Slamming into Branding: Inside the Wrestling World with Eric Cornish
May 31, 2024 Season 1 Episode 203
NerdBrand Agency

Have you ever stood in the ring, microphone in hand, ready to announce a wrestling bout that would have the crowd roaring?

Well, that's just a regular Thursday night at OVW RISE for our guest Eric Cornish, the "Voice of the Valley," who joins us on the NerdBrand Podcast to share his journey from print expertise to announcing body slams.

We also peel back the curtain on the intense branding and passion behind wrestling, an art form that defies the norms and pushes the boundaries of personal marketing.

It's more than just a chat; it's a deep dive into the commitment that wrestlers have for their craft, often diving into their own pockets to keep the spirit of the sport alive. Eric's stories about the likes of Al Snow and Mick Foley teach us that whether we're decked out in spandex or engrossed in our favorite fantasy novel, it's our passion that fuels us. And believe me, we're no strangers to passion here at NerdBrand, where we blend professional insights with a love for all things nerdy.

As we celebrate reaching over 200 episodes, we take pride in not just our podcast's consistency, but also in the vibrant community we're building along the way. Whether we're discussing the nuances of business marketing with a promotional twist or inviting you to engage with us online, our goal remains steadfast: to keep your "NerdBrand" strong with engaging content and a touch of that NerdBrand flair. So come for the wrestling tales, stay for the branding banter, and let's keep this conversation as thrilling as a championship match!

Speaker 1:

so, anyways, how's everybody's week going? So far? It was fun. Yeah, just got some steps in. Uh, yeah, a lot of steps. Yeah, yeah, a lot of steps. I feel like I'm holding a trophy, like I accept this award on behalf of the academy.

Speaker 1:

You love me you really love me yeah, for those that can't tell, because obviously we're not doing this on video, I'm holding them like in my lap because we're in a tight space, uh. But it's good we're here, uh, and uh, we're gonna get the show started. So Welcome to the NerdBrain Podcast. Everybody, we are here. I'm Jason Davis, your host. I'm with Jacob Moeller. I have failed to introduce Jacob for the last four five-ish episodes. I'm a terrible podcast host. People want to make an official statement. Jacob Moeller works for NerdBrain. Five-ish episodes.

Speaker 1:

I'm a terrible podcast host. People want to make it an official statement. Jacob Moeller works for Nerdbrand. He's not selling paper anymore. Though, if you want to buy some paper, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

You can ask him for a referral. Yeah, that is true, very much so, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, now we're also here with a special guest, eric. Introduce yourself and tell them who you work for, what you do, because I'm just going to give you the floor for a little bit, because this is wild and a lot of the audience know.

Speaker 3:

Well, there's a whole lot of stuff involved in what I do. So let's start with I can sell you the paper now, but it's got stuff on it. Yeah, there you go. I can sell you the paper now, but it's got stuff on it. Yeah, I, I, eric Cornish, worked for Minuteman Press, which is printing promotional company. Anything you can put your logo on, we can do it for business cards, brochures and booklets, all the way up to posters and postcards and promotional items and, you know, booths for your, your expos and all that stuff. So we can do all that stuff for you. Um, that is one thing that I do. The other thing, the way that uh, a lot of people uh have found me, is uh, you can find me on thursday nights on obw wrestling. I'm the ring announcer, known as the voice of the valley, for uh local wrestling here in lule.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, voice of the valley, I didn't know that was the title you had. It's all about branding oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's all about branding. You guys know a thing or two about that.

Speaker 2:

Just a little bit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so, yeah, that's my thing name, but yeah, I've been doing ring announcing for OVW Wrestling for about four years. I guess I've been with the company five years and so, yeah, yeah, we do live tv. We've got a great um documentary that we were, you know, following around for about four months, uh by a great director named greg whiteley, who's got some awesome, awesome stuff in his portfolio, like, uh, last chance, you and cheer, which were hit, hit shows, and now wrestlers. Uh has been a pretty, pretty big show too on netflix since last september. So that is really uh been a shot in the arm for us at OVW.

Speaker 2:

So if you want to get an idea of what Eric looks like, he is featured on the show multiple times actually and actually has a title card says Eric Cornish.

Speaker 3:

I know now I'm 50 pounds lighter than I was in the show, so I don't necessarily look like that anymore, but it took watching that show to go. Ooh, got to do something, got to walk up four flights of stairs a couple of times.

