Speaker 1:

Here at the Conscious Salon, we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land in which we stand today, the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to the Conscious Salon. Welcome back to the Conscious Sal.

Speaker 1:

Yes, indeed, tis is having an icy bowl I've had to completely free mouth, so that didn't need to be mentioned. He's just trying to get me into trouble now it's a blue icy pole as well yeah, that's number one in the order that I eat them in is blue. Would you like me to go through all the colors that I ate in that routine? Not at all.

Speaker 2:

We're back with another great episode for anyone that's wanting to know.

Speaker 1:

At home it goes blue, purple, red, coke, pink, orange, and we shan't mess it up, but now we're back with another great episode of the conscious cell podcast.

Speaker 2:

And, uh, what makes tess's spine tick, which we don't have?

Speaker 1:

that was actually the clue to my adhd diagnosis, because a couple of rogue icy poles that were eaten out of routine by my family and someone said let's get her to a doctor In getting you diagnosed.

Speaker 3:

Someone was like she needs to be medicated in some capacity.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and now I'm slightly less rigid on it, like if sometimes, if I get to the packet I'm like oh, will you follow that one with?

Speaker 2:

like can we just throw it out there? Just have a pink one next. No, don't be crazy, nikki Can's a school night Do the packets of icy balls always come with the same amount of colours.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that's why it works so beautifully Like it's perfect. So I know if someone's eaten one first of all, you know you'd be like oh so I've just gone to sneak one of Tessa's icy balls, not a chance, I'll work it out very quickly.

Speaker 2:

You'd hate to have any.

Speaker 1:

This is the ASD side, though this is more of this is where my psychiatrist is like this is like you're really autistic, like traits, and I was like don't know what you're talking about. Don't you dare touch any of my Occipals and I do. I actually keep my family's is in the separate fridge outside, so it's a real delight living with me. Nikki's looking at me and she's like what is happening here. So, yeah, welcome to the conscious salon.

Speaker 2:

Conscious ice pole eating and what can we say to the like, those of you who have just joined us for the first episode? Um, hang around, it gets better, it does.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's not all just routine dicey pole eating and talking about the scheduling of them exactly there is one and yeah, actually I'm gonna pin myself because I'm going to say more and I'm actually I'm gonna say less, I'm to choose to say less.

Speaker 2:

What's the thing you've ever said? But we're back with another great episode of the fungicide podcast well, yeah, I mean, if that's any indication we sure are, but today we're talking about one of our favorite topics ever sex.

Speaker 3:

It's gonna be a very short job episode you're gonna have to write into us because we've got no tips or advice.

Speaker 2:

We're asking you for your help exactly pete young would write a few things in um. Hi, pete, but also let's get into the episode. Test the week. That was. How was your week?

Speaker 1:

great. The night train's visiting my area at the moment. Are we actually not going?

Speaker 2:

to talk about like literally my favorite story. I have to cut over the top of your week. That was because we have.

Speaker 3:

Let's start with you.

Speaker 1:

I'll throw it to you, nikki. What would you like to bring up so?

Speaker 2:

we went to hamilton island recently. We took the old man to hamilton island our dad's 70th birthday and we thought what better opportunity to pop 70-year-old Greg onto a little plane, stick him in a golf cart, go riding around Hamilton Island for a couple of days. Anyone who's been to Hamilton Island knows there's no cars, you just drive around in golf buggies. It's kind of like an alternate universe, don't you think?

Speaker 3:

It gave me like Stepford.

Speaker 1:

Wives.

Speaker 2:

I thought you were going to say old people universe and I was like, yes, that is what it is. It gave me, like Stefford Wives, vibes, but it was like kind of amazing.

Speaker 1:

It was definitely. Hamilton Island is unique. What's the story? I'm like I'm trying to pinpoint what it is. Are you joking? No, what Craig with the noodles? Oh God.

Speaker 3:

I actually. Then my brain went to like dinner I was like we have noodles. So we went out and uh and popped ourselves on the great barrier reef when it was happening, I was like can't wait to tell this story on the podcast because the ridiculousness of it is just too much.

