The Drama Triangle Part 3: Rescuer/Coach
Welcome to part 3 of the drama triangle series!
Rescuer energy wants to help. But often times, the motives are muddles. Rescuer energy "helps" in order to get a specific return. This might be in the form of gratitude or a specific emotional response. This can show up as White Knight syndrome. This is where the Knight saves the damsel, but also perpetuates that damsel energy so he can remain the white knight!
Let's explore both the Rescuer energy as well as its antidote, the Coach.
