Unshakeable Hope: A Conversation on Advocacy with Kelly Hall
Mar 12, 2024 Episode 71
Kristi Lowe

Is there someone in your life that you feel particularly protective of or feel called to care for? As believers, there are times where we walk as advocates for the vulnerable or the unseen. This week’s conversation continues with Kelly Hall about the testimony of being an advocate for those around us.

Kelly Hall is the mom of four kids, three of whom are profoundly deaf. We discuss how to be a good advocate for the people God put in our life. We also cover points about releasing the sad stories we tell ourselves for more empowering stories, learning to trust God time after time, and building unshakable hope.

You’ll Learn:

  • [05:37] Kelly shares when she realized her eldest child was deaf.
  • [10:45] Kelly talks about wrestling with God in prayer and wanting to keep her two youngest kids from being deaf. How did the Lord prepare her heart?
  • [16:33] What happens when you must let go of the dreams you originally imagined for your kids?
  • [23:03] We serve a gracious God.
  • [29:47] Kelly recalls a time she didn’t have easy access to a support system and felt like she was barely hanging on. How did she make it through?
  • [40:24] God can help you see your life story differently.
  • [48:23] Kelly encourages everyone to have unshakable hope.
