Speaker 2:

I'm Kelly Misgorsky and this is Ryan Frankovsky and you're listening to mocktails or messy.

Speaker 1:

What are?

Speaker 2:

we drinking today? We are having some Cabernet.

Speaker 1:

Sauvignon. Thank you, my favorite type of wine to drink.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I have the Josh today.

Speaker 2:

Okay, nice, nice. That's how I have this Cabernet Sauvignon.

Speaker 1:

How do you say that? So this is the.

Speaker 2:

Saint Viviana.

Speaker 1:

Cabernet Sauvignon de-alcoholized wine.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, de-alcoholized.

Speaker 1:

You know. So we did have a Q&A on Instagram and it was like ask us anything. And somebody commented the two of you have P brains. I'm not sure why anyone would listen to your show.

Speaker 2:

I was laughing and I don't know you were a little annoyed at first and then well, because I was like do we?

Speaker 1:

and I was like yeah, we do, and then I just started laughing.

Speaker 2:

I know, I know, I mean, I think it's some part of it, it's. It's true we do kind of act a little ditzy, a little airheadish, but at the end of our, in our core, we are very articulate and intelligent.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

We might just use a lot of likes and ums in between we're we're perfecting this, you know. It's just gonna take us a little bit longer than maybe the big brain to kind yeah not the, not the P brain cheers to being a P brain, and that's all sarcasm there, right?

Speaker 1:

Absolutely Listen. I've been living in the south for 10 years.

Speaker 2:

I know.

Speaker 1:

So y'all just kind of flows off the tongue. Exactly, but we're gonna say yinz, yinz.

Speaker 2:

Whatever?

Speaker 1:

yinz, think of us. It's none of our business.

Speaker 2:

Exactly None of our business. I love that you were. The first time I think this was like three years ago you gave me that advice. You said Ryan Franco.

Speaker 1:

What they think about you is none of your business.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

If you have an ego, you get riled up and you're like it is my business, I want to know. But if you just kind of like take a deep breath, you realize it's none of my business what they think of me, because I think it all comes down to there's three sides to every story. Yes, yes, we can definitely my story confirm that your story and the real one, and it's really none of my business what other people are thinking about.

Speaker 2:

I like that about you. I mean you're a little bit tougher than people think.

Speaker 1:

It's 100% of a sod. I'm not that tough.

Speaker 2:

You're a Gemini, so you got two different sides apparently.

Speaker 1:

I'm a tough motherfucker.

Speaker 2:

Don't as you do, a little hair flip, okay, okay, studio Raw cut.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Studio Raw.

Speaker 2:

I know they did a good job. I'm digging it. It really frames that heart shape.

Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you, yes.

Speaker 2:

Contrary to you know maybe, what somebody has said, yeah, your face says it all. I know, whenever you don't want me to talk about something, you give me that little smirk like Listen, he knows all the details to my life. Yes.

Speaker 1:

Not all the details need to be shared. Some chapters of my life aren't meant to be shared.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I mean I think that you're less of an open book because you probably have more to lose. I'm just like completely like, let it all hang out.

Speaker 1:

It's cool to burn a few chapters.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so today, happy Valentine's Day, I'm happy Cheers. Well, let's turn that into the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1:

Asher says that, like you should let it burn. Right, yeah, let it burn.

Speaker 2:

I like this Saint Viviana.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, d alcoholized.

Speaker 2:

I still can't say that word, right. You said it D alcoholized.

Speaker 1:

Not whole.

Speaker 2:

D alcoholized, you did it.

Speaker 1:

Good job. I'm terrible. That's my mom coming out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you did it. Cheers to that, okay.

Speaker 1:

So what did you do over the weekend?

Speaker 2:

I watched the Super Bowl. I mean, you can't get over this whole Travis and Taylor after this whole, like you know, couple that came out of nowhere and it just feels like it is that. How long have they been together.

Speaker 1:

I think people are either really over it or they can't get enough. Yeah, I think my question would be like did you watch the Super Bowl for Taylor? Like cause Taylor really put Travis Kelsey on the map.

