Speaker 1:

Here at the Conscious Salon, we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land in which we stand today, the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to the Conscious Salon. Welcome back to the Conscious podcast indeed, this is holding a cold.

Speaker 1:

I was just thinking I'm sitting here in bed in my bed. We're filming in my bed today. It's always taken over the um normal room.

Speaker 2:

That we we're recording, we're not filming. We're not filming in bed. That was a past life.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, it's very long time ago, um, and you'll struggle to find those. So if anyone's like starting to google, I wouldn't bother. Um or try, I don't mind. See what you can find. How many of you will actually do it? Now let's see um, but no, I'm sitting here with a cold um face washer on my face because I gave the dog a flea treatment um this morning and then she doesn't have fleas, just like the end of the usual heartworm, and I don't know why. I feel like I need to defend that.

Speaker 2:

I was trying to wear it if you've got fleas um.

Speaker 1:

I had scabies once, so okay, well, we'll touch on that in just a moment. Um, but yeah, no, gave the dog the, the monthly flea treatment, the heartworm, whatever, the, uh, you know the, the three-in-one, the one that. The tube everyone knows Advanton, I think I actually don't do that Cool. That's why I do do it, because my dog is around Nicky's dog quite often. Your dog is literally the itchiest boy.

Speaker 2:

He's an itchy fellow but he's got like a lot of skin issues.

Speaker 1:

He does. He's an itchy fella but he's got like a lot of skin issues, a lot of right. Yeah, fleas will do that. But anyway, the long story short, I um forgot about the flea treatment on the back and I've just given her a big cuddle, and right in the eye as well, and it's so sensitive there and um, honestly, is it a burn, do you think, or is it just like irritated it might?

Speaker 2:

be it's disrupted the skin's barrier. I mean half our listeners could probably have a little look at it, but if anyone wants to a very easy client test? Uh, so test the week that was other than the burn yeah, now the lack of fleas for me.

Speaker 1:

So that's good. You want me to come and have a little nestle on you so you get rid of yours you might catch them, for me and marty, though, exactly um how's it That'll start again?

Speaker 2:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

How's the week been? It's been good. It's been quiet. This week like within my personal life, not within work's been, you know, as usual great, fantastic, All the good things, but personally pretty dull, which has been great. We had a dinner on Saturday night. We did. That was good fun. We had Do night we did that was good fun. We had um, do you want to tell people about my tantrum? Well I was sort of good it was terrible.

Speaker 2:

There's a couple I cracked it because pete didn't get me my amaretto sour mix um and I was I did say, mick did say was this all over? A drink sounds like judging me, um, but it, yes, it was all over a drink. And what's the saying? Don't cry over spilt milk, we'll, we'll cry over spilt Amaretto.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was going to say spilt Amaretto, but I get it though, like when you put that idea in your head and, honestly, mick and I have got like we did like half an episode about you not getting a chicken pie once, so yeah, how many times we touched on the icy poles to understand.

Speaker 1:

Like, understands it's me. But um, mick and I have actually got like an abundance of alcohol here. I feel like we're like, we're very liquored up household, which is funny because we're not huge drinkers, jokingly. But we have a I don't even know where it's all come from you do have a good bar, but um did not have the amaretto and um where I live, we don't have a dan murphy's or anything like that for walworths?

Speaker 2:

uh no, they don't.

Speaker 1:

So I was a bit prickly um, it's about a, I think, half an hour to 40 minute drive.

Speaker 2:

I'd had a really challenging parenting weekend, like actually I'd had a challenging parenting week, and any of the people listening who are parents of toddlers which I can only say that for like a couple of weeks, I think, because my son's turning four in a few- weeks.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he is about to turn four.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but um, I'm having a really hard time parenting and I was just like I was looking forward to an amaretto sour all day. Um and pete went and picked up some cactus shock, which, like obviously that starts the um, the frustration off, and then it just tipped right over the edge when, pete, you forgot the drink and then you can't, you can't. He was around the corner, he's like oh no, I forgot your drink and I just was.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was not impressed mama wasn't having it, and that's all right. Um, so then, yeah, pete went home with his tail between his legs, didn't actually make it here, and, um, the rest of the night was all right. It was all right, no, it wasn't okay. Well, I did throw a tantrum I mean, this is very vulnerable, isn't it?

