About our guest:
Jun Han is a visual storyteller who explains crucial ideas with simple visuals.
After 2 years of growing his audience and business on social media, he
realised that while most people communicate verbally, the best in their
field inspire and influence people by helping them see the vision and
possibilities. And so, he's on a mission to help businesses reach and engage
more people through his visual design service. He also teaches visual thinking
for effective communication.
Here are his 3 Fs to making a success of being self-employed:
1. Financial Forecasting: Jun Han emphasizes the importance of knowing your
financial runway. It's crucial to understand how long you can sustain yourself
without income and to plan accordingly. This will help you navigate the
uncertainties of entrepreneurship without undue stress.
2. Friends: Surround yourself with friends who understand and support your
entrepreneurial journey. While all friends mean well, those who are on a similar
path can provide the specific advice and encouragement you need to thrive.
3. Faith: Having clarity in your mission about why you're pursuing your business is key. This mission-driven approach will give you the strength to persist through
the challenging times—because they will come!
