This week on “Learning To Bet On Yourself”, I welcome my former troop and good friend to the podcast, Mr. Adam Taylor. We both share a common thread that we entered the military at an “older” age and discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of doing so. Adam shares with us his experiences with the DoD SkillBridge program, and how it’s a true test of “betting on yourself” with networking and introducing others to your talents and abilities in hopes of seeking a full-time job opportunity. He also talks about his “Watch Me!” moments and how he rises above when someone may doubt his abilities, and the importance of bringing others up with him as he continues navigating the aspects of life in his career, education, and fatherhood.