Speaker 2:

Did he or did she?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, she really put him on the map.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because before that. I was like I was like wait, he's not even the quarterback, he's just the linebacker.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean not just like the linebacker is a very important part of, but to get that notoriety and attention. It's because of Taylor.

Speaker 1:

It is, and real sports fans are gonna disagree with us, and that's, that's fine. But, like for us non sports fans like I don't watch football religiously.

Speaker 2:

No, no, not at all.

Speaker 1:

I don't know all the players names, like she put them on the map.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I mean I do watch my Steelers, my Penguins, my Bacos, but like at the end of the day, Right, I know Steelers Penguins. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So like do you truly watch the Super Bowl for the commercials or the halftime show or for the game? I want to know that.

Speaker 2:

I watch it for every element. I don't think there's one. I mean, that game was really good. And I'm not even necessarily like a. I didn't play football, my brother did in high school but I was like, wow, that was a really good game to watch.

Speaker 1:

So here's the thing I went to bed after the halftime show thinking that the 49ers had it in a bag. Yeah, I woke up the next morning and the outcome I wanted happened and I was so excited, so that you're right.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Things just take a turn. I know, and it just can be so exciting To be honest with you.

Speaker 2:

The 49ers were our team to win. It was maybe just something that me and my family were like. You know what we like the underdogs. Kansas City has been winning too much. It's always that way.

Speaker 1:

I have two good friends and, like one of my really close friends, roots for Kansas City.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, like I just had to root for Kansas City Plus you know I thought it would be, so you know iconic for Taylor and Travis. I know, but what do we think about Travis pushing the coach?

Speaker 2:

That was a little too much. I think he gets getting a little too cocky.

Speaker 1:

I mean, you know yourself like he better not touch Taylor like that I don't know. That just kind of like made me nervous.

Speaker 2:

That's a good point. It made me a little nervous, yeah, I don't know if I feel like it was a little disrespectful. And then did you notice whenever he went up on stage and he was like talking like Viva Los Vegas? Oh wait, you didn't watch that, I didn't. Okay, that was at the end of the win when they won.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna have to look that up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was a little crazy, but you know, I think in some ways I was like this is nice. You know Taylor Swift is with a guy that is unapologetically himself. I mean, he's not really polished, he's just like a good looking like all American, bearded, like, almost, like you know, lumber sexual guy. That's a really good football player.

Speaker 1:

What is lumber sexual? You've never heard that. Actually there's a TikTok account that I think is very lumber sexual oh.

Speaker 2:

And I wish I could remember the name of it. Do you like lumber sexual, Like a guy that has a beard? He's like fit. He's got like a nice planal.

Speaker 1:

I have a fetish where I want to see them actually chopping logs, like it.

Speaker 2:

You really do.

Speaker 1:

It does something.

Speaker 2:

Uh-huh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like seeing a man work.

Speaker 2:

That sounds kind of hot.

Speaker 1:

I mean, oh my God, my face is getting red right now.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, you sure it's not the vino. It's not the vino I'm actually I have a very picture mind set. Yeah, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1:

I'm thinking about this one TikTok account and, of course, my husband when he chops a bunch of logs with his shirt off.

Speaker 2:

It does turn you on. I've seen you.

Speaker 1:

It does something to me. Yeah, you need to. I'm gonna show you when.

Speaker 2:

I was in Mississippi. I remember he was chopping lumber, yes, and I was like Kelly is oddly fascinating. I got, so I thought you were putting a little act on.

Speaker 1:

I was like looking out the window. I know you're so cute with him. That was not an act.

Speaker 2:

See, this is in honor of Valentine's Day. Let's cheers to having a Valentine. You have a Valentine.

Speaker 1:

I actually Did you say Valentine.

Speaker 2:

Oh, valentine's, I didn't say time did I. Yeah, so you have your Valentine, ryan. Miss right, and not me. Did I really I time? It's T I any, it's not time.

Speaker 1:

I love it, it's true.

Speaker 2:

No Valentine, Not time. It's not time. Right V a L E N T I any? Oh my god wait, I got to grab this card for my Valentine.

Speaker 1:

Wait, really, what is this?

Speaker 2:

This is for my Valentine. I thought I wasn't gonna have a Valentine this year.