Speaker 1:

conscious, conscious, conscious, you're human as well, but um we have to stay relevant I hate to say this, I don't know how to say this any other way. When you left, it was actually really good because he started playing the game that mum bought and that was great. She ended up staying until like 10 30, which is unheard of for allison so brilliant oh, did she not say that she stayed the night she? Had to get home. 10 to um old father pollock who's? Been um very unwell of late so he has.

Speaker 1:

He has anything else you want to share from this week? I know you've had any any wins?

Speaker 2:

I still. I still don't have my amaretto sour mix, but, um, I might stop and get some on the way.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I feel like that's something we really need to um to spruce up. I feel like all of us will now have a bottle on tap oh yeah, ready to go.

Speaker 2:

You guys saw the consequence of not having one around last weekend.

Speaker 1:

Can I be a bit controversial? I hate sours. I think they're all yuck. All right, cut that mic. Leah. No, I know Like no one agrees with it. I can't do them. They're just why they're trash. It's a beautiful drink. Everyone from Vanderbilt Brawls is going to come and throw a drink in my face if this ever makes it over to sheena, and exactly yeah but tess, we're back with another episode of the conscious on podcast.

Speaker 2:

Now one of my favorite things to do around here is our little segment. I mean, it's pretty much what I have closely followed by closely followed by well, sip an amaretto sour while doing this segment. So, tess, what's our segment called hot girl hotline? So, for anyone new around here, we run a little segment each week. We put up a questions box on instagram and ask you for your troubles, your woes, your business blues, whatever is keeping you up at night, and then we offer our opinion or advice around it. Tess, what's today's listener question?

Speaker 1:

All right. Today's question is any tips on how to block out the noise of others when so many are having such hard times in business? Yep, Block everyone.

Speaker 2:

You're in the right place, girlfriend. This is something that comes up a lot and, look, I'm going to be totally honest. This we are in business. We have a salon, we are running a small business, like we understand, and whatever you guys are going through, it's likely that we're going through it as well. Um, this previously I'm assuming people are talking about when they say hard time in business, I'm assuming they're talking about like either money or team or time or all of the above.

Speaker 2:

So, for me, what really helped and changed and I know that we hear this all the time this is one of the biggest things that we often talk to our private clients about. We'll say to them, like, knowing these things and being able to recite these things is one thing, but truly embodying these things is something completely different. So, when we talk about you know, money, mindset or mindset around how we view things and see things, this can be really subjective to where you're spending your time and what you're absorbing. But, again, really understanding how to embody something and actually like walk the walk versus knowing what to say to like make it look like you actually believe that. What do you think before we get into some like practical tips and yeah, I mean just before we do.

Speaker 1:

I have just noticed that we're pretty much wearing the exact same outfit we're both wearing our conscious salon jumpers with our lavender a slightly pinkish lavender, more of a lilac and you've got a lavender and we've both got buns in our hair, so it just dawned on me. Well, you stood up and then I had a look at your outfit. Yeah, I stood up to show you our uniform. Yeah, that's right anyway, um, I did you hear anything?

Speaker 1:

I just said I'm thinking of how I'm going to answer this, because I'm naturally quite a competitive person, but with business I'm not. So if it's a sport match or a game or anything like that, I'm going to be so competitive and like, yeah, I've got a really fierce competitive side to me. However, when I think of business, I really do feel like I've always kind of been in my own lane, granted that lane's pretty groovy.

Speaker 2:

We go to like events and I'm like, oh, there's so-and-so from this. Yeah, it's like who? Oh yeah, I literally know no one, I know no one, and you don't care to know anyone either.

Speaker 1:

You're like, yeah, cool, I don't. I don't think that's a bad thing. Actually I was feeling like I should feel differently. But the people I think you know that's relatable of me actually, because I am a people of the people, a person of the people and I yeah, I don't know, it's just, I've always just found it really easy to just do head down, bum up. Also probably because the first like eight and a half to nine years of business, I was just kind of there to like bring in the oh god, that sounds so like egotistical bringing the money, but I was like more that I was able to, like my superpower was being on the floor, whereas now it's changed?

Speaker 1:

how was like yeah, doing clients turning yeah, 100 um I'm, I've just I've got a really sensational mindset with being able to drown out noise really easily. Um, I don't have any tips of how. I just have always found that easy to be able to. Just I find it, I think, because how I feel when I listen to negative things or yeah, things that, um, yeah, make me feel bad. I really don't like that feeling. So I tend to just focus on feeling good. It sounds quite toxic, positivity, but it seems to work. So I don't know, I don't want to like sound like. I'm advising that. I've just found it easy to just not get bogged down, trust that it's all going to work out and it usually. I haven't been wrong yet.

