to tackle, like, the team stuff and the client stuff. We can give that person a little bit of advice extra in dms, but I want to talk about as a whole, the energetics that this person is bringing to the table and just the energetics in business, like in general, and to this person, I hope that you can be, if you can just sit with an open mind at the moment and an open heart.

Speaker 1:

please know that this conversation comes from a place of love and this could be a really pivotal moment in your life to change like everything for you. So here at the Conscious Alan, obviously, tess and I talk a lot about energetics and the way that we focus on things and the way that we bring things to the party. What are you smiling at? I just had like a really like oh my God, intrusive thought when you were like if this person like keeps their mind open, like blah, blah, blah, but I just think of you just going like I am your father, I can't. My meds are meant to have kicked in. They haven't. Is that something you can medicate though? No, definitely not, if I'm not the poster child for ADHD currently.

Speaker 2:

I sure am is that something that can be solved to block out.

Speaker 1:

That was what I was like. I thought like I thought I was actually playing it really cool, but obviously not Cool, so like our wait list has just been cut in half because of that comment. I actually thought like, oh, you've got a good handle on this.

Speaker 2:

I could see and me not being able to lie.

Speaker 1:

I was like, oh yeah, well, this is actually what's happening in my mind right now. Anyway, orbia, I was like, oh yeah, well, this is actually what's happening in my mind right now. So, anyway, how do I have the life that I have with these sorts of intrusive thoughts that come?

Speaker 2:

you are such a great mentor, and then you say oh my god it's so annoying, I know it's amazing that you're so good at your job.

Speaker 1:

I'm like a walking contradiction. Anyway, please don't listen to me. Listen to Nikki she's just about water all over my couch. Maybe don't listen to me. Listen to Nikki she's just spat water all over my couch. Maybe don't listen to either of us. Are you joking? Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 2:

Three, two, one.

Speaker 1:

I actually cannot believe I've said that out loud Three, two, one back in the room.

Speaker 1:

I should have said nothing. Yeah, look, I mean, a couple of years ago we would have restarted this podcast, actually. Okay, cool, so we are back in the room. Back in the room, yeah. So we talk a lot about business energetics, despite not leaning to that at all in the past. If you guys wanted to, I was just actually sampling a moment of unconscious energetics, so now we're going to get into the conscious energetics. So, uh, yes, what we do believe in is really focusing on the energy that we bring into every aspect. I mean, if that's not evident to you guys right now, I don't know what to tell you. All right, hang on, hang on, Let me get it together. Let's go. We needed like a beep, so we can like three two one.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So, hi, nikki, it's great to be back on a whole new, different day. Okay, hi, nikki, it's great to be back on a whole new, different day. Okay, so what?

Speaker 1:

we really do focus on is, you know, energetics and the energy that we bring into situations, and I always, from like from in my life, I always really wanted to believe this and I think I used to say that I believe this, but I don't think I truly believed it until I started working with Georgie and she talks so much about like you know where you focus and what you um, what energy you bring to the table, and the way that you see things, the way that you talk about things, like your brain literally doesn't know the difference between fact or fiction. So what you say, your brain will basically believe and and it will start to become become your reality a little too thoroughly in my case, but this has been the most valuable lesson I've ever had in business, because what I've really come to understand and believe in terms of manifestation and things like that and I've spoken really openly about my my journey with manifestation over the past few years and it was something that I always wanted to believe it didn't actually believe. Blah, blah, blah, lent into it, learned a method of it. So there's so much around what we bring into our businesses and the way that we show up in our lives and the way that we speak to things as well. So, really working on, like about 12 months ago, I made great an agreement with myself that I would really be mindful of the way that I was speaking about things and I basically made a little pact with my in my head of, like the way that you speak about things is going to come true. So be really careful and intentional with what you say, because if you say, oh my God, I think that team member is going to leave, then they're going to leave. Like I almost made a deal with myself of like the things that you say are going to be so truthful. That's how I had to like concrete manifestation and how powerful intention is. I basically had to say it's this black and white. If you say things, it's going to come true.

Speaker 1:

So, on the flip side of that, the things that I started saying to myself was we have this incredible business. We have so many opportunities. We gift women with the ability to come and be creative and be themselves and be supported in an environment, a workplace. We have this incredible salon that makes people feel safe and comfortable when they come and sit in our chairs. We have the ability to create any abundance that we want. We have the ability to create anything that we want.

Speaker 1:

Like I really started to look at that and go, cool, if I am able to speak things in a negative way and then they become truthful, what if I spoke about them in a positive way? What impact would that have? And I basically needed to convince my brain of, like, if you are, if you convince yourself and become open to the fact that great things can happen, then great things will happen. And rather than telling myself, no, that's not going to work. No, that's not going to work, that's not going to be good, that's going to be shit, which is I. No, that's not gonna work. No, that's not gonna work, that's not gonna be good, that's gonna be shit. Which is I had had 32 years, 31 years experience of just telling myself that the worst case scenario was gonna happen.