Speaker 1:

Who's this from?

Speaker 2:

Do you want to know who it's from?

Speaker 1:

Is this from your little cousin? Who is from?

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna read it. You're a super grandson on Valentine's Day and every day it is.

Speaker 1:

Valentine.

Speaker 2:

It's from grandma, your Ryan. Not everybody can say their grandson is super, but everyone has a strong, smart, talented grandson like you. Happy Valentine's Day with love and pride. Oh, wow, she's throwing the pride in there. I like it. Love and best wishes for a super Valentine's Day. G ma and G pa. Xo, xo, won't you be my Valentine? That's adorable. I thought I wasn't gonna have a, did she even know I don't even talk to them about my ex. She knows but I don't talk about that.

Speaker 1:

That's mommy, told her.

Speaker 2:

I don't think so. I think you maybe. I'm sure like she was maybe she low key knows low key, but that was really cute. I was like won't you be my Valentine from my grandma, my 87 year old grandma? I love you, grandma. Put your exy.

Speaker 1:

So what did we think of the halftime show? Show for the Super Bowl. So, as someone, I've actually passed out before from being like stressed out and like nervous, and when I saw usher sweating the way he was sweating, he was fine obviously.

Speaker 2:

To be honest with you, I think that's his MO, like he's always been that sweater like sweaty, sweaty Betty, yeah, like, and any of his concerts.

Speaker 1:

You think his plan was to take the shirt off, or do you think he took it off because he was shut like sweating so profusely?

Speaker 2:

Oh no, they always have that shit down to a science. And I was thinking he did have a lot of fabric, a lot of material. It was a little androgynous but I was loving it.

Speaker 1:

So I was thinking it was kind of like a.

Speaker 2:

Like granny chic not like it.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know what?

Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're talking about. Like it was a little feminine, but I liked it. It worked like high fashion.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, that's maybe not.

Speaker 2:

Feminine is not the right word no, no like androgynous.

Speaker 1:

Sleeve, fashionable and the show was kind of like boring at first or simple.

Speaker 2:

It's not boring, I was watching.

Speaker 1:

It was simple. And then all of a sudden, the rollerblades.

Speaker 2:

Started.

Speaker 1:

Exciting to watch and then, well, my favorite part was when Alicia Keys oh my god, she was so beautiful in that body suit. Does she age?

Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no she does not.

Speaker 1:

She gets more beautiful.

Speaker 2:

I know and she did you have makeup on. I know that she was going through that phase that she didn't wear makeup.

Speaker 1:

She did go through that phase and like she had maybe like mascara on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's just naturally that pretty. I know. So if you had to like name a celebrity crush, who would be your celebrity crush? Oh the tessie. Oh, selling sunset. Yeah, oh, chris shell or Chris Christine.

Speaker 1:

The villain, the one that's with Nick Cannon.

Speaker 2:

Oh, she is hot. Oh, yes, Bri.

Speaker 1:

Bri from selling sunset. I think it's. She's my it, so it used to be Megan Fox. Yeah but I don't know it's, it's Britesi now.

Speaker 2:

Britesi as you can see.

Speaker 1:

I like the dark hair with the blue eyes.

Speaker 2:

How are you liking that, josh Cabernet?

Speaker 1:

You know what it's a go-to for me, like yes, if. I just want like a Cheap bottle actually like this one.

Speaker 2:

This non-alcoholic St Viviana Cabernet Savio Is only 10 calories per eight fluid ounce. And then you have that. I'm all about the sugar so the total sugar is only one gram.

Speaker 1:

Isn't that great. How is that possible?

Speaker 2:

Honestly, it's nice because it's a little drier. Yeah, I have to try it sometime. I mean I don't want to mix, no, and you're gonna get a little messy. So tell me all the like messiness that's going on in your life right now. Anything that you'd like to divulge?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, nice try.

Speaker 2:

Okay. Well then, I have to be honest with you. I started reading this book and I think about you when I'm reading it, and it is the eight Roles of love by Jay Shetty.

Speaker 1:

Okay, this is perfect for Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2:

I know how to find it. Keep it and let it go. That's, that's like the prelog, or is that they?