Speaker 2:

So I feel like you and I are going to view this from two completely different points so for every single person will have like a money mindset, like archetype, almost like a money mindset default. So my money mindset default has always been lack and scarcity yeah your money mindset.

Speaker 2:

Default naturally is avoidant, so if we look at like prior to doing the money work, I'm just talking money specifically for a second, but prior to doing money, work, your uh, you went naturally to avoidant and then obviously you did the work and now you, now you're actually really driven by, like I feel like it's giving you so much fuel to be really driven by loving numbers and data yeah, now it's um and like.

Speaker 1:

Ironically, now you handle that in both businesses. I healed it and like mastered it, naturally seriously. It's that time of the episode to you where I refer to my adhd. But that is literally the definition of hyper fixating becoming a master and then doing it um, leah, can we just get?

Speaker 2:

a little ding bell when it does 80 hd. I would actually love it I do love a tick. So yes, please, leah, I'd love it yeah um, but we have very different mindsets around this, so I was. I started business with a complete lack mindset and scarcity mindset and it literally lasted like 11 years. No, sorry, 10 years we're about to be 11 and about 18 months ago I started working with um, a new mentor, and like and I remember sitting with every mentor we've ever sat- with.

Speaker 1:

If you say this person's name, I'm also going to say every time that Nikki mentions this person. From now on, we also need a sound she changed my life.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she changed so much of my life.

Speaker 1:

So so did I.

Speaker 2:

You don't mention me every episode okay, I won't say her name, but you know she worked with someone who really changed her life with manifestation. Yes, manifestation money mindset. No, because I feel like for me in business it was the biggest thing that held me back and kept me stuck and kept.

Speaker 1:

I know, but until we've got a collaboration or a sponsorship, I'm gonna start pulling that back.

Speaker 2:

Someone helped Nikki heal that, and now well now, and then now we've even adapted and changed, um, you know, learnings that we've done over the years and made it our own and, you know, added our own flair to to things as well, um, but so much of what we teach in the conscious salon is based around energetics in general.

Speaker 2:

So not necessarily just money energetics, but just energetics in general.

Speaker 2:

Um, but one thing that I found that might be really helpful for this person is like we're getting some cracky teas, but the biggest and most important thing that you can do for your mental health and for the health of your business and for the commitment to change and work on your money mindset I'm assuming this person's probably in a lack money mindset, and I say that with no judgment and just from, like an observer's point of view, but being really mindful of the rooms that you put yourself in, so noticing the conversations that are being had around you, because and this is the same way we answer this when it gets brought to us from private clients or within our community or even within our team, because they have blocks and issues around this when they're having bad weeks, this comes up for them as well.

Speaker 2:

So the thing that we always talk about first and foremost is being really conscious of what you're consuming, so being really conscious of what conversations that you're sitting in and what you can actually do to make sure that your surroundings are clear, clean. So if you think of, like it almost like a filtration system, whatever mentality you have, whether it's completely abundant or completely lack and scarcity, whatever mentality you have, I could walk out my door right now and find evidence to support both of those arguments that the world is completely abundant or the world is completely financially fucked.

Speaker 2:

I could find, by going out my door for two minutes, I could find things to support both of those things. And what happens is, if you, you know you've had a great week, um, and you've had, you know, amazing like fully booked with great clients, um, you've had a great retail week. All the clients are rebooking, your team's happy, your clients are happy, you've produced great work. And then all of a sudden, you go to check the bookings and four clients have cancelled for the next day. And then you hop on instagram and you see heaps of people in different salons advertising availabilities.

Speaker 2:

And then you listen to a news report about the economy. All of a sudden you're like three steps down the rabbit hole. So then you start to this thing that you maybe sort of believed. You start to think, oh, now there's all this evidence to support that. So all of a sudden you go down the rabbit hole and then it becomes part of your belief system.

Speaker 2:

So, even if it's only a temporary belief, it actually becomes part of your belief system and that whole week that you just had previously, that was full of amazing things, whether it was abundance of money, clients, positive reviews, great team, whatever. All of that stuff goes out the window and you don't even believe that anymore. So it's so important to be aware of where you put yourself, because we can put in a filtration system, like, if we think of a glass of water before it gets filtered, it's all that yucky stuff that we don't want to actually drink and put into our body. Our minds are exactly the same, so we want to think of them as a filtration, a filtration system, and it's actually our duty, on our mind, to put in a filtration system so that we can stop those filtration a word?