Speaker 1:

Like I, literally 32 years had been spent in my head of just being like no, that's shit, that's not gonna work, that's gonna be terrible, that person's gonna leave, that's gonna happen. But always a negative thought, always worst case scenario. And I had to talk to myself as if the best case scenario was going to happen. And what happened from there was, all of a sudden, these amazing things were happening to me. And anytime I was faced with you know, things of like okay, this has potentially like this, this thing's popped up, that's not good. I would look at okay, this is a redirection. This is happening for me, not to me. There's a good case scenario and this is happening for a reason. For me, this is going to be a gift. And then, sure enough, a couple months later, I'm like, look back and I'm like oh yeah, that was a gift for sure.

Speaker 1:

So what that did, though, from like a day-to-day level, was and I still work on this every day, every minute of every day like I'm still constantly working on it because I've had I've got 32 years to unlearn. But from a day-to-day's perspective, what this did for me was change the way that I saw things. So, rather than seeing it as my team are not performing, you know, even though I've trained them, and they're not, they're doing, you know, my team's numbers are doing so badly, blah, blah, blah. Whatever that person has said, I was able to look at it. Okay, I haven't quite found my way that the team responds to me, yet what am I going to do to go in there and inspire them.

Speaker 1:

Today, where is my responsibility in this? Where's my responsibility in the team not performing? Am I there supporting them? Am I there overseeing their process and tweaking it if we need to? Am I teaching them new methods that can help support them? Do they know enough? What are their blocks around this and the flip side of that, with the gappy books or the downturn, with appointments, whatever this person's saying? Again, what's my responsibility in that? What energy am I bringing in to that? Am I looking at my books with a glass half empty approach, being like, oh my god, there's only five clients in? Or am I looking at my books and saying five clients have chosen us to trust with their hair or their skin?

Speaker 1:

And I know that's really difficult when you're in it and you don't want to hear that but I truly believe that if you continue to focus your energy on what you don't have and what's going badly for you or to you, you will continue on a downwards path till eventually you just give up if you are open to convincing your mind and you don't have to believe it at first, but if you are open to convincing your mind otherwise that there is good things out there and that life is going to happen for you and not to you, you will have a complete 180 over time. It takes time but I promise you, if you actually 100 believe that life is good and you are able to have positive things around you and that you can have positive impact, even if you have a small amount to play with at the moment, you keep focus on, keep focusing on the positive things in every situation, in every day. Finding one little speck of gratitude, your life will start to. You would literally start to be rewarded, and it took me a long time to actually truly believe that and truly embody that. You've done really amazing um transformations around that and it is something that one day it just sort of starts making sense.

Speaker 1:

You and I have had different um experiences. Like I've always been quite an optimistic person, um, but I think really I've always energetically sorry. That makes it sound like I've said, like you're being pessimistic and I've been optimistic. I'm saying I have always been a glass half full person. I do always have um gratitudes always come easily for me. But I do think in these moments, especially when you are facing tougher times or um times where you know feel a bit foreign or a bit unusual, a bit scary, it's really hard to not slip into the lack mindset, and the lack mindset is one that will continue to fuel that fear. So if you are sitting in a moment where you're feeling, you know, concerned about the fact that there's only you know this many clients, or we've only made this much money, or I've got this team that aren't performing, whatever it is, it's your current, you know predicaments.

Speaker 1:

If we're coming from a place of gratitude, in those moments and finding silver linings or moments of like okay, great, we still have these incredible clients who have chosen us. As you said, we've got all of this opportunity to be able to do training, to do if it's a low performing team, I've got all this opportunity to train them, to inspire them, to continue, to support them to be better. Um, and there is so much like gratitude, opportunity truly everywhere, and grateful people always can find abundance, happiness, joy, pockets of it. It doesn't like there is really a thing and I know people can be like oh, you know, I'm grateful for you know the air that I'm breathing, the coffee that I'm drinking. When you actually start embodying gratitude, you really do feel so grateful for your life and every opportunity and moment that you have. So those moments of like lack or feeling that you're not, you know you've got a gap in the book or whatever it is, those moments become opportunities and time for you to be able to really level things up.

Speaker 1:

And energetics are a super powerful thing power of manifestation. You can change this energy constantly. We just had a voice message from one of our one-on-one clients this morning and sharing with us the power of her energy. This week she's had a lot of scarcity playing out for her. Um, really, you know, it's been, it's been tough for her. I'm not gonna like sugar coat this. She's, she's, and we've definitely been sitting with her of, like you know, all of this.