Speaker 1:

Sure.

Speaker 2:

Basically when I read this like I got. My friend Rafael got me this book. He was visiting town last weekend and he got it for himself as well. He's going through a breakup. I knew that I was going through a breakup, that's why he came to visit me from LA. But you know eight roles of love. Jay Shetty love him. He's amazing, don't you think? You listen to his podcast?

Speaker 1:

I love Jay Shetty. Yes, I see that you have like dog ear to bunch of pages. In here is this dog ear.

Speaker 2:

I like this.

Speaker 1:

We call it when you like, flip it over and it's all floppy. Yeah, you know my dog girl?

Speaker 2:

Yes, you are, you have three of them.

Speaker 1:

I know some people would argue that's too much.

Speaker 2:

We remember when the one dog when we were visiting you like got electrocuted and you seemed like really upset.

Speaker 1:

So I didn't get electrocuted, the dog did. That's true, it was the dog because you just kind of said that.

Speaker 2:

It's that non-alcoholic St Viviana, it's really got me buzz. I feel a little placebo buzz.

Speaker 1:

So my dog did dig a hole and bite a grounding wire going to our house and she did get electrocuted and yeah, I lived much longer after that, but um she was a trooper.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know poor thing, like you know, just was way too rambunctious and needed to be electrocuted.

Speaker 1:

I can laugh about that now.

Speaker 2:

I'm just kidding that was that was heartless, that's not, well, I'm not.

Speaker 1:

That dog was so high energy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I Don't know if I could have her in the tiny house that I'm in now.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, you had a lot more yard in the Mississippi place and yeah yeah, well, I mean the eight rolls of love by Jay Shetty. How to find it? So that's not you. Keep it, that's you.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

You're keeping it with the marriage. Mm-hmm and me Let it go.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, it kind of sets all the little checkboxes and you know some of the dog ears that's how we got transferred ever Some of the dog ear pages. I'm gonna use that for now on. I Liked what he said a whole self. We've been trained to look for our better half or someone to complete us. Does that make us the worst half? Does it mean we're incomplete without a partner? I thought that really like kind of opened me up. Like no, we are our better half or we are the complete. Like when they say like oh, I want to find my other half or better half, I do find that like really weird for somebody who is maybe single and really enjoying it and Better half, like he's not your better half.

Speaker 1:

No, husband, no. And if he, if I was single and somebody was like I need you to complete me. Yeah, I would be freaked out, that'd be a red flag and I would run for the.

Speaker 2:

Have you ever had that before?

Speaker 1:

Actually, I think I used to be that person.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I was the person that thought I needed someone to complete me. Okay, yeah, in the past and Now I feel complete by myself. So like. I'm complete, my husband's complete and you have two complete people coming together.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 1:

There's absolutely no insecurities.

Speaker 2:

Yes, really, I mean, I'm my person, you're your person.

Speaker 1:

We're choosing to be together.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, and I think just you guys finding each other after high school into college, almost like through college, and it was really just a magical moment where you were both very secure in your own individual careers and you know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

I still live separate lives. I mean as a pilot. I'm now a homemaker essentially.

Speaker 2:

Did you ever think you were gonna say you're a homemaker? Hell, no.

Speaker 1:

I have my good and bad days.

Speaker 2:

And then another excerpt that I had found in here that I thought you might really like, kelly. It kind of reminded me of what you taught me is your purpose has to come first for you and your partner's purpose has to come first for them.

Speaker 1:

What do you think of that?

Speaker 2:

I mean, I think that this is important, you know, like having that like calendar that you guys create, like you have this calendar set up where it's like it says three nights a week together, alone for one night, shared friends two nights a week and then your friends individually one night a week. I think it just give you it really does give you the balance behind a successful relationship or marriage. I mean, I just feel that I didn't really have a lot of alone time and it was a lot of shared friends but not like individual friends.

Speaker 1:

The alone time is super important.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I love my alone time without him too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I would call myself an introverted extrovert.

Speaker 2:

What about yourself? I mean, I always thought of myself as clearly just only extrovert, like let's do this, let's meet people, let's socialize. And then something changed. I don't know what it was, but I think it was turning 33.

