Today, my sister Kirrah is back, and we are talking about another one of the most heinous crimes in American History, The Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. From 1926-1928, Gordon Stewart Northcott kidnapped, raped, and killed up to 20 boys in California; one victim was the precious Walter Collins in Los Angeles, as examined in the movie The Changeling starring Angelina Jolie.
The poison in this episode is the Amaro Nonino Negroni.
If you want to drink with us, you will need an Amaro Nonino, gin, and sweet vermouth
The recipe for the Amaro Nonino Negroni (Grimoni) is as follows:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Sweet or Semi-sweet Red Vermouth
1 oz Amaro Nonino
Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail glass and stir for 30 seconds. Add ice to a rocks glass and strain.
