Today on We Have Hope, Kim talks with Sarah Marshall of KVC West Virginia. KVC West Virginia is a state-licensed child placement agency dedicated to strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect. After seeing a need for more educational options for youth experiencing foster care, KVC partnered with First Star Academy and Fairmont State to offer Middle College.


Middle College at Fairmont State University is a specialized, on-campus academic program created for West Virginia youth in foster care. It provides a pathway for high school students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree (or college credit toward a bachelor’s degree).
