I Swear To Drunk I Am Not God

Welcome to Season 2, Episode Two!
Today, Kirrah (@naomicampbalhead_) is in the house, and we're talking about Robert "Yummy" Sandifer!
The poison in this episode is the Red Star.
If you want to drink with us, you need Uncle Nearest Rye Whiskey, Hibiscus syrup or liqueur, and ginger beer.
The recipe for the Red Star is as follows:
1 1/4 ounces Uncle Nearest Rye Whiskey
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed (optional)
1 ounce pineapple juice (optional)
1/2 ounce hibiscus syrup or liqueur
Garnish: fresh mint sprig or hibiscus flower
Pour the ingredients (everything except ginger beer) into a cocktail shaker and shake (with ice). Then, strain and add the mixture to a rocks glass. Top it off with ginger beer.
