508 Walk your walk

We have a certain Christian walk that we do.
We might teach, preach, sing or something for GOD.
But what if I tell you that GOD wants you to do more.
I do a lot, you might say, and you just might but.....
GOD has been known to move people to do different things.
More for him and we shouldn't just rest on one thing that we are currently doing.
You can move closer to him.
You can do more for him.
Be usable and watch GOD do great things.
It isn't about us anyways it all about Jesus and pointing others to him.

Walk your walk

You say that you are walking your Christian walk, well the best way that you can.

I would like to encourage you to take another step closer to GOD.

Sure we pray continually.

Sure we love and lift up others.

But GOD reminded me that he has more for us, more that he can give us and more that we can do for him.

You might be a preacher, teacher, praise leader or many different parts of the church body, but we shouldn’t lean on those.

It would be easy to say, I do this for GOD and that is all that I can do.

Or I will do this or that and someone else can do that.

Be careful when you put GOD off.

Don’t try to hide or run from what you are currently called to do for GOD.

I say currently lightly.

If you have been in service for the Lord for any time then you know that GOD will put you in lots of wonderful positions.

You might be a door greeter at one church and teaching at another.

I want you to understand that we shouldn’t tie our Christian walk down to the job that we are in right now.

As we grow in the faith then things will be added unto us.

I can tell you that my Christian walk has allowed me to serve GOD in different ways.

I can also tell you that I liked some of the jobs better than others.

The best thing about working for GOD is that it is ever changing.

If you are bored as a Christian then you need to check your connection.

GOD and his service is never boring.

And if you are honest with yourself then you know when the Holy Spirit is telling you that it time to change.

To go somewhere else or to do something else.

To many times I refused to move when GOD said move.

GOD then moved me and it wasn’t pleasant or good for my pride.

If I would have moved when he told me to then I would have saved myself some trouble.

Other who are around can tell or know that you are supposed to move or do something.

I can’t explain it but it is something that you feel.

You can try to talk with the person who is at a crossroad and help with life lessons that you have been given.

In the end it is up to each one of us to walk our walk.

To do the best we can to life up Jesus to the lost world.

To go out and make disciples.

That we use whatever talent that GOD has given us to touch some soul.

To win over the lost ones who are searching for answers.

Those that are in need, you can point them to the answer.

Jesus.

As I get older and closer to deaths door, I feel more and more that we should be spreading the good news.

That is why I do these podcasts.

GOD has allowed me to host a weekly bible study for over 11 years now.

It would be easy for me to step back and say that I am doing a lot for GOD.

But really, it isn’t about me and what I do for GOD.

It is about telling others about how to get to Heaven.

It is about teaching of the love of Jesus and he is the only way back to GOD.

Jesus paid the price for our eternity.

Thank you for doing what you are for GOD.

But trust me when I say that you can do more.

Trust GOD and allow him to use you more today.