Speaker 1:

It's absolutely absurd.

Speaker 2:

But first of all.

Speaker 1:

I'm definitely going to share some photos on this um episode lands with, uh, the outfits that we're all in.

Speaker 2:

We did go to the great barrier reef hang on when you go to, when you, whenever you go like snorkeling or scuba diving or anything like that, and the person, like some idiot, comes around with a camera when you're in your wetsuit and you're like I just never want to see these again.

Speaker 1:

But we actually asked it wasn't for their benefit, it was for ours Also. When you've got, the only one that really pulled that outfit off was mum, of course.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but like mum's body is like I don't know who's got like a hot body. That's like cold Lisa Rinna.

Speaker 3:

I was like who's got like like a hot body? That's like over 60, mom, obviously. But yeah, right now. So yeah, mom was. Mom looked amazing in the wet suit and tess and I look like dumplings and dad looks like jelly babies I mean, look, I thought I was giving Baywatch, I wasn't, I was giving Jelly Baby, at best. And Dad looked ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

Dad looked like he had flippers on his hand. He chose a suit that had like gloves.

Speaker 3:

He's walking around with oven mitts Dad was. He looked absurd, had like gloves. He's walking around with oven mitts, dad. He looked upset. Dad was wearing his mask and snuggle before we even got near the water. He was doing it on land. The water was like in the horizon and dad was had his mask and snuggle on.

Speaker 2:

he was super keen, but anyway. So we did go and swim in the Great Barrier Reef and, dad, I was a bit of a nervous swimmer because I don't know what it is about snorkeling, but I just like cannot relax.

Speaker 3:

When I just breathe normally I'm like, ow, my face is underwater, the top of my head is not. It's very foreign to like breathe through a straw and just know she did yeah to like breathe through a straw and just she did. Yeah, you started off going, yeah you were.

Speaker 1:

But you said because I remember, I can't remember one of our parents came over and I was like we're actually got this handled. I need you to get away from us until I've got this under control. But you did, you pulled yourself together. That's not the funny part though, no, so dad came over and said I want to be clear, like just to normalize that for you it's open water, it's like it is a bit it's not normal, like to feel.

Speaker 2:

I just couldn't get over mouth. Breathing is so foreign to me. All the work I've done as an evolved human an evolved human, uh, all the work that I've done with breath work you learn to breathe solely through your nose. So to swap and breathe in and out of your mouth, it was like completely foreign to me. I actually could not do it.

Speaker 3:

It was so difficult to do so mouth breathers listening to this, just going one of them, but yes, it's humbling, isn't it?

Speaker 2:

guys, close that little trap. And I'm enrolling a breathwork course. But dad did come over and offer me because I was obviously like flipping out a bit. I'm not a great swimmer at the best of times, but I was like definitely he's struggling in the water.

Speaker 1:

Look, you've been land dwelling for majority of your life, like nikki lost her hearing at like when she was 18. She hasn't actually put her head underwater in like years, so this is actually quite monumental yeah, totally.

Speaker 2:

But the real monumental thing happened when dad asked me if I wanted a pool noodle, because they had pool noodles on the great barrier for those that can't swim, they've got the poop, the pill noodles anyway I said yeah, I'd largely love a noodle. Then dad said to jess and mom would you guys like a noodle as well? They both said no, so dad went over to get a noodle. And what happened to us?

Speaker 1:

so he? All of a sudden, we just heard all this splashing and commotion and I turned around and I was like oh, god we could hear it from underwater that person has not got it together. No, it's dad. That's good. So dad was swimming with four noodles underneath him.

Speaker 3:

He didn't have four, he had about 12. No, he had four.

Speaker 1:

He bought one for each of us, even though only one person asked for it. He thought no, you know what I'm going to do everyone a solid. I had one, I'm going to do four.

Speaker 3:

He had three as preventatives.

Speaker 1:

He's unfamiliar with pool noodles. It's going to keep you out of the water, so if you have four underneath your chest.

Speaker 2:

Who is not familiar with the pool? If you are unfamiliar with the pool noodle and you're listening to this podcast turn it off because we've got more work to do before you work on your business.

