Lenny Schmidt has been a traveling Stand-up Comedian for over thirty years. In "Total Schmidt Show", Lenny sits and chats with other entertainers he runs in to as he travels. Comedians, singers, dancers, singers, song writers, magicians.... everyone who has built a career traveling and performing live on stages, cruise ships, theaters, TV, film, comedy clubs, concert halls, bar mitzvahs, strip clubs, or alleys. Some you will know. Some you will not. We shine a light on the working (not famous) live entertainer.
TSS was inspired by Lenny's previous podcast, "Quarantine Comedy", During the pandemic, Lenny spoke with other live performers about how they got through that difficult time. Everything from Zoom shows, Parking lot comedy, and streaming concerts.

Ryan is exactly the type of artists I thought about when I started TSS. At the time of this recording, Ryan was playing the role of "Frankie" the lead in "Jersey Boys". Lots of insight to what goes on in the life an an actor. From hidden cups of water on the set, proper health and fitness during a show run, working with numerous acting coaches in NY, taping auditions... balancing it all with a new wife.... This is the life of a performer.