Speaker 1:

I was just thinking that right now I was like, as I sit here sweating and still catching my breath I know y'all are looking at like are you okay? Do we need to call someone? I'll let you know if I, you know, put my fingers up. Four, three, two, one. I'm not going to make the one.

Speaker 2:

Well, if you hear a thud on the show, that's Jason dropping the mic, but he's not walking out.

Speaker 1:

Show's over. Everybody have a nice time. Well, I appreciate you being on this show. When did we first, you and I first met at like a chamber expo, I think?

Speaker 3:

Didn't we? Or maybe?

Speaker 1:

I think yeah yeah, I don't know, I run into so many people. It's been five years I've been doing this. I've run into so many people. I feel like when brad pitt came out and he said, I got like facial blindness. I was like, fine, oh, you're full of it. And then it's like I started realizing like hey, yeah, that's a thing I don't think I have it. But man, I just think I'm like absent-minded and I'm just so many comes by so fast.

Speaker 3:

You know you can't Totally get it and my other gig that I did before I did Minuteman Press was I worked in radio for 20 years, so I met a lot of people and I also talked to a lot of people that I never saw face to face, you know, over the phone. So, as a matter of fact, today I was walking out of the parking garage and somebody said my full name oh, eric Orange and I immediately go. Where do I know you from? Like where you know. I didn't know if it was the wrestling, I didn't know what it was, and it turns out it was from my last radio station I was at in Elizabethtown, but I was in downtown Louisville, and this guy's like, yeah, I used to listen to you on the radio. I've never met this guy face to face, but he knew. It's weird, yeah, but I sometimes have to go. Where do I know you from? What life do I know you from? Is it the wrestling world? Is it the radio world? Is it like real life?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, do I owe you money? Hopefully not.

Speaker 3:

That's the part I was getting ready to say I was like uh, you know money right yeah that's where you kind of start answering like uh depends on who's asking it turns out, the guy did work for homeland security, which I was like, oh wow, all right, all right. Well, at least you're a fan.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, yeah do I need to run?

Speaker 3:

out of this parking garage Is there a reason you're here.

Speaker 2:

Is the tracker on?

Speaker 1:

my phone. Well, we're happy that you had time to come on the show. We've been visiting the Davis Arena. First of all, no, no relation to myself at all. It was just a funny coincidence. Even the former owner of OVW is named Danny Davis, danny.

Speaker 3:

Davis and that's where it came from. And the original one where we sit right now, across the river on the Indiana side, used to be in Jeffersonville. Not too far from here was the original Davis Arena and then, in 2002, the arena and I will say arena with air quotes I mean it's an arena to us, but it, you know, it's a warehouse, but it's been that way for 25 years hosted live wrestling.

Speaker 1:

So it's an arena, you know.

Speaker 3:

But it is named after Danny Davis, who was the original owner of WBW.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and of course you know that was the other odd coincidence. That was the name of my dad, and I think it was you, or somebody was like are you related to Danny?

Speaker 3:

That would be really funny, though, to come in there and be like by the way my dad is Danny Davis, but yeah, danny was actually a great wrestler in his own right throughout the 70s and 80s. You know Memphis wrestling and Mid-South and a lot of other places. He was part of the Nightmares tag team but really knew the business very, very well and decided you know, you can only you can only fall on your back so many times in in life. You need to do be able to do something afterwards.

Speaker 3:

So, to to get into the teaching realm. Is is how he got there and and that's kind of that continues today with guys like Al Snow. Same deal, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yep, I mean, we ran into some. We met some of the folks there as we've been coming in. You know, I don't know what to say his name, but he's there. You can't miss him. Big guy, he's going to tell you to get up out of your seat and go move into the right seat, joe Cooley. Yes, okay, didn't know what was loud or what, but it was like we had a really cool conversation with him. Uh, another Jason, uh Turner, who does, uh, perfect pitch DJ services, but he doesn't. Yeah, Jason's a, he's like a brother from another mother for me, and so, um, we're just sitting there chatting, eating pizza while wrestling. Nick Foley's coming out, you know, and it's like Jason just looks at me and I'm like yep, and I'm like yep, this is your life now, right, right, and I mean it's funny that you say this to anybody that's listened to this that is a wrestling fan.