Speaker 3:

Nothing better than laughing at your own joke Anyway.

Speaker 1:

So hang on. Just to give you an idea, one pool noodle will support you. Two pool noodles they give to those that really can't swim because like you're in an institution anyway so I was looking at him, going what the hell is he thinking? And he was yelling like pool noodles and me I was like yes, I can see them, thank you so much. And then we just hear of the um life-saving crew. They said to him like come on, mate.

Speaker 2:

That's absolutely ridiculous they thought dad had gone and gotten four poor noodles for himself and he obviously couldn't swim with them because there were so many noodles.

Speaker 3:

He was. He was kept so far afloat. He was above sea level, he was. He was at eye level with the captain he, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So they, they pulled him up and they were like listen, like you can't swim, you've got to put on a life jacket you look ridiculous and dad said, oh for the noodles, you need a life jacket hey, come, come in.

Speaker 3:

We've got to put on life jackets for the noodles. Dad started yelling at me if you've got a noodle, you need a life jacket on. And I was like dad, you actually need to get like out of the reef and go and get some serious help. He just could not follow any instructions his goggles were crooked.

Speaker 1:

He was insane.

Speaker 3:

He forgot he still had the snorkel in as he was talking, so he was talking through the snorkel. It was just ridiculous. We couldn't stop laughing at the time and when it was happening I was like I can't wait to tell this story to our podcast listeners. I forgot, we have no idea about our holiday, about our dad or what this has to do with owning a business.

Speaker 1:

It's really our own benefit to listen back to whenever we're having a down day.

Speaker 2:

So that was our week that was a week.

Speaker 1:

That was a long time ago. Well, I'm going to pop back to my story, because that was a ripper. That was good. I liked that story a lot.

Speaker 3:

Thank you for that I thought you would.

Speaker 1:

The lifeguards and crew of the Great Barrier Reef tour did not enjoy Greg and his shenanigans. I think they were very much had enough of his shit, which you know, by the end of the trip we all had. But Puffing Billy Night Train is here in my town. I think it's one of the hottest tourist attractions we have. We don't have a lot.

Speaker 2:

It's also minus one tonight, I think.

Speaker 1:

It's so chilly up here at the moment, but yeah, it's um, but I saw that tonight, which was really good. So that's on every single night for the uh, next two weeks and you can book via the booking link and you can't get a ticket, I went, I'm

Speaker 2:

taking the piss.

Speaker 1:

We're obviously not promoting puffing no, I'd love to, though I'm super open for that. Guys, I'm desperate to get on for next year, so anyone?

Speaker 2:

who doesn't live in melbourne. Puffing billy is like an old steam train. Um, it's really. It's actually beautiful. It actually runs thomas the tank. It runs from my house to tess's house, but it goes all through the rainforest. It's pretty breathtaking and beautiful, um, but apparently you can't get a ticket anyway, so can't get a ticket no, sold out. Tess, we're talking one of our favorite topics today in today's episode, and we are talking all things manifestation. So we had a direct message, a dm, as they call it when you used to call um.

Speaker 1:

I think you still do. Do you call them text messages or sms's?

Speaker 2:

I call them sms's I got an sms, yeah, so we got an sms, um on social media, from someone saying basically they were like indirectly saying, um, you know, in a roundabout way saying, does manifestation work? Which I understand that question. It doesn't offend us like it's a. It's a legitimate question and I know this person was coming from a good place. We've asked permission if we could share this on the podcast and do a whole episode about it, um, so that we can answer this question, because for us, manifestation has been life-changing. Obviously it's a huge buzzword at the moment, but we're going to get into it now, so we don't have a question necessarily, but Leah, let's play that jingle, so let's talk.

Speaker 2:

Manifestation. Manifestation for us has been life-changing. But a few years ago, before I fully believed in and embodied manifestation, I absolutely would have asked the same question does manifestation actually work? Did I believe it? No, do I believe it now? Yes. Do I embody it now? Yes, did I embody it then? No? So we also put up a questions box today on Instagram asking you guys to share your manifestation stories, because obviously we don't just want the two of us sitting here saying, yes, it's amazing for us. We wanted to share some listener stories, if you will. So, tess, I would love you to open up our instagram well, first of all, let's talk about what manifestation actually is.