Speaker 1:

She's been having a big transitional year yes and she's really like, pushed herself, really doing the work and really getting the results from that work. She's, you know, brought in, she's got a really aligned team. She's got really clear on the vision that they're going. She's really clear on what she's doing. She's really giving it her all in this moment and even at the beginning of the week and we were checking in with her um on monday she was a bit apprehensive. She's like I do have a gappy a week.

Speaker 1:

She had a gappy week last week and she was just a bit concerned that it was going to play out again that way. She's said you know I'm going to be doing all the things, but we gave her a few strategies around it. One of the things we spoke about, which is one that I learned this from our first mentor really changed the game for me with how I showed up with money, and one of the biggest things is showing gratitude to money, showing respect for money, showing really good energy around money, and often the first thing we do if we've got a slow week or we're not turning over as many clients that we usually do, or whatever the reasons are the first thing we look at is what we don't have, and it's this whole focus on I. You know it's almost like entitled, like I should have more. I don't have that, so it creates a real negative energy around money.

Speaker 2:

It's like look what I don't have yeah.

Speaker 1:

And what we kind of workshopped together was changing how, like how we show up with money, how we show respect to money and stay with me on this Cause.

Speaker 1:

When I first started hearing this, I was like this is stupid, but it's truly. I believe this from my core now and it's a really important thing that I have playing out in every aspect of my life, not just in my business. One of the things about showing respect for money is how you treat money, how you show respect for it, gratitude for it and truly meaning that when you have it. So when money is coming in as we've spoken about time and time again you can have notifications of when money like at end of day settles into our business accounts and it will come through and tell us how much it is. Every single time that comes through, I sit in gratitude, no matter how big or small the docket is. I have gratitude for that docket coming in at all, the fact that I'm getting notified that there is abundance currently entering my business. Really sitting with that and sitting in that deep gratitude of thank you so much, I'm so grateful. Thank you for providing me for the life that I have that's what I like a money mantra every time.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, money.

Speaker 1:

I love you, I respect you, I retain you yeah, um, it goes down to how you treat money. If you have. If you're a person that has cash all around the place or you have notes crumpled up here or you find money in pockets and things like that, that's not showing respect to money. Showing respect to money is giving your money a home, having it laid really flat and crisp and really showing respect for it, really like again gratitude for it, and it does this again energetically. When I started treating money with respect and doing these principles that I'm sharing at the moment, it changed for me because I was able to retain it.

Speaker 2:

I was showing respect well, you cared more about it. It's hard to retain money, stuffing it in pockets or leaving coins around everywhere.

Speaker 1:

Exactly and I valued it and I really do One of the first things. If someone's coming to do the till and we're teaching a team member how to do the till, the first thing I teach them before I teach them about counting it is keeping all of the money in their separate areas. They all have their little homes. They're not all just kind of chucked in together. They've all got like the two dollars they've got their own pocket. They're one dollars, fifty cents, five dollar, ten dollar, twenty dollar, fifty dollar, hundred dollars. And the most important part of that is it's all organized and looking really neat constantly and all of the little cellophane on the windows is all you know, that little cellophane bit, that that part is all at the bottom left. That corner is on the bottom left, so all of the notes are facing the same way, the windows all down the same side and they are all flat and crisp. There is no crumpled up in half notes or squashed in or just kind of strewn about. They're all really neat and organized because if I'm showing respect to the money that I have, it is going to energetically come to me full force.

Speaker 1:

And we spoke about this is a client, about going through respect for money, really being intentional with what she wanted to get out of it. So seeing every client she had in this week of how we can really have gratitude for all of those clients having more opportunity to potentially upgrade clients into things. So going over what their hair goals are, what they're struggling with, what they're like, going into deep diving and really being able to like service the clients more, what more can I do to help this client get what they're wanting and, energetically, what has come up for her this week? So she went in with really clear intentions, showing respect to money and having so much gratitude for the opportunities that she had, she had a really clear focus on making sure that she was servicing her clients 150 percent and really giving them thank yous as well.

Speaker 1:

Yes, she said I made a pact with myself that every single time I've been doing my little money, mantras and my money, thank you. So we talk about this often when, if we're having, if we're having quiet weeks and we're wanting to call in more abundance, when a client hands over their card to pay and you put that process out on the f-boss machine, literally tapping that and saying thank you, thank you, thank you thank you to money. We're receiving money yes when you physically exchange cash as well when you pay a bill.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for the ability to be able to pay this bill yes I know and I release this money trusting that I know what's coming back to me exactly and she has really embodied that. So she has showed gratitude to every client that she's had. She's so grateful for all of the opportunities. She's used it to up level her team. She's used it to up level her client experience. She was sent a huge bunch of flowers this week from a client that literally said thank you. It was beautiful, big bunch of roses saying thank you, thank you for taking care of me.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for taking care of me. I absolutely love my hair beautiful, beautiful. Stunning. So client not only has paid for an incredible experience, had an incredible job of her hair, but then gone home and got flowers delivered to the salon to say thank you. Like how beautiful is that.