Speaker 3:

Maybe they're from this area and have no idea that this exists. I mean, it's literally every Thursday night we do live TV live, as live can be streamed around the world. And yes, mick Foley, the name that you just said you probably know him if you know anything about wrestling. He was there and he's been there 10 times in the last year.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know he was there, and not last week but the week before as well, so it's like he he lives closer than he used to and, uh, he chooses, because of his respect for Al and his love for what we do, uh, to come up on his own dime. He doesn't charge a thing. He is there not making a dime of over being with us. So that just shows you the respect that people have not only for Al who runs it, but just for what we do.

Speaker 1:

So I think that's awesome. Well, I mean talking with some of the people there that are in the arena that are working the crowd, people like yourself, the wrestlerslers, even it was like I appreciate their heart, they and, you see, I think documentary did a really great job of capturing it. You know, you, you kind of get like four through seven is where you start to see like this story and develop of these people are breaking their bodies for their passion. Yeah, you know, um, that has to. That just has another level of appreciation for me, because I know they're not making tons of money doing it. But when I look at what they're doing and how happy they are and how happy the crowd is, it's kind of like they say that just takes it. That's what makes it worth it. Yeah, it really is.

Speaker 3:

I mean, it's anybody who does anything for passion, and a lot of people you know. If you're like my wife, for example, my wife just likes to stay home and read and that's her passion Fine, she's been with me the whole time, through the wrestling thing. About 10 years into it she was like you just go do it, that's fine. I don't really want to be, but whether you play a sport, whether you're in a play, whether you like to sing, if it involves people in a crowd, I mean it's all the same thing and we all want that reaction to whatever we do. And it just so happens that these people are not only playing with your emotions but, you know, falling on their back, as I said, and the costumes.

Speaker 1:

That's the thing that I notice. I'm a guy like in branding. Everything is an ad, as we say. So when they walk up there and they're in their outfit, that's the ad for their personal brand, their character, wherever it goes. Yeah, there's a lot of care taken into that outfit, even though some of them may not much have one because of the business, but it's still. It's investing in yourself.

Speaker 2:

They invested in it, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And it's, it's so amazing. Uh, we were talking about you know characters and they evolve, and that's awesome.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they do, and you have to invest in yourself. That's one of the things I'll preach this to everybody is is invest in yourself, because he is literally giving these people the platform, the commercial, the airtime, and you guys know, being in this business, how much that's worth. Oh yeah, oh yeah. He's literally giving you a commercial for yourself which is your own brand. It's your responsibility to make that brand as noticeable as you possibly can.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean it's a good time. I'm not. I'll confess I've not followed wrestling. I'm kind of like one of those nerds like you put me in a theater with a movie or we want to talk about Batman, I'm gone, for you know all drone for hours, Um. But when I got in there, I was like, yeah, I mean, the nerd brand podcast was kind of birthed out of know me and brandon years ago coming together and I was like I want to do a podcast, but I'll talk about branding in the nerd culture and not review video games or movies, because that's what everybody was doing.

Speaker 1:

This is like 2016, 17 and so we put this thing together, uh, way before it became an agency and but wrestling it actually was a part of that because he was a wrestling fan and so so you know, it's all video games. We never really had to buy it till Jacob and Mitch kind of really come in and could talk about video games. Um, you know, but it was like these are all avenues that they pay for advertising. You interact with them every day, either in person or online or on TV. It's amazing how people just kind of we've become a little desensitized to the fact that that's what we're engaging with. We don't realize that's what we're doing, Right? But that's a huge advantage to anybody like them up on stage, because they know, right, well, and it's like you said, everything's an ad.

Speaker 3:

And I mean in my other business, Minuteman, I mean we're constantly that's what we're doing for people, and I've done it for some of these wrestlers too, and we've figured out ways to make that work. So if you go to the merchandise stand and you've got Cal Hero who's got his foam finger peace sign we made that for him, you know what I mean. So it's like, so that's that's an ad for him. So he sells it, he makes money. I make money cause I sold it to him. And then somebody in the crowd holds it up and now it's an ad for him. Who's on the screen? You know it's everything. So I totally get it. It all, it all works together a fun time.

Speaker 1:

If you're out there and you don't know about this, shame on you. You should go check it out. Just go to what's the ad Go to obwrestlingcom.

Speaker 3:

If you want to get tickets or just see our line, you can go to obwtixcom. Obwtxcom That'll get you there. We're on all social medias and everything else. The best way to see us and see exactly what we do is go to our YouTube channel, which is OVW TV, and if you go there you can see all of our shows streaming live. On Thursday nights, we've got a show on Tuesday nights. We've now got a fan zone that's on Wednesday where you can interact with some actual fans and when we have a lot of interviews and stuff. But but all the stuff is there and you can see what we've been doing and follow the storylines and go back and see some of our old shows. But, most of all, if you're anywhere well, I would say if you're anywhere in the Kentucky area, but people have been coming in from all over the place.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you keep saying that Every time I've talked to you you're like oh, because you actually during the show are like hey, anyone new, where are you from? And you said you got people from Italy last night. Yeah, italy. And Chicago.