Speaker 2:

So, essentially, what manifestation is is, um, the concept, the philosophy, whatever you want to say, the idea that, basically, what you think becomes reality. So what you think and what you believe and the things that you imagine in your mind become your reality in your everyday life. So you can manifest materialistic things. You can manifest bad things happening, you can manifest good things happening and, for us at the Conscious Salon, we believe deeply in energetics energetics in business, in relationships, in like world issues, and one of the things that's been a real anchor for us in the past couple of years is to have a really good mindset, a really strong mindset mindset, but also have a really optimistic, um and positive belief in our lives so that we can manifest great things to come to us.

Speaker 2:

So, tess, what are some of the things that you have and look. Also, I want to say I really understand why this person is saying like, does it actually work? Because a couple years ago I didn't believe that it worked. You probably didn't believe that it worked a few years ago as well oh, I feel like I've always had.

Speaker 1:

You've always been open-minded and you've always been like I actually think I've always had a pretty open mind to manifestation, like universally and like energetic wise. I've always been pretty plugged in to like that experience, which I think yeah, I truly feel like I've manifested so many things in my life, like even getting school captain in primary school Humble brag Well, nikki had no captaincy, src monitor, I was a can counter. I was a proud can counter.

Speaker 2:

How did you get?

Speaker 1:

the can counting Dal. That was from. I gave that. I dropped that legacy down to you.

Speaker 2:

Tested past the baton onto me With Mrs Wood yeah we loved doing can counting I don't know what.

Speaker 1:

I think we did that literally for an icy pole, which evidently has become a real passion of mine. So thank you, mrs Wood, for that little nudge as well, but nunch as well. But I truly believe in like that's one of the first things I remember manifesting. I really wanted to like become the school captain. I was up against some great candidates. One of them, one of my best friends, wilkes sorry doll to take you down, but I was desperate to get school captain. I feel like that's where I even really started with that like manifesting. That I remember, like not necessarily praying or anything, but just really believing that I where it even really started with that like manifesting. That I remember, like not necessarily praying or anything, but just really believing that I would be a really good choice as school captain. I could do it, I was the best person for it and that was already mine. And then it came full circle.

Speaker 2:

Interesting.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, it started for me in primary school, I reckon.

Speaker 2:

There you go. I've just always had a very like logical mind. I'm very black and white thinker and I'm very like I would. I would absolutely go as far to say I was always like a conspiracy theorist over, like a woo-woo sort of person. Um, like you know back like I'm like an old school conspiracy theorist, like in the fun way, not like not in recent years, yeah people. I'm not even touching that, please don't tune out.

Speaker 1:

Stay with us, give us a moment.

Speaker 2:

But you know, I do think that, the more that I learn about manifestation and full disclosure, I hired a manifestation mentor to work with, worked with her for a year to really open myself up because I believed that I had a real problem with the energetics of money and the energetics of business and how I thought and it has been like the most important mindset coaching I think I've ever had in my entire life. And now so much of what we do at the conscious island is based around manifestation and I have manifested so many incredible things into my life, good and bad. Like I've manifested, manifested some awful things as well. But, um, I wanted to share a really beautiful manifestation story that I had recently captaincy.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I can really what?

Speaker 2:

so I went to. I shared recently on the podcast actually that for pete young's birthday I took him to a beautiful hotel room. We had like a dirty night in the city cool. What could be like a dirty night out like you don't know what I'm talking about? Oh, I think, if you're saying you've got a hotel room, we had like a dirty night in the city cool, what could be like a dirty night out like you don't know what I'm talking about?

Speaker 1:

oh, I think if you're saying you've got a hotel room and it was a dirty night out, I think everyone's got a pretty good idea. It was a dirty night in.

Speaker 2:

But anyway, my point is that we we got a really nice, beautiful hotel room bottle of shower cup, of bottles of champagne, um, and it really wanted to spoil pete for his birthday, pete young a beautiful woman, q Barry White.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we've got it.