Speaker 1:

are you making that? We can stop those? Is filtration a word or are you making that up? Filtration, yeah, of course it's a word. Is it, yes, a filtration system?

Speaker 2:

It's literally a word Filtering system.

Speaker 1:

I know, Filtering system.

Speaker 2:

Okay, well, filtering system.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, you said filtration three times. I've never heard it before in my life.

Speaker 2:

My point is like wear a sieve, basically around your mind be really aware of what does or doesn't come into that.

Speaker 2:

So, for example, if I call up Rachel, there you go. If I call up Rachel and I say to her you know how's everything going this week? How are you guys looking in the clinic? And she says to me, oh, we've had a few gaps. And all of a sudden I say, oh, we've had a few gaps too. It must be the economy, it must be X, y and Z, and. And then she goes and talks to another girlfriend who says the same thing. But then I can grab, like, for example, one of our private clients had the best and highest performing week that she has ever had since um, working with us just the week gone. And someone else like this person is is having a real like depends on on which end of the spectrum you're in.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, 100% agree so let's give some praccy teas of what people could do if they're in a situation where they're feeling like a bit of doom and gloom yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think with it. You know this is something that where you focus, it will grow. I know we speak about this all the time, but it really will work. So if you're focusing on, you know, cancellations or appointments moving or lack of turnover and things like that, the chances are it's not going to really like you're not going to just pray that clients decide to move their appointments, but you can have things in there where you can start really changing this up for yourself. And this goes for any business.

Speaker 1:

One of my favorite things to do whenever we have changes in there changes in the book, changes in the week, changes in the day seeing it as an opportunity. Okay, great, what can we do with this? What's the opportunity that we're being presented with? We're being given an opportunity at the moment. What are we going to be focusing on?

Speaker 1:

So, for me, with these sort of things I really like to focus on, say, for example, if we've had a client that's had to move their appointment or not able to come, or whatever the reason is, I often really want to draw in a really aligned client. So not getting on and just putting the availability out, really talking to the client. We spoke about this earlier today with one of our private one-on-one clients and how to really start drawing in new clients, actually getting on Instagram or wherever you do social medias, tiktok, facebook wherever it is that you're doing it, actually talking directly to that client and saying you know, if you've been waiting for the sign to come in, you know today's the day that I'm talking to you, really drawing in that aligned client, speaking about the type of work that you're liking doing, that you're searching for people that are wanting this sort of work done. So really drawing in that person and really like talking to them and actually like I think one of the biggest mistakes that we make as an industry has just been like you know, opportunities for this week or and everyone does it, everyone does that sort of thing but like really talk to the person that you want to get in.

Speaker 1:

Like if you're gonna try and get in that type of client, why not talk directly to them? Because you might actually reach them and they might be like cool, this was the sign that I was looking for. Now I'm gonna book an appointment. If it doesn't change in terms of bookings, I really see this as an opportunity of how you can like level up your client experience, whether that is going through like what they're wanting to do and potentially having more time and opportunity to actually sit with them and work out what they are wanting to achieve with their skin, hair, beauty, thing, whatever it is that they're in your chair for, if they're happy with where it has been going, what they're wanting to do in future, how we can start like upgrading and leveling up from there as well. Can I give an example of that, Yep.

Speaker 2:

So we put out in our broadcast channel. This morning we had a massive cancellation for tomorrow. It was like 25 hours out of the appointment time. We've got a 24-hour cancellation policy. So we had a big appointment and we put it out in our broadcast channel. So we've got to make sure that obviously the energetics behind it are definitely there. But we've put are you working from home tomorrow?

Speaker 2:

tomorrow, we have some time to create magic on your hair while you tap away on your laptop. We offer a nice big table for you to pop your laptop down and get some work done fast. Free wi-fi for you to use, a quiet space so that you can tune into your zoo meetings and concentrate on your work. Coffee, plant milks and lots of homemade treats to nibble on the times that are available. And then you know a call to action. Jump online. Yeah, um, and that appointment got snapped up straight away. Yeah. So that's the real difference between having like the different tone of voice as opposed to availabilities this week yeah, 100.