Speaker 3:

I mean it was amazing. So we're on tour, we're going to the Chicago area, we're going to Minneapolis, we're going to a few different places that are kind of outside of Vegas and stuff like that. So look forward as we add those to the list too, if you are outside of the Tungan area.

Speaker 1:

Can you talk about the Vegas thing, because that's really neat I don't know much about it.

Speaker 3:

To be honest with you, I do know it's going to be now July 20th and 21st. We're going to be out west. The 20th we're going to be somewhere in Arizona, I think, close to Phoenix, and then we're going to be in Vegas on the 21st. So this will be the first time we've really gone that far out. It wasn't like a car trip or something like that. So we're actually flying out to the show First time OVW has ever done that. So that's really all I know. I don't even know. I don't know if I'm booked, I don't know if I'm going. I am the ring announcer.

Speaker 3:

So hopefully I'm going, but that's about all I know on that so far. But we'll keep you posted. I do think tickets I think they're on sale If you go to obwticketscom. That one's a little farther out than some of the ones we've got coming up, but anyway, so that's that's pretty exciting. I'm looking forward to that. What's the one you got going on tonight? Uh, so tonight, as we sit here, it's Georgetown. Uh, country boy brewing, which is one of our big sponsors. Uh, we love those guys. They've been with us for a long time. Um, so this, and it's featured heavily in the first episode. If you watch Wrestlers on Netflix, you'll see the country boy and the atmosphere when it rained and they had to move us inside, which is sometimes even more exciting in there with the wall of beer and everything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the kegs on the wall and stuff like that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's pretty awesome, but anyway. So country boy in Georgetown, that is tonight as we sit here and talk. We'll be in Augusta, Kentucky, Meade County, on Saturday and then the next round, I believe. Then we go up to the Chicagoland area on May the 31st and then June the 1st we will be in Logansport, Indiana. Yeah, Awesome.

Speaker 1:

How did you end up at Minuteman?

Speaker 3:

So I did radio for a long time and, as of last year I think, I just was ready to to move on at least from where I was. Um was in elizabethtown doing radio and I'd been there five years and was. I just knew I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I knew it was just time to to get away from where I um kind of floated around a little bit last summer and just trying to figure it all out and I had an uncle that was working with me in a man and he was semi-retired and um, I, thomas, who works there at the location Bardstown road, where where I am, was looking for somebody to replace my uncle, and um, so he just pulled me in and said do you want to try this? I said, yeah, let's, let's do it. And he said, okay, good, in six weeks I'm going to South Africa for two weeks. So learn all you can. You're going to have to take the reins here in the shop. So so that's kind of what happened.

Speaker 3:

Um, I learned as much as I could. Um, you know, last September and they took off with very little contact he and his wife and uh and so myself, and then, uh, ray, who does our graphics. He's amazing. And she, she was. She at least she knows how to operate most of the equipment I've. I could, you know, figure everything else out, um and so, uh. So we kind of we held it together place didn't burn down, yeah and so.

Speaker 3:

So now my my general, uh responsibility is to is to get out and talk to folks like you and anybody else that's out there that has any business needs. And what I tell everybody is listen, I'm just here to help. So if and when I talk to people, I ask where do you get your printing? And then they well, I don't know Google and find a good place online. Well, and that's all well and good. But if you want somebody to talk to and actually help you out, I mean, we're pretty good at that, we're pretty responsive. Thomas is a great guy. He'll get you turned around pretty quick on whatever you need, and so I just like to help. I don't consider myself a salesman. That's why, when he asked if I wanted to be a sales associate, I don't put sales in the name. I like to market. Marketing manager is what I am. So I go out and meet people and say how can I help you, um, and then, and then I help people.

Speaker 1:

I know we just threw a bunch of stuff in your lap so you know, I don't know all the details. So the way it works usually is is Jacob here as the account manager, as well as john, so you know. Just fyi, I have no idea. So if you're like, hey, did you get your lab coats, I'm like what, yeah?