Speaker 2:

We've got the idea Very good.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, nicky Face signed me and Pete was in the bath. I was like, excellent, that's a side for me as well, a little treat for me on this birthday adventure.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. We love clean men.

Speaker 3:

But we did have a nice room and really wanted the episode when um, it was Mr Nicola.

Speaker 2:

Mr Nicola was one of my favorite stories. Yeah, so it's the Mr Nicola if you know, you know if you know, you know absolutely. So anyway, we went out and had this beautiful night out. Anyway, when we got to the hotel, it was a beautiful room and a really nice hotel and the nicest hotel experience I've ever had. And when we got there, said to me we've given you an upgrade. And I was like cool.

Speaker 1:

Of course you have.

Speaker 2:

Often, though, like that's never surprising to us, because we always say like, thank you, universe, we always know that there's going to be upgrades and good things coming our way, kind of like when lucky girl syndrome went like wild on the internet, I was like that's just manifestation 101. It, manifestation 101, it's really like believing that good things are going to happen to you. So this wasn't a surprise, but obviously we were very delighted and happy, beautiful. So then someone knocks on our room and brings in chocolates and like a welcome letter, which was really beautiful, and that was just again, just something. I was like, oh, that's really nice touch, whatever. So all these like different things started happening on the weekend and we kept on like having different manifestations come to fruition, um, of just like things getting better and better and better, and we always know that when we're traveling or when we are out and about or doing things, we always know that good things happen to us. So, interestingly, about four weeks ago so that was back in April, it's now July so I was logged into my bank account and I saw 450 appeared in my bank account and when I clicked on the 450, it was a refund from, so it was the charge of my hotel room. Three months later, a random refund of $450.

Speaker 2:

And Manifestation 101 tells us that money can come to you. Like, if you're manifesting money, money opportunities, different manifestations can come to you in very mysterious ways. So a lot of people a lot of the time are like, oh, I'm manifesting abundance in my life or I'm manifesting opportunities, and they immediately are like I'm going to have to have a, a pay rise, but money can come to you in so many different ways yeah, pete young opened the laundry cupboard the other day and he's like I opened the cupboard and a hundred dollars fell out we're all going around to pete young's house to open all the cupboards, but also pete young like constantly just having like.

Speaker 2:

So he's like the manifesting king, but an unconscious manifester.

Speaker 1:

It just like flies, but it is like that, though, because sometimes you can be cool, I'm manifesting more money and you might like put your hand in your jacket pocket and there's 50 bucks in there, totally. Or it could be something where you like find something. You're like, oh, I'm going to sell that and then that's going to bring more money in. Like it's, it works in that well.

Speaker 2:

Yep, it could be that you have a tax return that comes in that's bigger than what you expected.

Speaker 1:

It could be A great, long-lost uncle that dies and has left you his inheritance. I mean that has never happened. That I know of. It always happens in movies.

Speaker 3:

But never in real life, but yes, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I had this, I have had a couple of emails saying that this like long lost lawyers that are coming to like send me uncle, whoever's uncle who, yeah, but yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I had this reverse charge, so I had this beautiful, incredible experience and because I believe, because I was open to receiving and because I have gratitude for receiving, more things flow effortlessly to me, because I always know that I'm going to be taken care of. I never have expectation that you know I'm going to have this or this, but I always receive everything with gratitude. And when I had this reverse charge, it was three months later and it was 450. It's the full amount that I paid for the hotel room. You know, did I call bookingcom? No, but it was really well, they've heard.

Speaker 1:

Now they're on to. You shouldn't have given the website away?

Speaker 2:

no, I have. If it was a small business or an airbnb, I definitely would have contacted them, but it was um bookingcom monsters. But I like I just was like wow, I have been like money comes in mysterious ways. I had this like weird refund from how strash and I said the website, but I had this weird refund but yeah, I had this like reverse charge and like crazy money can just come to you in mysterious ways.