Speaker 1:

You started to be true to yourself.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

You're not a people, pleaser anymore.

Speaker 2:

You nailed it. What happened? Is it the breakup? Is it like just turning 33?

Speaker 1:

I think it's moving home. A breakup will teach you a lot about yourself.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you nailed it, I didn't even need to do that.

Speaker 1:

But, like.

Speaker 2:

I'm not like a big reader. I'm not a big advocate of like reading the book at night, like right before you go to bed. I'm always usually like editing or studying on my computer. It's a lot of screen time for me.

Speaker 1:

When I'm pregnant, I read every night when I'm not pregnant.

Speaker 2:

I don't read. I think I could have used this a couple of weeks ago, just through the breakup situation. I keep talking about this breakup just because I'm currently in the thick of it. You are still, I'm still in the thick of it and I feel healed.

Speaker 1:

It takes like three months. Ok, I think it takes three months.

Speaker 2:

OK, so let's say, like that's one, soon it'll be two months.

Speaker 1:

So you are in the middle of it.

Speaker 2:

I'm dealing with all your feelings and thoughts.

Speaker 1:

You need to give yourself a good three months. That's what I say.

Speaker 2:

OK, well, this is good advice. I mean you know a lot more of it than me, because I don't.

Speaker 1:

I think it takes one bad breakup to teach you everything.

Speaker 2:

Really yeah, because when you said this like thing that is like quoted in my head, like did you seize contact with them, and I thought, damn like I didn't, I didn't think that was an option. I never thought that was an option because every relationship I was in, get out while the getting's good. Get away from there. Run for the hills.

Speaker 1:

All right, what's this next page? Ok.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to run for the hills now. I'm going to run all the way to Pittsburgh. Yes, write a love letter to help you heal. Try writing a healing note to yourself, like what I mean, you know.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sensitive. I'm not sensitive enough to do that. I'm not mushy enough to do that. That's cute if you want to do that, but I think it's going to help.

Speaker 2:

I mean, as crazy as it sounds like.

Speaker 1:

You know what? Yes, I actually did. I have in the past, wrote a note on my mirror.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay, you can do this.

Speaker 1:

Then I wake up when I brush my teeth I see the note. It says you can do this.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

It's like with dry erase marker on your mirror and it makes you it kind of like, gives you a little like up beat.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there is something about that. Did you write it with lipstick.

Speaker 1:

No, I just got a dry erase marker. Oh, you said dry erase. If you are listening.

Speaker 2:

I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1:

But you can write it with lipstick too. Honey, kiss the mirror too, if you want.

Speaker 2:

You think that I wear lipstick? I was just thinking.

Speaker 1:

Maybe at night you do when no one's around.

Speaker 2:

In high heels too. You know the eight roles of love. Honestly, it cannot be more important to me now and I think I'm going to take that with me this book and what I learn and what I kind of absorb into the next relationship or the next single ship. I want to call it a single ship. I'm very happy to just be like focused on doing what I want doing what I love doing. Like a trip by myself, I mean. As much as I have a lot of friends around now that you guys have moved back to Pittsburgh and even my family is really large, I want to kind of start getting to know myself again, or for the first time.

Speaker 1:

I think this is from a friend. I can see that this is the first time you're evolving right now, and what I'm serious is incredible.

Speaker 2:

You serious.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm sorry, is that offensive?

Speaker 2:

No, I'm just like aha moment, like I do feel like sometimes you are really kind to me and sometimes you just are there, like to support me, no matter what.

Speaker 1:

And now.

Speaker 2:

I'm like listening to you and I'm like shit, she's right, I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass on a podcast.

Speaker 2:

Honestly, the book is just something that I really want to push, not only for myself. It doesn't benefit us to be pushing this book. It's just something that really hits home in multiple ways, not just dealing with a breakup, it's about, you know, keeping on to that relationship, learning to work together. I mean, it's kind of like a little bit of like therapy, but like deconstructed all in one and it gives you some visuals behind it to kind of like set your love up for success.

Speaker 1:

I love that. Well, happy Valentine's.

Speaker 2:

Day Cheers, cheers, darling.