Speaker 3:

see, one of the cool things about it is like printing. Like when I think printing and I'm sure if I throw it out there, a lot of people are thinking, oh yeah, you print paper, paper and it's not. It's not all paper. I mean it's because there's so much stuff out there. Like I said, anything you can put your logo on. We could probably do it. And I find out stuff every single day. When Jacob comes to me and goes lab coats and I went lab coats, I've never even thought about lab coats. Well, let me check. And sure enough, I found some lab coats. So that's been. The most fun part about my job is I've got a database of thousands of vendors that I can look through and somebody goes I want something kind of weird. I want like a. Can you put a uh logo on a rubber duck? Uh, let me check yes, I can.

Speaker 2:

We actually had that as an idea, yeah that was one idea, because I'm a jeep driver, so, uh, it's a whole duck duck jeep thing, right, yeah, yeah, was that what is?

Speaker 3:

yeah, I've had somebody else asking for that too, but but then when it comes down to, I mean it's like the wrestlers thing I told you about when, when Cal was like do y'all do foam fingers? And I went, I don't, I don't know. And now I've done three different sets of foam fingers for the rest. So if you see them out there whether it's cashflow, cal, hero, tt, I mean I've done for all of them. I've done slap bracelets, for I mean it's like we've got a large database of vendors that we work with. So you know, for them they're making money For a lot of people. They just want to give it out at expos and stuff, whatever it is. I mean I can do that stuff too. We've done stuff to build somebody's entire booth at expos.

Speaker 1:

People don't think about that. Booth layouts and that kind of a thing like helping design, that I mean if you've got a business to run.

Speaker 3:

A lot of times, people will go into these expos, these, whether it's a business expo, whether it's a trade show, whether it, you know, whatever it is, and then the week before they're going, you don't think about it, but we'll, like you said, branding, it's all branding. We'll get you the backdrop, we'll get you the banners, we'll get you your tablecloth, we'll get you stuff to give out. Well, anything that you need, I mean we can build your whole booth for you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, if Mitch and John were here I would start the fight about. I did not lose our tablecloth. I gave it to Mitch, I swear tablecloth. I gave it to mitch, I swear to god. I gave it to mitch and I know that he probably forgot to pick the box up before we left the venue.

Speaker 3:

So somebody got a bunch of stickers and a tablecloth yeah, one of the coolest things to me and being that I I am so ingrained with ovw stuff and I'm, you know, such a wrestling fan is that now, anybody that walks through that curtain at OVW, that walks past that logo, that logo that is in the back, like we did, so that's kind of cool to you know, but in two ways not only am I announcing them to the ring, but they're walking past stuff that I had made.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're limited by your imagination and budget. Yeah, that's pretty much it, but you'll never know unless you ask. You know, don't worry about the cost, just ask, um, cause you know there may be guys like you that can see like, and I know we'll come up with alternatives or help guide through like. Well, maybe not that, maybe this you know thing. So that's good.

Speaker 3:

And when it comes, down to it if somebody is, you know. Oh well, I found this site online and I got my business cards and I ordered them and they shipped them to me, and then I went over here and I needed some stuff printed, so I went to the place that ships my stuff off. They also have a copier in the back that they're going to print a bunch of stuff on. Okay, fine, maybe you can do that if you're in a pinch, but wouldn't you rather just send me an email and go now? I need this. Can you help me? Yeah, okay, I'll bring it all over at the same time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, so that's how I look at it Make it simple, simple and easy, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a great example of when you're out there, you're talking to people and you meet people, you really have no idea who you're talking to, who they know, who they're connected to, because, again, we're not doing video but for those listening, um eric is a normal, approachable looking dude and you would have no idea unless he starts talking and if you're a fan of wrestling you would have no idea. So you never know who you're speaking with and, and that's one of the things that's still kind of the same way in global, it's like we've run across. That's why when people like, how do y'all get into this stuff? Had somebody yesterday asked me like what are you into now? I haven't talked to you in about a month. Every time I talk to you, you're into something interesting or weird, whether it's movies or serial or whatever, and I'm like um wrestling there. You go.

Speaker 3:

I think there's more and more people getting into it every day. Wrestling has has had its boom period. You know there was the rock and wrestling era with Hogan and then later on in the 90s.

Speaker 2:

With Stone Cold, steve Austin, rock and Undertaker.

Speaker 3:

And I feel like right now we're headed in that direction again.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you guys at OVW.

Speaker 1:

You had John Cena come out of that. Oh yeah, nobody really realized this. And then you had Batista Right and Brock Lesnar.