Speaker 2:

There's a really like easy example. When people often think of manifestation, they think of money and how money can come to you, and everyone's like oh, but I get paid this amount each week, so I'll never be able to manifest more money, but it can come to you in such unusual ways, totally so. We wanted to share some stories of yours that you guys shared to us on our questions box on instagram yeah, so far I think the school captain one's winning, because I did that when I was 11.

Speaker 2:

Great um, but after we do that as well test, I really would love to share some like three little cracky teas on manifestation and how our community can get clearer with manifestation all right, great, well, I've got the first one.

Speaker 1:

This is from actually, it's from one of our one-on-one clients and she said I saw I'll blank out the name I saw a team members. Well like she wanted this team members profile on Instagram and had stalked and saw their work beautiful work and wanted them to apply, but saw that they were working for themselves so thought they weren't looking interested in working for someone. Two weeks later they handed in their resume. I love that. It's a good one, isn't it? That's beautiful. One of our beautiful crew's boyfriends, race, who's a true king, has messaged through and said manifested a dream girl and got a queen. But seriously, I was at a low point, started really putting some yards in on myself, didn't believe in manifestation, until I met Han that's his girlfriend and now dream girl as well, and I realized I got back what I put in really quick, hottest thing you've ever said Rees.

Speaker 2:

Beautiful Reesie and you did manifest yourself, a queen. I can confidently say we have manifested every single team member that we've ever had, can confidently say we have manifested every single team member that we've ever had. We've manifested some clients and finally we manifested um, that client who wrote in before. I'm not going to say her name because she might not want us to tell the story, but we manifested her. We talked about her and working with her and how much we loved her business. We reached out to her and said we're doing this retreat. You should definitely come. One spot had become available because one of our clients was having a baby, um, and couldn't make it to the retreat. So we reached out to her and said you should totally come, um, and then she couldn't come because she'd had a little baby at the time, like she's. Her baby was too little for her to leave and she said um, but let me know if you've got any one-on-one spots opening up.

Speaker 2:

So, we literally manifested working with her.

Speaker 1:

Yes, our auntie is given a little. She's actually sharing her manifestation so it might not work for her anymore. She says that she always says Hail Mary, full of grace, please find me a parking space. And it works every time.

Speaker 2:

Amazing.

Speaker 1:

She's just given away the secrets. She's never finding a car's face again. Happy for you all. Right next one we have. I manifested the salon space of my dreams after being rejected. Long story short, we are moving to a more aligned space for our business and out of a toxic environment with continuous roof floods and problems is this, oh my god did I write this in we've had so many reforms.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, that's so amazing. How good I love that perfect.

Speaker 1:

Love that. I love that one. That's so beautiful. All right, next one, uh. Manifesting winning a retreat. I pictured my name being drawn down, what I would wear, what I would work on whilst I was there. That's beautiful, wow.

Speaker 2:

Imagine manifesting a retreat, that's amazing, pretty spectacular.

Speaker 1:

During the first COVID lockdown, we were all claustrophobic in our old home. We had renovations done and had it exactly how we wanted it Somewhere I could work from and we could have a space for the family. I manifested this so much that I even designed my workroom and the layout that I would have. I started purchasing equipment, bedding, everything, not having that house nor the room. Very long story short, we actually went to bid on this house and lost it at auction and whilst I was devastated, I knew that we would get it, which we did. Four weeks later, when the owners contacted us to say they're ready to negotiate again Whoa, so that's cool. They actually moved home. I thought, got it. Sorry, like well, I've read that wrong, but what happened was in their old home. They just had the renovations done exactly how they wanted it. But it's still like this person still wanted so much more, somewhere they could work from, create the space, blah, blah. So then manifested this house, found it didn't get it, but then the owner contacted saying they wanted negotiations that is so amazing.

Speaker 2:

That is so cool. All right, I want to share one 2023 christmas, writing down all that was to come in 2024, one of them being my online business website and then being gifted it by you incredible ladies. That's beautiful hashtag pen to paper. This beautiful human we um, so we give to scholarship every time, um, we run our online courses, so we either refund someone who has enrolled um, like just quietly refund because obviously we believe in the power of manifestation and gifting and receiving um, or we reach out to someone who we think would love the course and just give them a ticket, and this was her.

Speaker 2:

So that's so beautiful, so beautiful yeah, love it. So there's some really nice manifestation stories that we wanted to share, because I think understanding that manifestation literally happens all around us, all day, every day, and it is so powerful and so true and so available to you if you want to engage in it? Yes, absolutely, and if you want to be a part of it. It's like it's available to you at any time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And I really think you know be a part of it. It's like it's available to you at any time. Yeah, and I really think you know, as a as a logical person and as a very black and white person, it can be really hard to get your head around the concept of it. So I really want to talk and share, because so much of business is manifestation and so much of what you attract in business you need to do through manifestation, whether it be good or bad. I believe that you know, in business, we have absolutely manifested some terrible things happening, um, and we've also manifested some amazing things happening so test.

Speaker 2:

I want to give three pack pracky teas. Obviously we love a pracky tea around here, but we want to give three really beautiful pracky teas for our listeners who may never have engaged with any manifestation before or who might be on the sidelines thinking I think I believe it, but I'm not 100 sure, and they just want some techniques to start with I think for me, the most important one is to like speak it into existence, whether that means writing it down and keep journaling about it getting really specific, but it is literally like creating it, like speaking it and like believing that it's already happening so.

Speaker 1:

I think, first of all, getting really clear on what you're wanting, and it's uh, you know, as we've spoken about so many times, you know, I know in one of our earlier episodes, when I truly manifested this house, I feel like the layout of it, the way that it is, like I resonate with that person that was sharing how they've got their dream home, because I did the exact same thing. The only thing I didn't manifest out exactly where it was the location. I wanted it originally about 15 minutes down the road. However, I've got it exactly like now.

Speaker 1:

I'm so grateful as to where it is oh so good, but in that, when you're thinking about it, I didn't just go okay, great, I want to get a new house. I was so clear on like how each room look, how it felt being in it, like literally picturing where it was going to be on a hilltop, I'm on a hilltop. I didn't want to have a lot of neighbors. I've got one neighbor and a park on the other side, like joyous for me being in trees, being in all of these things. I was so specific on. It wasn't just like, oh, I want a three or four bedroom house. It was down to the details of. I wanted to have certain shutters that I really liked, that are on all of my windows.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to have really like, really specific about what it was going to look like. I wanted to there to be floorboards. I wanted there to be wood. I didn't want a lot of carpet. I mean, I do have a little bit of carpet, but not a heap. It's mainly just in the bedrooms, in the lounge room. Everywhere else is um floorboards or tiles. I wanted to have a really big, beautiful bathroom. I wanted it to be really light. I wanted to be in nature. I wanted it like so specific. I wanted to have an area that I could make my own with, having, like, a yoga gym area. I wanted mick to have a music room yes, we get it.

Speaker 1:

You've got a great house my point is that I wanted. I was so specific about what I wanted. I didn't just say I want to have a music room, tess, we get it, you've got a great house. My point is that I wanted. I was so specific about what I wanted. I didn't just say I want to buy a house. It was really like this is how I would every day envision this, how it would feel being in it, what I would feel getting it, how I would like, how it was already there for me. I just needed to find where it was and even the way that I found it was in the archives of a real estate website that I found that. The real estate agent asked me how I found it, because she'd pulled it down like it didn't make sense how it did, because I truly believe this house was meant for us. And when I met the old owner, she said this house is meant for you, like you were the people that meant to be here. It's like, yes, doll, hand over the keys and let's start negotiating.

Speaker 2:

She was like an old school hippie, wasn't she?

Speaker 1:

she was a healer. I was obsessed with her. She cleared all the energy, all the like. Oh my gosh, she said that perfectly. But yeah, when she was like this house is made for you, I was like incorrect, jenny, it is, pack your bags. But that's the point. So for me it's speaking it into existence. So getting really clear on what it is that you're wanting to draw in, and like really getting clear on it, not not just saying I want a maserati or I want a car. If it is a maserati, what's, what's the colors, what's the interior? How are you going to feel in it? What's it look like when you're driving it?