Speaker 1:

next one I'm just going to give a couple because I feel because this is like one of the superpowers that I have when we have opportunities, what can you do in that time to have it most effective? So, yep, you can sit around and like clean shelves and things like that, or you can actually look at what you're really wanting to get done. So, if you're wanting to train your team, train your team. If you can see there's an opportunity to share some education, work together and do something really amazing, do that. Like. These opportunities sometimes are gifted to us so like rarely. When we have them, it's so important to really make sure that we're taking full advantage of it. Training, training, training such an important thing for us to be doing and something that I feel falls at the wayside really like quickly, especially in-house training. A lot of people send their team off to a masterclass or download something online or anything like that actually spending time training your team from your own point of view.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's so effective and even last week one of our one-on-one clients did this with her team and she has been off the floor for a while while. She did a model with her team last week and had an incredible reaction and response from it because she realized majority of her team hadn't actually seen what she can do and how incredible her results are and were, and also, seeing it from a kind of gave her a little bit more like credibility, but also they could learn from her and actually be really wowed by some of the things that she can do, because it's all well and good if you're like you know, and it's also like having your team see you as an educator, not just as their boss, which I think is really important. You can inspire each other and create change with that and the training is really sustainable.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like it's. It's a sustainable thing that you can do to future-proof your business for sure.

Speaker 1:

I really think. I mean I know we've spoken about this a thousand times over we'll probably speak about a thousand times more. If you can change your mindset to not see a gap in the book as a cancellation or a lack thing and see it as an opportunity of how you're going to best spend your time, that will really change the game for you. Because no matter what you're doing whether that turns into an aligned client, whether that turns into something that is profitable, or if it turns into an education or you getting some tasks done either way you're going to have a win from that. If you just sit there and just focus on the fact that you didn't have someone there, you're not going to move forward yeah, for sure, as you say, it's the opportunity for a new and more aligned client to come on board.

Speaker 2:

One thing I really want to say and I think this is so important is obviously really considering the way that you look at things from either an optimistic or a pessimistic lens, as Tessa said. Um, you know, from my perspective, being really selective about where you start to have your conversations and what you're consuming. So if you're feeling like you're spending too much time on social media, seeing all these things you know and playing the comparison game, put social media down. If people are having these conversations around you, literally walk away and have conversations. Put yourself in rooms where people are having more optimistic conversations. But I also want to share we work on our money mindset every single day. So we show appreciation to money every single day. We show love and respect to money every single day.

Speaker 2:

But for me personally, I literally work on my money mindset every single day. But for me personally, I literally work on my money mindset every single day. And we were talking about this with one of our private clients this week and I wanted to share a journal entry. That I did because I was trying to find some evidence for her Because I said to her I still work on this every single day to keep that muscle strong like going to the gym, I imagine. But to keep that money mindset muscle strong, I work on it every single day and I want to share with you guys a journal entry that I wrote just in my own private journal. I wasn't expecting to take a picture of it and send it to a client.

Speaker 2:

But this is what I wrote. I am abundant. Money flows easily to me. I have the power to retain money. Money wants to stay with me. I love money and money loves me. There is an instant and limitless flow of money available to me.

Speaker 2:

I know that I can always create money and abundance in my life. I am resourceful and money gets to be easy and fun to make. I know that I am always looked after by the universe. I have more than I will ever need. Money comes to me in surprising and mysterious ways. I am always open to receive money. I am a money magnet. Beautiful now.

Speaker 2:

Nothing had happened that like that. I had didn't have like a big bill to pay. I wasn't like my car hadn't died, I I didn't have client cancellations. There was nothing like that. But this is the sort of stuff that I write on repeat in my journal every single day to make sure that I'm looking after that muscle, and this is something that we work on every single day and with our private clients. We're working on it all the time, so really making sure that our energetics and our mindset is really solid.

Speaker 2:

This, I find, is the biggest difference between like talking this talk and walking the walk, because all well and good that we sit here and we're like. You know, the universe is abundant and you can, like, achieve anything that you want, blah, blah, blah. But the difference is it's in those micro moments of every single day changing your mindset, and one way to reprogram your mind is to write down a new belief that you have. Absolutely so. When I first started writing that out, I didn't actually believe that I was abundant. But when I look at the evidence to support that now, I'm like, yeah, I've got two businesses. I have the ability to create and manifest and bring into my life whatever I want. Um, but you know, two years, three years ago, I used to look at it as being like doom and gloom and this business is a burden so even that is the difference.

