Episode 16 with Aaron
Aaron returns (first joining us in Episode 8) to polish off Chapter V in The Second Book of Nephi. We power through Jacob's copying more Isaiah into the permanent record. One gets the impression that Nephi and Jacob have an entire cottage industry dedicated to making brass paper because they are not shy about pulling in significant sections of the bible--maybe they thought their copy would last longer? I mean, they got the idea for a brass bible from the one they stole, so what's with all this copying? Who knows? And who knows why Jacob feels compelled to delve so deeply into what has to be the only part of the Bible revealing God's sexual preferences. We only made it through these pages because of two things: the marvelous Cara; we can never do another boring chapter without her and the magic Jewish eight-ball, our trusty Liahona. It becomes clear that these two are a package deal. Our trusty Liahona can only be wielded by her capable hands–it must be her faith or something like that.