Speaker 3:

Let's go down to the current WWE champion, cody Rhodes. He literally just went on a podcast last week, and you know, promoting SmackDown coming to Louisville, and somebody asked him about Louisville and without prodding poking I mean, he immediately said 4,400, shepherdsville Road. Al Snow taught me to wrestle, yeah, from the bottom up. This guy is now on top of the wrestling industry. He is the biggest thing in the wrestling industry. His father is the American Dream, dusty Rhodes and his entire, and he flat out said Al Snow taught me how to wrestle from the ground up yeah. What better endorsement can you get than that?

Speaker 1:

I looked at the list and I was like a lot of people. They just don't realize what a jewel is in the backyard.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean I could keep going the Miz, CM Punk, Beth Phoenix, Mark Henry, the Big Show, Can you?

Speaker 1:

tell he likes wrestling.

Speaker 3:

It could go on forever. All those people came through there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah well, mitch, our creative director. He's on vacation. He's taking pictures of airplanes right now on an Air Force base. I think he's going to be fine. He's sending me photos of a Blackbird, a B-52, and I'm like I didn't know they put them on display. Mitch is a big fan. He likes wrestling, video games. He's our creative director. He's been in advertising for about 30 years. I know a lot of people have wondered is Mitch still with you all? We just had somebody today ask me how's John Mitch and everybody doing? I was like they just don't see them. So everybody, john's fixing an HVAC unit.

Speaker 3:

You guys know what that sounds like. I just had a water heater go out this week. Yeah, I just replaced my refrigerator. Let me give you my Venmo in case anybody comes.

Speaker 1:

It's like appliances everywhere decided to just stop work and I had to get a refrigerator delivery and and just uh, it's been a heck of a week. So I'm looking forward to the three day weekend, or for some more of the weekend, or nothing's like. Can we not get us all sleep in anyways? Well, eric, I don't want to hold you up anymore. Um, you know, if you want to plug one more time where people can find you, how they can contact you.

Speaker 3:

Bruce is all right, bruce is all right, I prefer Samantha Urban, who is killing it with WWE right now.

Speaker 2:

There you go yeah, your other Linda. She does a great job, linda.

Speaker 3:

Kay, one of my best friends in the world. She's awesome. We kind of share duties on the ring announcing and commentary as well.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, you material as well. So, yeah, you guys do a really good job. Thank you like the energy that you're putting into that and I'm like, I'm like, yeah, I would have been done about like 30 seconds after starting, I'd be like hey everybody, oh god, it's seven o'clock nine times.

Speaker 3:

All right, once they get the air condition fixed and I don't have to stand there in a suit sweating.

Speaker 2:

Well it still isn't too bad. With the replacement you all did, it was still comfortable. I mean, we were just there last night and it was it. I didn't feel hot or warm or uh, uncomfortable in any way, and I was wearing shorts and a polo.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, there's a serious meeting I've ever taken where everybody's wearing flip-flops and shorts.

Speaker 3:

I was just like all right cool, here's a p's, a PSA. Don't steal copper.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't know who you're affecting with that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, seriously, but no, thank you for being on the show, coming and chatting with us. Yeah, thanks for having me.

Speaker 3:

Speaker 1:

You know we'll probably try to do a lot more of these for sure, and what I'm doing is I'm alluding to the fact that the NerdB brand podcast. Right now we've been going episode by episodes. It's a bad habit, so we are going to get back into that batch content how we do this. So for those that are doing podcasting, free tip don't go week by week you will die.

Speaker 2:

It's a very weak way to do it so I had to get one in there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this week's episode brought to you by jake and that mysterious book of dad jokes. He's got somewhere that we're gonna burn. Um, let me fly folks to the agency. Yeah, memorize them while you can, if I find it, but yeah, no, we appreciate you. Listening to the Nerd Brand Podcast, you can find us on the nerdbrandagencycom slash podcast to listen to the latest episodes. You can also find us on YouTube for the YouTube episodes, for the ones we bothered to have the time to take the video and put it on there. This is a self-produced show. Again, we are an agency with a podcast, not a podcast that has an agency. That's why that's that way. But yeah, this is episode. I don't think it'll be 203, 204. So, yeah, we've been doing this for a while. And, eric, as you can see, like we've been doing this a while, like this, like this, All good, you can tell like, yeah, we're ready for a home, but anyways, you can check us out online, like subscribe, do all the things and we will see you later.