Speaker 2:

That's incredible.

Speaker 1:

Like to feel the need not only just to share how that person felt, but to organise something like that is just beautiful.

Speaker 1:

I've never done anything like that for someone that's taking care of me. I was like, wow, that's incredible, yeah, having all of these moments. She went in with a really clear intention. She was really going to be sitting in abundance and really like focusing not focusing on what she didn't have really sitting in gratitude, energetically, went through and cleanser salon, really setting the intention in there. She has voxed it through today, friday, letting us know I can't believe the difference in this week, energetically, remember.

Speaker 1:

Remember, when I said this, I really embodied all of those things. Here are all the things that I've done differently this week and turnover, wise emotion, like where I'm sitting and how I'm feeling. I'm sitting at such a high level. How crazy is the power of our energy. And I was like a hundred percent, a hundred percent.

Speaker 1:

So for anyone that is hearing this and thinking, I don't feel like that, I'm not sitting in and it's.

Speaker 1:

It's not even a money thing, it's a energy like, if you're not feeling energized at the moment, if you're feeling flat, if you're feeling tired, exhausted, burnt out over it, what's the point? I really implore you, challenge yourself this week with just flipping that mindset into gratitude. What are you really grateful for how are you showing gratitude? How are you really like you're going to have to do some work and really push yourself into a different mindset. But just by doing that, think of how different things could be, because I guarantee you what has come up for this client on Friday, four, four days ago on monday, she did not think that this was going to be how she would be feeling at the end of the week. Totally, and I really challenge anyone that's having these moments really push yourself to sit in that gratitude mindset and not in that lack and scarcity mindset and just see how you try one week and see how differently it goes yeah I challenge everyone to do that and please let me know at the end of the week how it feels for you.

Speaker 1:

It's pretty beautiful and life-changing and look, this can really be, as I said at the start of the app, like this can be a really pivotal moment for this person.

Speaker 1:

Um, and they may not be ready to hear this information I heard this information from so many different people before it truly landed for me about 18 months ago, um, and I would just be like, yep, yep, that makes sense. And then I just be like that was stupid advice. That I'm not like, that's not reflective of what I'm going through. Life is hard, so this person may not be ready to hear this information and it might be a bit confronting to hear this information, but if you are open to it and lean into it and you really commit to this, it can be absolutely life-changing.

Speaker 2:

Look, what just?

Speaker 1:

happened to our client this week? If she had been committed to having a low vibe, low frequency week with shitty energetics and shitty money stories and shitty client stories and whatever else was happening, that is exactly the way that her week would have played out. But she was committed to being there and showing up from a really conscious place, being really, really conscious and showing respect to money and calling money and abundance in and calling in happy clients that are feeling amazing about themselves. And look how her week has eventuated.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Because I know which path I'm choosing, absolutely, and it is that, like we always say that saying, where we focus, it will grow. So, exactly, if you're focusing on how shit it is, it will stay shit. If you're focusing on opportunity, abundance, amazing things, it's going to grow. There too, really does it's so powerful, absolutely. What a beautiful episode, tess. We end every episode in gratitude. What are you grateful for?

Speaker 1:

I'm grateful that I know how to change up my energetics, because that could have stayed in the ridiculousness yeah um, but even that, just taking that pause, shifting up our energy and being able to come back in and and like actually speak some sense.

Speaker 1:

First of all, um, I'm grateful for that because I have really learned, you know how to focus my energy, really hone in on it, uh, really honor it and feel it and really magnify it and amplify it. I feel like it's become one of my superpowers. I'm really grateful that I get to teach this to so many people, because it's something I'm truly so passionate about and I have the utmost belief in energy and how we can kind of harness it into a superpower, so I'm really grateful to be able to share this. It's a great, amazing gift when you know how to harness it and how you are going to choose to spend your energy. I think a lot of the time people can sit, coming from a reformed martyr and victim myself, where I would really put myself, as you know, poor me. Woe is me. Everything's happening to me.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

To now being able to say everything's happening for me. Even when it seems like it's all quiet, I can still find those pockets. So I'm really grateful for that. It's beautiful. What are you grateful for? I'm grateful for this person's vulnerability. I'm really grateful for that, because I think a lot of people would be feeling that, and a lot of people probably torture themselves internally thinking this and never actually voicing it, or like talking it out.

Speaker 1:

So I think a lot of people just sit there and they're like fuck, oh, fuck, it's quiet. Oh my god, what are we doing? What are we doing? And they're just like spinning around in their head, whereas this person's shared it and it gives us the opportunity to talk about it and give them some tools on how to actually change that. So I feel really grateful for that and I feel grateful for the giggles at the start that was very good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so glad I've shared my um.

Speaker 1:
