So a cat, a human, and a toothbrush walk into a room, and out comes a story
Erin tells a story about one of our cats, Azzy, who is quite the timid one. She is the only one of our nine cats who demonstrates this, so it can sometimes feel strange. While she (Erin) was brushing her teeth, our cat "Azzy" was purring loudly and looking for attention. Erin reached down and gave her some much-appreciated scratches. When Erin stopped and leaned over the sink to rinse her mouth out, Azzy proceeded to bite her ankle. Erin let out a yelp! Erin draws on several examples of this behavior and how it connects to our own personal connections.
When do we feel safe? With whom we feel uncomfortable. Is it a them issue? Is it a you issue? Erin breaks it down in an easy-to-digest way. We hope you enjoy it!
