This is the story and the journey of Solomon Opio a Lead at The Binary Garage | Uganda Country Lead at Startup Africa Roadtrip | Community Lead, Google Developer Groups (GDG)
He is the Lead and Co-founder at Soltech Digital Solutions a technology company. He leads The Binary Garage's initiative to support technologists and startups to learn, design and build the right products for the right market.
He is also the Uganda Country Lead for Startup Africa Roadtrip, a project born in 2017 with the mission of discovering the East African local ecosystem and sharing professional skills in the fields of digital marketing and venture capital.
For a period of 5 years, he worked for Outbox Technology Hub as a Community Manager and Capacity Development Lead respectively, in charge of training and other activities geared towards growth and skill development for the developer community, start-ups and industry players.
He has also worked as a Systems and Networks administrator at the College of Computing and Information Sciences for a period of 1 year and 3 months.
He is the Google Cloud Developer Community (GDG Cloud) Lead for Kampala, in charge of programs, training, other events and initiatives around Google Cloud technologies in Kampala. Prior to that, I led GDG Kampala for 3 years.
