He is author of 15 books and editor of The Stockman Grass Farmer, the world’s leading pastured livestock trade journal.
Featured in countless media outlets, including Michael Pollans’ Omnivore’s Dilemma and the
award-winning documentary Food Inc., he is known as the most famous farmer in the world.
His own monicker is Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer.
A sought-after conference speaker, he travels the world encouraging farmers in biological and
profitable systems and inspiring food buyers to purchase intentionally, “healing the land one
bite at a time.”
