Andrew Gibbons, MM, GCFP is known for his skill at teaching people a more precise functional performance, deeper self awareness and how to stay safe and strong in life's activities. As an experienced Feldenkrais teacher, he is sought out by clients ranging from world class musicians, professional athletes, and people with persistent issues of chronic muscular and joint pain, injury, stiffness, balance and neurological conditions. A Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® since 2003, he sees clients in his private practice in Manhattan, and teaches classes and workshops.
Andrew is also an Assistant Trainer working in Feldenkrais Teacher Certification Programs, including the Feldenkrais Training Academy in Seattle, WA. He is a trained classical pianist with degrees from Columbia University and the Manhattan School of Music. Since 2008, Andrew has taught the Feldenkrais Method® for the prestigious Marlboro Music Festival in Marlboro, VT where he has worked with some of the world's top classical musicians who come together for a summer of intense chamber music, professional collaboration and public concerts.