Speaker 2:

how there's nothing wrong with manifesting materialistic things. I want to say that's not at all. Often people like get really judgmental about that. But there's nothing wrong with manifesting materialistic things.

Speaker 1:

I've manifested plenty. As I said, I've manifested a house. I'm so grateful for that, though I truly like the gratitude I have, and but that's the thing. Now, when jenny was saying this house was made for you, I was like, indeed, absolutely I know it and and so when it comes, you trust it and you know it's there, what's one from you.

Speaker 2:

So mine is speaking it into existence, mine is, I think, a really important part of manifesting is surrender. So obviously like taking action, like going on the real estate websites, but there is an element of surrender and letting the universe do its thing like, not micromanaging the universe which is something that georgie taught me, the the mentor that I worked with is the surrender element is really important.

Speaker 2:

So just trusting that you know that this will happen, it will come to you, but letting it come to you in its own time. You know, I didn't specifically know that, like I was going to get a refund from um, that mysterious hotel company that we don't talk about, but I didn't know that we were going to get that. Yeah, but I just I always trust that money will come to me in mysterious ways and I'm always open to receiving and it just popped up. But if I get too finicky with the details, it doesn't work, it doesn't come to me easily. So for it to flow to me, I have to surrender, which for a control freak and I know all you guys are going to be control freaks listening to this, because you're all bloody business owners and naturally we end up as entrepreneurs.

Speaker 2:

But as a control freak, you know you, you really, the art of surrender is difficult so surrender is really important. Yeah, the third one I think that we can both agree on is really Really understanding, like fundamentally, that you are worthy of and that you deserve to receive.

Speaker 1:

It's funny I was saying believing it, trusting that it's already done. Yes, believing it, knowing that it's going to happen for you.

Speaker 2:

Jinx yeah. So, I think that there really comes like you got this house because you knew that you were worthy of this house. You know that refund money came to me because I know that you were worthy of this house.

Speaker 2:

You know that that refund money came to me because I know that I'm worthy of always receiving money. So actually understanding and having as one of your core beliefs that you are worthy of receiving this, and knowing that it will come to you in whatever way it's meant to and, if it doesn't play out exactly that way, understanding and knowing that the universe is looking out for you you know, I feel, like everyone's, the universe has your back.

Speaker 2:

But well, even with that, I literally think that you know, if you believe at at your core that good shit happens to you then it will.

Speaker 1:

I, one of my favorite sayings is what's meant for you won't pass you and I truly believe that what's meant for you won't pass you. So, and I truly believe that what's meant for you won't pass you. So if you are meant to be in that car, in that house, getting that job, getting that, whatever it is that you're manifesting for yourself, what's meant for you won't pass you.

Speaker 2:

I agree, great, beautiful episode, my friend. Uh what are you grateful for?

Speaker 1:

So grateful to everyone that wrote in with their manifestation stories. I know there were quite a few that we couldn't get to because they were voice notes. Appreciate everyone sharing their voice notes. But, um, I'm really grateful for everyone sharing how manifestations worked for them, because it's one thing if we just sit here and tell you about, you know, school captaincies and so on and so forth, but, or hotel refunds or houses or some of the few things that we've manifested my big accomplishment in life the hotel refunds.

Speaker 1:

You've got some more like glamorous ones than that, but I'm super grateful for everyone that's shared, because there were some really inspiring stories there of how manifestations work, and from a variety of people so thanks everyone.

Speaker 2:

I'm grateful to all of you I agree, I'm really grateful for um, the hotel refund, because there is so much magic available to us, like truly, and I'm really grateful that a couple of years ago I was like I am going to push out of my comfort zone and explore this a little bit because I'm very interested in it. I really wanted to believe in it, um, and I just needed a little bit of a helping hand. But I'm really grateful that I actually explored it because there is so much magic available to us every single day if we want to see it and if we want to actually experience it. And it changed everything in my life.

Speaker 2:

Not from a materialistic point of view, like that has been, like a byproduct of it, but from a mindset point of view, just as a happier human and a more optimistic person and just a more grateful person, more than anything how hot's that.