Speaker 2:

I'm in the same, you know, quote, unquote situation still the same things available to me with a completely different lens.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I think, um, yeah, that's so important and you know, if you are finding that this is, you know, resonating with you and you are realizing this is um going on for you at the moment the power of talking through things with people, uh, people who have got really strong mindsets, who are really abundant, who have, um, you know, people that inspire you. Reach out to those people so that they can help, you know, elevate you, journal things out, write out. If you've got these things, sometimes just writing them out, getting them out of your body, can help and really change up the chemistry that's going on within. Like even just saying it out loud can sometimes be enough. Or, if you're not saying it out loud, writing it out, record yourself on your phone. That used to really help me. When I couldn't like journal, I'd sometimes do like just rants on my phone and be like you know, this is what's going on, this is how I feel, blah, blah, blah, because I just needed to get it out of my system.

Speaker 2:

Once it was out, I could start changing it up well, our brains don't actually know what's real and what's false. Yeah, so if we start telling ourselves you know, everything's fucked and the economy's going downhill and our business is going to fail. Our brains can't actually determine what is real and what is fiction, totally and I think that's a really important thing.

Speaker 1:

Write out how you're feeling, so get out the negativity and then get really clear on what you're focusing, on what you're really going to be, you know, doing this week to really maximize your time. What are you going to be doing to really maximize your experience? What are you going to be doing to call in abundance, to create abundance? How are you going to be servicing your clients, showing up for your people? Get real specific on what you're actually going to be doing, rather than just sitting there wallowing and feeling sorry for yourself absolutely.

Speaker 2:

And look, I think the final thing that I'll say on this is it is important to note resilience does come into play and, like, if you look back when we were in lockdowns, if you look back at those times, people got those people who wanted to like absolutely roll over and die did, and the people who were like no, I can't change the situation, I'm just going to do the best that I can got, extremely result resourceful. But there would have been people that said that that was an extremely abundant time for them. There were people that would have said like woe is me, this is terrible and both are true and both are totally true, but my point is like the different mindset can really affect your results greatly.

Speaker 2:

So three hot tips we're going to be really mindful and pull yourself up when you start to notice you that you're engaging in those conversations or consuming that media or social media where you start to almost become like obsessed with worry now.

Speaker 1:

Next tip I would say would be uh, seeing your gaps as opportunities, flip that in there, create opportunities, start thinking about how you're going to spend your time in those moments and not just focusing on the fact that you don't have anyone there. And I think the last one would be journal out, feel things through, get clear on what you are going to be focusing on. Get the negativity out of your body and start flipping it so that you can really make some magic opportunities everywhere. And if you start seeing it from a more grateful mindset, a more opportunistic mindset, a more, um, positive mindset, the scarcity and the lack, the lack mindset starts evaporating but also when you're positive and when good things start happening, like, obviously, when you're celebrating those things every single time, like, yes, my client bought shampoo and conditioner.

Speaker 2:

When you start to celebrate that you get some momentum and then all of a sudden you're like, amazing, five clients today bought shampoo and conditioner. So even things like that, we celebrate every single, teeny, tiny little micro thing.

Speaker 1:

Yes, Abundance is everywhere. It's just finding, like making sure that you can find it but abundance is everywhere.

Speaker 2:

It's just finding, like making sure that you can find it, yeah, and making sure that you can turn down the lack. Yep, tess, we end every episode in gratitude what are? You grateful for in this moment.

Speaker 1:

I am super grateful that I've first of all, healed my avoidance with money and become super abundant, and I'm really grateful that I can see things from a opportunistic mindset, so not seeing it as a gap or you know, everything that we have. Even you know, last week I had a not one of my most inspiring days was a day full of haircuts, which I I'm a color girl. I need to have some color in there and I could have really had a really lack mindset and a really you know, focusing on the fact that it was just haircuts all day and ended up having an amazing day in terms of education and like how I got to deliver on some of the results that I had as well. So I'm super grateful that I've learned how to master that, because it could have been a really uninspiring and rubbish day and instead it was a really great day and I was really proud of the work that I did and also like the connections and the opportunity I have with my clients Beautiful. I'm really grateful for that opportunity.

Speaker 2:

I have with my clients Beautiful. I'm really grateful for that. What about you? I'm really grateful for all the work that we've done, and then the work now that we get to pass on to other people, and even the work that we see our clients do.

Speaker 2:

It lights me up so much because I feel like you know all those years of mentorship that we invested in and this is where I really think the power of mentorship is so important. You've got to have people in your corner that can help you pull yourself out of a funk. You know when you start to feel this way, but all those years of mentorship that we did and learning and putting ourselves in rooms that we wanted to be in. Now we get to pass on that information and I'm grateful for that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely.
